Did you ever think that you might be better off this way?

Alister let go of a pensive breath as he ducked under the police tape. He had been in the middle of a mountain of paperwork that would put the BioDome to shame when he had gotten the call that he was needed in the Civilian district of Middle Ward immediately. He had been told over the phone that it would take far longer to explain then it would to simply come see for himself. So, exchanging his pen for his pistol, Alister made for the civilian district's C layer park, a popular destination for couples and off duty police chiefs... Not that he was ever off duty.

"Sir!" A group of JPD officers stood near the entrance to the park. "Sorry to call you away on such short notice so early in the morning but,well... we-uh"

"Out with it." Alister knew that neither he nor this officer had the time for delay. Junction was a big city, and they needed to resolve this fast so he could get them back on the streets.

"J-Just follow me..." The officer quickly turned and headed into the park, simply expecting Alister to follow. For a moment, this irked him, however he quickly let go of this to refocus on the task at hand. Though, he could not help but wonder what had everyone so shook up.
