'Amends' (Vel NPC Thread)

"O-Oh... Uh... Sorry about that, guess I'm just used to suits designed to be lived in."Vel sighed for what felt like the hundreth time today. With little more to say he stood from the bar and placed two well worn bills on the counter. From Azul's guess, they would look to be several decades old, having seen use for quite some time. "Thanks for the drink kid. If you ever want to buy someone another drink hit me up. I've got these though, not like these old scraps of paper will buy me much else these days... Tell your friends I'm thankful to them for everything they've done and to hit me up if they want to buy me a drink. I got a little place over in the hills over there... but I doubt I'll be staying in New Permanence for long."

Vel stood awkwardly for a moment before nodding to himself before leaving the bar. The bartender took the two bills without question and went about his work.

"It's fine." Azul shrugged. The only piece of tech he needed to work was his arm, and it did it's job fine...after some tweaks when it was first attached. "...I'll hit you up sometime, sure." Azul mused, before Fel left. It almost sounded like he didn't want to leave the place...if Azul was a better person he'd probably try talking him out of it. Maybe next time.

'If I ever want to buy someone a drink...? This feels like a bad habit I shouldn't enable...' Azul'd think as he left, that dillema stuck in his head. He'd figure out where to go from there some other time. For now, he was going to head home before it was night.
