Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix) Empty
PostSubject: Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix)   Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix) EmptySat Mar 17, 2018 2:32 am

So like, school was done and that was fucking great. Patricia managed to lay low and not run into the principal again but Mrs. Nolan kept giving her glances like the hammer was coming down. Like that was seriously the worst part, just waiting for it to happen. It wasn't a good day anyway. Patty came to school hungover and then Caitlynn wanted to be a bitch and bring her the fuck down and it was just stupid, y'know? Who even wants to deal with all that drama? Not her, that's why she was here instead of out doing stuff and getting into trouble. Partying was fun and stuff but Patricia had an image to keep and that was the fun girl and you couldn't be the fun girl if you were a straight up bitch so when she got pissed off like she kinda was now she'd just go to the arcade. Not like anyone knew her here except for, y'know, the regulars which she kinda was but she wasn't a pockmarked virgin like they were. Patty just liked games.

At the moment she surprisingly wasn't at the dance game like she usually was, she didn't have it in her. Like she was kinda woozy and sluggish and shit but still pissed off, probably a bad idea to sell her blood but hey it made money so fuck it right? No, Patricia had set herself firmly into one of the shooting games and was hogging the hell out of it with the infinite quarters cheat a.k.a. a slug with some dental floss through it and some shitty pizza and non-brand soda. To be honest she needed the calories back or she was probably gonna pass out. Should've taken the cookies at the blood bank but she didn't feel like sweet shit and almost hit the floor on the way out. Pssh, like that was gonna stop her.

Clack-clack-clack-clack-clack-clack!

Screams and moans came from the machine as the delinquent blew the heads off of terrorists, dual-wielding the guns as she smacked her mouth on a stick of gum to keep even more sugar in her system. Didn't compare to killing monsters but it's not like they came out in the daytime anyway. She'd get her chance.

Beatrix was frankly getting exhausted of being lost by the point she'd reached the arcade. She left the school, somehow ended up on the other side of town, then got lost again and frankly didn't feel like going home yet so she meandered for about an hour, her having to just walk away from a couple guys here and there, her being too passive to tell them off. Normally she wouldn't mind the attention, but even she had standards, very low ones but still, and was not going to put up with any nonsense when she didn't even know a way to get home. She entered the arcade, her face hiding her annoyance aside from the occasional eye twitch on rare intervals.

She looked over to the shooter, noticing that someone was hogging the machine. Beatrix was never interested in those types of games, but this seemed like an interesting situation. She looked over to the girl playing intently, carefully waiting for some fail state or break in the action as she approached her as closely as possible, her feeling a bit annoyed and bored, that maybe the solution was to talk to someone to get her mind off things, and she didn't want to deal with an awkward person since her facade was pretty damn close to shattering at this point, her not wanting to unleash the hell that was her bad side unto the world.

BANG BA-BANG B-B-BANG AAAAAUUUUURGH!!

The screams and gunfire were kind of satisfying not gonna lie. She could see why, like, neckbeard virgins devoted their lives to this kind of stuff. But not on the couch. That was kinda dumb. The best games were where you actually did something like aim a gun and pull the trigger instead of staring dead-faced into a screen. It was kinda therapeutic almost. At least it kept her from, like, smashing windows or some shi- heeeeeeeeey. That's not a bad idea. Like, that would be wicked sick to temp at a junkyard breaking down cars and smashing shit for funzies, it'd be a job she could actually enjoy instead of something stupid like retail. She had a shift that night she couldn't blow off again or like maybe she could considering her deal with her shift manager. Probably not good to poke that bear but she had an out if she needed it. Maybe a whole day skip if she really wanted to press it but hey, better to play it safe y'know? Patricia bowed closer to the machine to take a long sip from her fountain drink from the straw to get more calories in her system, not taking her focus away from the game. Today fuckin' sucked, yo. Her head couldn't stop hurting and all the aspirin in the world didn't make it go away. To be perfectly honest the noisy arcade probably wasn't the best place for her to be when she had a migraine but she felt like it so whatever. Should've gone home and taken a nap or some shit.

Anyway she'd probably stop at this game or something, it was getting hard to function and all the zombies or fuckin' whatever in the world she was shooting in the face wasn't about to make the pain stop. That was until she felt a presence behind her. Y'know that hanging feeling you get when someone's standing right the fuck there? Yeah that was it. Patty didn't really wanna deal with people bogarding her machine so she'd ignore them for a bit, maybe they'd see she was in a game and go away. But the tension quickly got to her. She felt her body tighten up and the hair on her neck prickle as she just imagined him, some stupid geek in a flame shirt or some shit just breathing down her neck. Whatever. It lasted for a few minutes or maybe a lot shorter than that with her patience but Patricia wouldn't take it for much longer than she'd need to.

"Yo you want it? Take it," would be all the warning the girl got as the thuggish chick casually tossed the gun in her left hand over her shoulder. Patricia didn't even take her focus away from the game, switching to a two-handed grip as she continued to blast things with bullets. If she didn't catch it the gun would clatter loudly to the ground but it didn't matter if she caught it or not. Not to Patty. She still had half her Life left on her current player and a lot of those hits weren't about to go to her, not on the right screen. That was what was so good about dual-wielding: more Life gauge you could use to just soak hits with and you could just clear a side and keep yourself safe. It'd be like cheating if it totally wasn't.

Beatrix stepped next to the girl, taking the gun silently as she faintly smiled, both her wits coming to an end from stress and a whole host of issues crashing down upon her constantly, her pushing them down as they arise each time. She shot an imaginary round into each thing she hated about herself. Depression, loneliness, her hollow personality, her shallow desires, all of it. She used to have fun playing these kinds of games when she was a kid, it was a way to help her through these issues and keep her honest, though she stopped when she was told it was hurting her social status, her only grip of control she had over anything in life. That was gone now. She had nothing to her the more she thought of it, she was afraid of anyone knowing. The person next to her never faded like the rest of her perceivable environment.

She felt an odd sense of comfort in that. Her face never displayed anything more than a slight frown and a look in her eye that would read to anyone as honestly frustrated and angry at the world. She wanted to go back home and just blend in again. It'd be easier and she wouldn't have to think. She kept shooting and avoiding the shots in her direction, eventually feeling the silence consume her as she started to speak so she wouldn't think more than she already was. "Hey..what's your name?" She asked in a flat tone, a tinge of annoyance in her voice veiled under her usual somewhat upbeat facade, it very easy to see through at this point, her truly at the end of her wits.

BANGBANG BA-BANG BANG click click cli-

RELOAD

KRA-KOOOOOOM!

"Fffffffuck." Stupid freakin', suicide zombies and shit, freakin' hokey bullshit there's too many of them to get them all in the head before they get to you. Patricia grit her teeth as she lost a good third of her Life gauge from one dumb hit that slipped through the cracks. The Butchers were at least manageable with a machine gun but she didn't have shotgun rounds for the suicide ones and she was saving her rocket ammo for the boss fight. Also there was stuff going on in the real world too.

Shockingly enough it wasn't some Dew-guzzling fedora-wearing cheesebeard that was breathing down her neck to get at her shooting game, it was another chick. Which was weird 'cause most girls didn't go to the arcade in the first place. 'Cept the losers that played the strategy games. And the basic bitches that came to dance. And Patty who pretty much did everything as long as it involved moving because screw sitting down to play games that was stupid. She didn't look like a geek, she was too pretty and stylish and like, probably bathed more than once a week and shit. So it was like strange but it wasn't exactly unwelcome, better than some desperate freak trying some shit because m'lady's a gamer girl I am unworthy. To be perfectly honest she sorta wished that would happen so she could rip someone apart in public. That'd be fun. Patty was certainly pissed off enough to do it too. Games could be fun to mess around with sometimes but the whole "gaming" thing as a whole was retarded. The delinquent didn't think it should be a source of pride to label yourself as a brand consumer whore and advertise that you don't do anything with your life. They were time wasters, she liked to waste time. That was it.

Fucking headache god dayum. Anyway it got weirder, like, new chick looked like she was gonna straight merc a bitch. Sounded like it too. Whatever. Patricia did not feel like dealing with a cat fight. If she had a problem with her she'd say something and get sit the hell down.
"Patty," she said simply, scooping a slice of pizza into her mouth with one hand as she tilted her gun to the side to re-up ammo.
"Hey hwen the dorf comsh up tak the paff o' the righ' ish got healf." The thuggish girl spoke with her mouth full as she attempted to blow off heads and eat pizza with sometimes one and mostly no hands, at least until she got to the crust. Seriously who thought giving blood would be so tiring. She could feel the heartbeat in her knees.
"*gulp* ...Oh yeah and save some machine gun for the boss room he throws like 6 pussballs at you at a time and if you don't shoot them all you'll die."

Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix)   Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix) EmptyTue Mar 20, 2018 7:37 pm

"Thanks, will do. I'm Beatrix." She heeded Patty's advice, taking it with full belief, her reaping all the benefits that Patty seemed to know fairly well. It made her wonder how much the girl played this game, or if someone told her all this. Knowing the types that usually wandered in here though, it wouldn't surprise her if she never spoke a word to them. Hell, they weren't even worth her time, let alone her thoughts. She tilted the gun upwards between waves of enemies so the clip would always be full because video game logic, mostly getting good with the obligatory unlimited ammo pistol, her finger's rapid clicks of the trigger just enough for the game to register it without fully pulling it in order to do more damage than probably intended. This was a trick she found when she was younger back home, her expecting most games that use these guns to have the same kind of flaws behind them as they did when she was younger. She understood the purpose behind the basic weapon having unlimited ammo however, knowing some braindead monkey would make the game unwinnable without it. Besides, it was a video game, and they're made for fun, not realism. She also figured the same for why if you reload the gun when it still had ammo, the ammo from the previous clip ejected was not lost.

"Also you ok? You sound a bit drained.." Beatrix didn't like to assume things about people, but she figured that the kind of girl that actively goes to these places is either really socially awkward or some issues that need violently addressing. At least that's what her life experience always taught her, her being the latter at some point as she was now. She was practically waiting for the boss room, the enemy placement getting sparser as the path kept going.

Die die die die die DIIIIIEEEEE.

Heads exploded in showers of gore as guts rained down the screen. Patricia's trigger finger kept clicking away at everything that moved, blowing holes in all that stood before her and putting off going to work for another 20 minutes. Her headache sucked people sucked ZOMBIES FUCKING SUCKED FUCK YOU ZOMBIES EAT A DICK AND DIE GAWD. She was mostly pissed off about her headache and nothing she'd do would make it stop. Mindless self indulgence didn't make it stopped. Ignoring it didn't make it stop. Aspirin didn't make it stop so she was almost out of ideas. Patty'd probably chug cough syrup when she got to work for the night, if anything she could mix it with something. Hard to feel your head hurt when you couldn't feel your face. But the more they slayed the further they went and the easier it got. Thank god too, the flashes of gunfire were searing her retinas. Wouldn't stop her though. The new girl was pretty good at least she knew what to do even if she sounded like she was gonna fucking murder someone. At least for like a bit then she chilled out a lot. Whatever, she probably took out her aggression like she did and killed virtual people instead of real people. That was cool she guessed. Patty preferred to play mind games and see how far they went but hey, different strokes for different folks.

"*sluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurp* phaaa okay so the boss is coming up, he's gonna use some cheapo move where he throws a train at you and then punches you so make sure you re-up when the train explodes," she said, preparing for the inevitable assault. The grotesque being broke it's way through the bay door, shaking it's misshapen head on its elongated neck as it snarled at them. Patricia grit her teeth but didn't fire, it couldn't take damage until the eye on its chest was open and that wasn't going to happen until the train hit. Like clockwork the train flew at the pair in slow motion. The delinquent dumped all the rounds she could into it and watched as the train car exploded before them...
...and suddenly from the smoke came its first attack of pussballs that she was too busy switching to her rocket launcher to shoot down. Patricia took three hits and her side of the screen bloodied and began flashing numbers.

Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix) JCPREcZ

"Are you fucking serious right now!? What the FUCK was that!? Dumbass piece of shit zombie fuck you eat shit!"

Patricia's outburst left her fuming and growling for a few good seconds likely letting Beatrix know exactly which type of girl she was to play violent video games.
"Pssssh, whatever..." The thuggish chick leaned down to the quarter slot to fit her slug on, letting it tip the trigger before yanking it back out by the thread she'd wound it by. It took her like three tries but she got an extra life without paying for it. The dull ache thudded through her brain as she raised her gun again. Lost her freakin' rocket launcher when she died fuckin' suuuuuuuuuck.

Friendship is Gratuitous Violence (Patricia & Beatrix) Thinki11

"Yeah I'm fine. Why?"

Her temperate immediately dropped to a casual one as she lied through her teeth. To be honest Patricia didn't want to get into it, she didn't think Beatrix would give a shit even if she told her and she didn't wanna start something. Besides it was totally whatever on a large scale, like her head hurt so what? She wasn't dying and junk just kinda praying for it.
