(After School) A Chance Encounter [Hono]

With her first week of classes almost nearing it's end, TYPE-0 (T.0.) feels like she has learned a few new things about being human; however, the social complexities and hierarchy can still easily confuse her.

After being dismissed from class, T.0. watches how all the other students look so eager to leave and quickly split off into group, marching with purpose. Besides teachers and students involved with extracurricular, the halls were relatively dead by the time T.0. emerged from the classroom. She looks around and turns to the stairs, climbing to the top floor. In the corner of hallway, the student sees a door being held open with a broom. After approaching, she realizes this is the door to the roof. Deciding to explore, T.0. walks onto the concrete top of her school. On the ground below, she could see the remaining students lingering around the school, out far in the distance she could see the rest of them going about their way into the city.

T.0. takes a seat on the curb of the roof, resting her legs on top as well. She turns her head to the left to continue watching the students. They were all laughing and talking amongst themselves. Farther away she could see the sports teams practicing, and can faintly hear their yelling.

"I do not understand."

T.0. has began to see what it is humans do, but a new question has emerged... why?

Hono walked out of class happily. She wanted to go home and finish the homework she had. She took a quick stop at the one room she loved. The Drama room, entering she was given a quick task. Check the roof for some extra props that they had stored. She was given a set of keys. She didn't want to do the task but did anyway. With a heavy sigh, she put the key's in her bag and rushed up the stairs making a lot of noise with her heavy steps. Seeing that the door was propped open made her shrug. The pink hair girl opened the door quickly.

What she saw was a girl with dark skin and blondish hair. She couldn't think of the exact color on the top of her head. She glanced over to the left to see the prop. A small mask, "Are you kidding me... Just a mask!" She said angrily. "Making me waste my time!" She scooped up the mask and looked at the other girl. "Helllllo?" she asks never seeing the girl around. "Who are you?" The freshmen asked rubbing her neck softly. "Don't think I've seen you around.."

A rumble could be heard behind T.0., as she looks over and sees the steel door whip open. A young girl emerges, she seems to be doing something. The unknown girl brings attention to a storage closet in the corner. T.0. watches her as she pulls a mask out and exclaims about the finding. The android was a little confused, but was able to get her head around the situation. The girl addresses T.0. with a traditional human introduction. For some reason, Nina was not expecting to be noticed, and this was probably shown on her face. She had felt invisible while watching the students from above. Returning to reality, T.0. responds.

"...I just enrolled."

The android adjusted her posture, and turned herself towards the girl, sitting with both her legs squared. She notices the girl's hair, she had not seen that color before on a person. It was the same color as her phone she got with Frog. Forgetting to tell the girl her name, T.0. asks as question

"Your hair... I like it..." As she points her finger at the girls pink hair.

Hono slipped the mask into her bag making sure not the bend the mask to keep it in good shape. She placed her bag down against the wall, Pushing some hair out of her face walking towards to the girl as she turned around. Her face got a little pink hearing her complement her hair. Though the girl dodging her question did get her a little annoyed. She cleared her throat. A lot of things crossed her mind, Who was the girl? Why hasn't she seen her? They would come up later

"I'm new as well" The girl let out a sigh glad she wasn't alone it felt weird going back to school but of course Hono knew she must go.

"I'm Hono Kaen..."  The actor let out her voice in a happy tone. It was good to see someone new, though she seemed weird. "What are you doing up here?" She asks a little confused. Her tone changed to a little angry. "What's your name?" She crossed her arms and gave the girl a look, it was rather cold much like a mother gave when she disciplined her child or when someone scalded a dog.

"Hono..."

T.0. stares at the girls face, memorizing it and attaching the name to it. The android lowers her guard a little. It was only up because she did not know the intentions of this new girl, Hono. T.0. continued to sit, with her back straight and hands locked together in her lap.

"...That is actually a good question..." She pauses for a few seconds and places her hand on her chin. "I think I'm just bored."

The android was not sure if she was bored or not. She did not really know what the feeling was like, but assuming from what she has seen in the past, she figured to have used the word correctly. T.0. rests her hands on her sides gently, after answering the first question.

Hono's tone switches to a more demanding one, causing T.0. to jump just a little. Putting her guard back up, she stiffens her arms. So was this girl mad at T.0.? The android wonders what she could've done to bother Hono so much.

"I'm Nina... Nina Erdeli."

She waits for Hono's next move, while assessing the situation.

"Bored?" The girl was confused. "You think?" Hono sighed and crossed her arm and looked at the girl studying her as well, though not as fast as the stranger. 'Nina...She seems weird but I kinda like her, not annoying like most.' The girl smiled once she finished thinking. It was relaxing to not have work to do in class.

"If you're bored we can...hang out." The girl suggests leaving an awkward pause in between, she had never asked anyone to hang out since she moved in, and that was a few years ago. "There is a lot of things in Suzie Q!" She said happily, "I think it'll be fun," she fixed her hair moving it out of her hair again, man her hair was cute but she hated to fix it.
