Practice Day (Joey/Open)

It was hardly embarrassing that she was practicing her kendo outside of club. It wasn't today, but she had managed to grab a boken from stock to take home with her to practice with. She was unbelievably horrid with a sword to her, which was probably an exaggeration, but nonetheless, she had to get better whether she was good or not. No matter how good you are, you can still be cut down and beaten given the proper situation. She was holding her boken making a bit sloppy stances making swings at the cold air in front of her, her breath visible from the cold air. She always loved the cold, but her stupidity of being athletic in weather that constricts breathing could have gone better.

She continued to make different strikes, which any novice of kendo could see were very standard. Strikes to the ground from high, strikes from either side at a drawing stance, which was turning her body sideface, and striking, and many other moves. She also had taken a stick she found that was long enough to sort of simulate a naginata so she could practice with that. The stick was long, but seemed very frail. Soon, she would set the boken down and sit down taking a massive breather, the cold not helping with her athletics. 'Why the hell did I pick today to actually train...?' she thought.

Joey went outside to draw to cool his mind out. During his drawing of the school he saw a girl traning. He Saw the traning of a girl. He thought of an idea" What if I draw her traning in Manga form, yeah she will love it" he sit down and begin to draw her traning. He want to make her awesome in manga drawing and might write a story about this drawing and sell it in the school and everyone will love it.

She had noticed a boy starting to draw her as she trained. She didn't oppose it per se, just a bit off to do it without asking. As she sat down taking a breather, she looked at this boy. He seemed, a bit average. Nothing special, but he clearly liked to draw as he was still drawing even as she sat down. "Wouldn't you want to ask first before you are drawing me? How do I know you aren't drawing bad pictures of me?" she said giving a friendly giggle. It didn't really bother her, almost flattering that he had to pay attention to her detail....yet it was all too similar to how boys normally treated her anyway. So maybe she just grew immune to all the stares, and questions, and everything else. She took out what was left of her lunch that she never ate, a half a sandwich of just butter. She sometimes really liked the plain things, as nasty as it seemed, it was pleasant enough for her to enjoy. "So what are you doing, drawing me for?" she asked.

Joey stop drawing and said to her" Ah, I am sorry, I am Joey Yamamoto member of the Anime club and I am drawing you for a story that I am writing about you" Joey smile and said to her" Yeah, umm i am not that type of a dude that will do that to you, a very nice and calm girl" Joey was done drawing her and show it to her. He said to her" So how do you like your drawing, it is good for your liking?"

She looked at the boy. Joey eh? "A story? One would think you would want to learn about me first before you write," she said laughing a bit. What an odd boy. "Complimenting me when you have just met me, you are quite bold," she said. She didn't really think he was being bold, probably just being nice, as awkward as he was. She would look at him then to his drawing when he showed it. It....was alright. She wasn't a very good artist herself, but it isn't like it was bad, it just didn't seem to stick out to her. "Not bad," she said. She would look at her lunch and continue to eat it focused on the flavor of her food, enjoying all of it.

Joey Smile and put his Note pad down near him. " Thank you, I am going to use you as a base for a Charther that I going to make for the story, then turn it into a manga and then sell it to the school so everyone can read my work." He was thinking about something before he say it to the girl. "So you are in the Kendo club am I right, if you don't know how to draw I can try to teach you how to draw my self, how that?"
