Champagne appears as a young man with blonde hair and red eyes. He has a toned body that is rather pale despite how often he spends out in the sun. He stands at 5’ 10’’ and weighs 130 lbs. He wears very little clothing, often only being found in shorts, sandals, and a cloak that he wears to seem somewhat decent when people come around to visiting him.

Due to his race, however, he can’t wear much clothes due to his body breathing through his skin. Due to this, to avoid suffocating himself and appearing more presentable to public when not in the Aquatic Bio Dome, he carries a holographic projector that allows him to appear as if he were wearing clothes. However, due to the low quality of the projector, he does look slightly different when using the hologram. His hair will appear slightly darker than normal, closer to orange than the usual blonde, as well as his eyes appearing closer to a pink than the usual red. Outside of this, nothing else changes about him despite some minor facial changes that could confuse a person into thinking he’s a different person if they don’t look hard enough.
Personality:
Champagne is a very laid back and calm person. He doesn’t like the hustle and bustle of most of Junction and prefers the wide, quiet, and open seas that he calls his home. He finds annoyances and troubles not worth getting into, as they block his enjoyment of life. Peace is something that he seeks fervently, a happy smile always on his face as he does his best to lighten the mood and avoid stress. He prefers the simple things in life, enjoying nature and music as well as alcohol… And lots of it. Regardless, he’s a happy soul that simply wishes to enjoy life without any stress.
He’s a very calm and cool person when faced with strife though, often doing his best to cool down anyone with a heated head. While he ardently seeks a life without strife, he knows most of the world doesn’t share his views and so does his best to help his friends not get too much into trouble. However, he will leave those he finds too heated. While one might consider him quite loyal, his true loyalty lies in his own happiness and search for peace and not to those that would threaten his own personal goals.
Outside of this, Champagne is known to have a rather unhappy past. While he doesn’t like to bring it up, his earnest search for a peaceful and happy life is due to the rather poor upbringing he had on his home world. It’s because of this that he seeks his impossible goal of perpetual happiness and peace, and refuses to do anything that would harm this ideal.

—Description: Champagne drinks a lot, more than what could be considered. Yet he appears to be quite used to the alcohols he drinks, thus why he is sometimes called Boozy. Because of this, he has a 15% resistance to the Poison ailment.

—Description: Champagne enjoys grilling at his beach hut, often times cooking a freshly caught fish or some freshly picked fruits. This expertise with fire gives Champagne a 5% boost to his Fire spells.
—Strength Name: Crappy Holographic Clothes
—Description: Champagne has access to a holographic module that can make it appear as if he is wearing clothes. However, due to the low quality of the model it alters his appearance slightly. This can be used to his advantage in some cases as the alterations to his facial features can make some believe he is a different person. However, it only takes a really good eye to see through the façade.
—Strength Name: Tomato Juice
—Description: Champagne is a master at mixing drinks and knows just the perfect remedy for a hangover! However, his tomato juice cocktail can do more than just clear your head of fogginess… Or, that’s what it’s specifically good at doing. Champagne is affected by the Panic Ailment one less turn than usual.
—Strength Name: Beach Bumming
—Description: Champagne knows how to relax, it’s just in his nature to take things slow and steady. You could say that he sways like the palm trees that the wind blows. Because of this, his Wind spells are 5% more effective.

—Description: Champagne’s race has the unique ability to breathe through their skin. This allows them to absorb oxygen from any environment they are currently in as long as there is enough oxygen to support their body. Because of this, Champagne is very proficient at utilizing spells that are very closely related to Oxygen, allowing him a 15% boost to his Fire and Wind spells.

—Description: Champagne has never been one to handle fright well. Even though he tries to keep a cool head, being afraid is something that he finds specifically hard to calm down from. The Fear ailment has a 15% more likely chance to be inflected upon Champagne.
—Weakness Name: Easily Frosted
—Description: Even though Champagne loves the water and the sea, ice is a different story. Due to the attire he is forced to wear, the cold can be quite intolerable and so he avoids it when he can. Ice spells are 5% more effective on Champagne.
—Weakness Name: Crappy Holographic Clothes
—Description: The model of hologram projector Champagne has is full of flaws and errors. For instance, the hologram projector can’t be exposed to any form of extreme heat, cold, or get wet or else it will short circuit. It also has a very poor battery life and takes forever to recharge, only allowing Champagne to use its effects once every OOC week for a plot related thread or an NPC thread.

—Description: Champagne adores beautiful things and, to be frank, is a sucker for anyone he finds beautiful at first sight. Even if he might eventually leave this person, he has never stopped loving a beautiful person he met. Because of this, Champagne is affected by the Charm ailment a turn longer than normal.
—Weakness Name: Lazy Life
—Description: Because of Champagne’s laid back attitude and posture, he very rarely sees a point in keeping his guard up. Because of this, rocks just hurt more than they really should… Earth spells are 5% more effective on Champagne.

—Description: Because of Champagne’s unique ability to breathe through his skin, he is very easily suffocated. Wearing too much clothes is the equivalent to choking him. Because of this, elements that can be used to cover his body are extremely effective on him. Earth and Ice spells are 15% more effective on Champagne.

The Background
|
History:
Champagne spent the majority of his life on his home world of Boeur. His home world was one that was intricately connected with nature as they needed large amounts of oxygen to breath. Because of this, their world’s natural growth thrived and it was said there was no fresher air in the known universe than Boeur’s. But, because of their peaceful ways, the Taila who called Boeur their home had very little mechanical prowess and had virtually no military presence. Because of this, Boeur was a target for its natural resources and quickly became under the control of the mass military empire known as the Culic.
The Culic’s military campaign was a short one as the Taila were forced to surrender or face genocidal extinction. With no way to retaliate, the Taila were enslaved and forced into lives of servitude. Champagne’s mother, Chardonnay, was one such slave that had found herself working for a Culic general who was stationed on Boeur to oversee the transportation of slaves back to their home world. Chardonnay was little more than a play thing for the general, used for sexual pleasures and entertainment. However, the Taila weren’t without a voice. Being forced to work closely with other slaves of her kind, Chardonnay created a rebellious movement to help pioneer a voice for her kind. Soon Chardonnay killed the general she was enslaved under and with the help of the other slaves, was able to take over the slave compound in the matter of a few days.
This led to the Boeur rebellion that slowly turned into a full-fledged war against the Culic empire. Chardonnay became the head of the Taila Rebellion and was a revered woman for her strength, confidence, and wits. Her presence on the battlefield was said to rally the Taila to go above and beyond than what was thought was capable. Chardonnay soon had a child with an unknown Tailan man, Champagne being brought into a world of war and conflict. He grew up very sheltered, a child hidden behind the walls of taken over fortresses or kept far away from any Culic compounds or bases. However, despite Chardonnay’s best intentions, Champagne was eventually caught by the Culic empire and tortured horrendously to try and extract any information out of him. When they eventually found out he knew nothing, he was given to the head of the Boeur slavers as a prize. Here, he was treated as his mother was; little more than a sex toy and entertainer.
Eventually, Champagne was saved by his mother and the rebellion, but this did little to save the boy’s scarred mind. He had been a slave for years, and being returned to his people only made him appear as a figurehead in the rebellion. He grew to hate violence, war, and especially the rebellion and empire. He didn’t want to be part of anything that was currently happening on his world, and so fled in the middle of the night in hopes to escape the war. However, his mother had followed him, doing her best to try and bring him back home. However, Junction had found itself on Boeur and it provided Champagne the perfect chance to escape. With little more than a bitter goodbye, Champagne fled into Junction leaving his stunned mother behind on their planet. He was there for a few days on his planet, taking the time to gather some things from his home world before creating a home for himself in the aquatic bio dome. He didn’t even flinch when his world soon faded away as a new one took its place. He finally achieved his wish, a complete escape from the war he was forced into.
With freedom in his grasp, Champagne built a livelihood for himself in the two years’ time he began spending in Junction. His home eventually became a bar and grill found on a remote beach in the Aquatic bio dome. Here he currently lives off the land and treats all who come to his home to good drinks and food. With all that in mind, he seeks a life of pure peace and happiness, finding his self-indulgent and relaxed life the ideal way to live. However, he isn’t without being plagued by guilt and the horrors of his past. If he’ll truly find peace in his life is yet to be known, however, it’s safe to say he’ll do anything to reach that goal.
