| After a rather long and interesting day, Rianara retreated back to one of the few places where she actually didn't mind company... The Rusty Goose, one of the very few watering-holes down here in the slums, had become somewhat of a refuge for the old android. This was pretty much where she spent her nights, for the most part. The place didn't have too many visitors, but enough of them swung by to at least keep the lights on. The place itself was nothing extravagant, as one would imagine, but being in the more "Well off" part of the slums, the folks owning this joint enjoyed a somewhat higher standard of living than the rest. While the day to day life wasn't easy, it wasn't as much of a struggle as it would be for the overwhelming majority of folks down here. The owners themselves lived on the bottom-end of the Middle ward, hence why their job was located here.
Rianara enjoyed staying here mostly because the people here had a similiar mentality to herself, distrusting of authority, and perhaps the most important part: People actually had a sense of honor and civility around here that the rest of the slums lacked. And she was mostly left alone anyway. No one asked any questions, and no answers were given. It was the perfect place to just... vanish for a few hours.
Sitting at the bar, enjoying a somewhat relaxed conversation with the barkeep, Rianara patiently waited for a certain someone she was positive would show up... There was no way Dale could pass up an opportunity like the one he had been given, and the Rusty Goose was the perfect place to discuss such matters.

| There was, in fact, a way that Dale could pass up the opportunity presented. There were a lot of way, and a lot of reasons, all of which went through his mind on the way to the Rusty Goose. But in the end, there was one thing that took away a lot of the problems he might face. He had an Enkidu. Everyone else didn't.
Dale walks tentatively into the building, and his unfamiliarity with the setting he's now in is fairly clear with the utter lack of ease and comfort with which he moves about with. He was fairly clearly tense, and even with Chip on his shoulder nuzzling against him in an attempt to provide some comfort, he just couldn't relax here. Spotting Rianara, Dale would cautiously set himself down next to her, Chip hopping off his shoulder and onto the bar. The little robo-pup would do little to make a nuisance of himself other than sit in front of Dale, but should the bartender consider trying to move him, he'd find himself stared down by an unnatural and inhuman gaze from the little dog that told him it was a very bad idea to push the matter. Dale wouldn't say anything for a while, until..."How...does this place work?"

| It was quite a relief to see her newfound 'ally' show up at the bar. Not that she had doubted he would show up, but it did mean a lot to her. "Glad you could make it, Dale." Rianaras greeting sounded, much to her own suprize, friendlier than she had intended. Not that she really gave it too much thought, having more pressing matters to attend to. The small leatherbound journal was neatly tucked away under her cloak, away from sight. Perhaps Dale knew something? She wouldn't of course share this with him right now, as she still didn't completely trust the stranger, and of course, the feeling was mutual. But he was the closest she had to a real friend in this world, so she intended on keeping an eye on him, at the very least. Hopefully he wouldn't get too friendly with her though. "Well, its quite simple, really. You just pay the innkeeper, and he'll give you a drink of your choosing. Not much more to it. Alas, I can't really... drink or eat, so I'm mostly here just to pass the time. And a place like this inn is busy enough to keep unwanted eavesdroppers away." Not that the latter was a concern, but it never hurt to be careful. Besides, the inn here had this homey feel to it that Rianara enjoyed.
"Where to even begin..." Rianara said to herself, thinking of a good starting point for this "tutoring" of common sense. But... one thing she should probably ask him first was much more broad, and would give Rianara more of an idea in regards to what she had to work with. "Before we really begin. Dale, mind telling me... how familiar are you with Junction?"

| "...but who's the innkeeper?" Chip found himself in a staring contest with the person in question, the barkeep staring with an almost comical intensity at the little dog...and the dog staring back with a more intense look still that made those who could see rethink just how funny the situation actually was. "What are eavesdroppers? And...how do you stay moving if you can't eat?" It was well known to him that such things were possible at this point, but how - how, eluded him.
He thought, rifling through the records in his mind. He...wasn't sure how to answer that question. "I've been here...6 months...?"
