Appearance: Aithne has short, blond, messy hair, that she usually likes to cover up so she doesn’t have to fix or style it. Her light amber eyes are large, and likely the only indicator of her real sex. She is mostly always in baggy clothing, that hides what few womanly features she has. Personality: Aithne was never good with people, so being around them causes her to become nervous and tense up. She doesn’t really talk to them, unless they talk to her first. Once people talk to her though, many soon regret it because she sounds like a know-it-all. In truth, she is just trying to make conversation with people the same way her parents spoke to her. She will also judge a person’s value within seconds of meeting them. If she thinks they are valuable, she will get closer to them, using all of her gifts to her advantage to use them when needed. As for what she shows other people she is not truly close to, she can only say it’s a small fraction of who she is.

—Description: She has the ability to bend her body into many strange shapes and do handstands and back flips and jump higher than most people.

—Description: Since she has lived alone most of her life, Aithne is very grown up for her age. It means she is able to keep up with those older than her, even by large amounts of time.

—Weakness Name: Looks like a boy
—Description: Although Aithne is female, she look a lot like a boy, meaning that at first glance anyone could get her sex wrong.

—Description: She cannot draw to save her life, often making it impossible to tell what she is making. If she were to draw a dog, it could be mistaken for a circle with legs.

—Description: Aithne cannot bring herself to speak to other people. She’s better when approached, but not by much.

—Description: She is very bad when under pressure. This means she does badly in school and when there is a hard decision to be made.

The Background

History: Aithne was born in Japan, but was adopted by a man and woman who eventually moved to Fiji while she was still a baby. When she was four, her parents got divorced and she moved back to Japan with her father. When she was six, her father started coming home less and less frequently, until she never came back again. Instead of going back to live with her mother, she stayed in Japan. Because of this, she can take care of herself, but lives off of the money that her mother sends her every month. Her father also still sends her money, but she tends to put it away instead of using it.
Realizing early on that she wasn’t popular, or pretty, she instead decided that her brain was the most potent weapon she had. She now finds it easy to manipulate people that she finds useful. Her reasons for using them are her own, and she will probably never explain herself. Given this, she can still form real relationships, but it is unlikely that anyone will understand when a relationship for her is real or fake. The only relationship that is obviously real for her is the one she has with her mother.
