Avian Acquaintances [Ace]

The Forest Bio Dome was a breath of fresh air for Gisèle both figuratively and literally. From the sounds of the birds chirping that brushed up against her ear to the sight of the lush vegetation that filled the area as far as the eye could see, it was undeniable that the place had an unearthly beauty to it that was only enhanced by the unpredictable physiology of the organisms that roamed it. It was astonishing to see that a place so beautiful was open to the public without any stipulations. Were she more naive, that fact might have made her second-guess her assumptions and assessments about the true nature of Junction, but all the dazzle and thinly painted-on generosity were transparently a bid to keep the masses complacent. If something this breathtaking wasn't reserved for those at the top than whatever was up there had to be ten times as luxurious.

Still, it was a pretty spectacle nonetheless. Apparently some people even lived in it, but she couldn't imagine taking up residence here even putting aside her roots. Whoever occupied this habitat were in all likelihood the more animalistic citizens of the city who were unable to (or uninterested in) adjusting to the Middle Ward. As obvious as that was, it did make her a bit curious: if the non-sapient animals walking around were so varied in their appearance than what did the thinking ones look like? It was food for thought.

As Gisèle continued to quietly observe the surrounding area, she'd notice something flying above her and around some nearby trees. At first, she wasn't quite sure what it was considering how far off in the distance it was. Could it be a bird? It certainly wasn't a plane at least... or was it? She had seen some ridiculous things in the city, so a living plane flying around a forest wasn't necessarily impossible despite how nonsensical something like that would be. Whatever the case, it wouldn't take long for her questions to be answered as "it" came closer into view and she recognized a humanoid figure. It seemed a man was flying around the area, although the pitch-black wings he was using to soar around made it somewhat unclear as to what he was. Maybe he was one of those Splicers she had been hearing so much about? Either that or it was possible he just came from a species which naturally had them.

Whatever the case, it was an interesting sight, although she didn't think too much of it considering the manifold races that populated the city and the distinct appearances that many of its inhabitants possessed. Turning her attention mostly back to the biodome itself, Gisèle would swiftly scale a short tree nearby and take a seat atop one of its more sizeable branches in an effort to get a better vantage point. In spite of her shift of focus though, she'd still give the avian man some attention, and should he turn his sight to where she was he'd notice a cyan-haired woman waving in his direction.
