| Kisugi Watari "I am a Shadow... the true self. Now come at me if you wanna DIE!"
The Biography
|
Birth Name: Kisugi Watari Aliases: None Gender: Male Age: 18 years old Birth Day: October 2nd Arcana: Tower Place of Residence: Little Tokyo Academy Semester: Third Year Class:
Sorority: Boxing Team
Part/Full Time Job: Cook; Yamada Diner
Base & Transformed Appearance: Base; In his base form, Kisugi looks like an average boy of 18. He is quite tall at 6'2" and 196 lbs. He also has spiky black hair and piercing green eyes. He has a cocky, relaxed demeanor, a confident smirk usually on his face. He is a boxer, and so he has a lean, muscular frame from his training. On the back of his head, hidden mostly by his hair, is a scar from a canoe accident when he was younger.
True Form; In his true form, Kisugi becomes an absolute monster. He grows in size to become a gargantuan 15 feet tall. His bottom half morphs into something similar to a twisted lion from hell with veins of lava running up his legs from his cracked and bleeding claws. The top part of his body is more human-like upon first glance. However, upon closer inspection, his skin looks to be made of obsidian, with the faint orange glow of lava running like rivers through his skin. His face is also obsidian-like and frozen in an eternal scowl, a mane of fire around his neck. Kisugi's muscles bulge to incredible proportions in this form.
Personality: Kisugi is a confident (though some might say cocky) individual. He believes himself to be a man of great talent, and he certainly acts like it. Kisugi has dreams of being a five star chef, so he takes great pride in his ability to cook. If someone dares insult his food or his ability as a chef, he is liable to chew them out. While Kisugi exudes confidence in his cooking and about life in general, he is in fact quite insecure. He worries about his own self-worth, working his ass off to prove to himself that he truly is a man one can aspire to be.

The Background
|
History: Kisugi was born to Aya and Kenshin Watari and is the oldest of three children. They lived a life of comfort in the city, his father having a wel-paying job as a software engineer. His mother stayed at home to take care of them. They were by no means rich, but the decent check Kisugi's father brought in was enough to make sure there was always plenty of food and everyone had what they needed. Though he worked long hours, Kenshin Watari was a good father, always finiding time to spend with his kids. Every summer, during summer break, they would even go on camping trips, floating down the river in a canoe or fishing off the dock.
It was during this time of jubilation that the worst event of the young man's life occurred. It was early in the evening on one of these trips, the sun just about to set. Kisugi was 12 at this time. The family had been canoeing all day. Everyone else wanted to go back to camp and eat, but Kisugi wanted to go one last time before dark, so his father agreed to take him out one more time. While on the river, they took a wrong turn into some rapids.
Kisugi was not strong enough to fight the current, and so their cane tipped rather easily. The young boy hit his head on several rocks as he tumbled through the water, unconcious and drowning. He was saved by his father, who managed to lift him up onto a rock in the middle of the river before the current overtook him. Kisugi survived, but his father was dead. He spent weeks in the hospital recovering. Those blows to the head nearly killed him and gave him mild brain damage, but he survived and made almost a complete recovery.
Kisugi took his father's death hard, blaming himself for what happened. His whole demeanor changed. He started to rebel, act tough, and he became much more driven. When Kisugi was 13, his mother began to waste away from a mysterious illness. Medication could keep her alive for awhile, but he would die evetually. From that day forward, Kisugi was in charge of the house.
He cleaned, cooked, worked, paid bills, took care of the kids, and took care of his mom. All by himself. When he was 16, Kisugi got a job at a diner in Little Tokyo. Yamada's Diner, it was called. The owner, Otto Yamada, knew Kisugi's mother, so he gave him a job as a cook. It was because of this job that Kisugi discovered his love of cooking.
He works there to this day, but simply as a stepping stone to something much greater; being a five star chef that is written about in all the most popular cooking magazines! As well as all the fame and fortune that comes with it.
