| Lights and action. Noise and excitement. The Festival Strip was full of tons of little distractions and a lot of things to take your attention away from what was important. Like your wallet. Or your purse. Or the job Patty was supposed to be doing. It was tons more fun to shoot at balloons with an air rifle than be on the lookout for pickpockets. Like she would recognize a Demon if she saw one in the crowd anyway. Well... yeah actually, not many other people could see them and they looked freaky as fuck. She'd just pay attention to the nine foot tall horned thing walking around. But no seriously she was paying attention. Sort of. Patricia had managed to at least figure out that the monster would be here because personally? This was a good spot to hit. Not that she would. But seriously it made sense. This place was busy. This place was distracting. This place was close to that tea house that people liked to drink at and drunks were easy targets. But most importantly anyone coming here had to have some dollars dude. Games cost money, food costs money, and the little trinkets and junk were pricy too. Most people would have probably shopped around the markets for a while before the festival started anyway, no one shows up broke as a fucking joke just to watch some lame dancers and some fireworks or some shit. In a place like this it'd be stupid easy to disappear in, so Patty had to be extra vigilant and pay attention. Although it was fun to play games and screw around she always kept on alert, aware that she was also a potential target. So she played it up and made herself an easy one. She carried herself in high spirits and acted as if her attention was focused on the shows and games. She had random conversations with strangers and involved herself. Sure it was fun but it also gave her a cover, it wasn't obvious she was looking for anyone. The delinquent was indistinguishable from the other festival goers. And like y'know fuck it if she didn't find anyone the night wasn't a waste, she could just screw around some more. Patricia lit a cigarette and found a good place away from others where she could observe from the outside. Hitting someone alone was obviously a bad idea, you had a better chance of getting caught because you could be clearly seen and your mark would be more likely to know that someone was there if they weren't close to anyone, people stayed on high alert that way. In a group though you were fucked. Chaos, people bumping into each other, something to distract you, everyone's view is blocked, large groups were fuckin' easy as pie. Not that she would know. Patty never pickpocketed anyone ever. Not at all. | |

| James enters the festival, and looks around for the demon, seeing all the people, and the games and the stalls. Seeing all the crowded people there, he deduced that this would be the best place to look for the demon... And maybe get some nice festive food while he was at it. | |

| Unfortunately, the party would not be able to find the demon they were looking for nor were they able to see if Raidou Kuzunoha was around. But if they had one consolation, it was that they had a chance to enjoy the daily festivities Little Tokyo had to offer... | |
