Bellum Custos:
Bellum Custos "War....I'm sick of it. Now I just want to coexist."
The Biography
Birth Name: Bellum Custos (War Guardian) Aliases: Et Canis Rabidi (The Mad Dog) (War nickname from Suscitat Rixas.) Gender: Male Age: 33 Birth Day: December 30th Species/Race Name: Excelsum Humane (High Human) Species/Race that you have been spliced with: Lupus Hominum (Wolf Human) Original Homeworld Name: Suscitat Rixas (Strife) Arcana: Chariot (Arcana types can be found here.) Place of Residence: The Middle Ward Core (Where does your character live?) Academy Semester: (Are you a first, second, or third year in school? Note: Age is not the main factor in what year of school you are in on Junction) Class: (We'll fill this in once you're approved. This will be your class in school)
Part/Full Time Job: Construction Worker (Do you have a job? If so, put it here. It can be completely custom or you can work in one of the various locations put on the board. This is optional. All jobs give you the same amount of money when you're working them.)
Appearance:
Bellum Custos:
Bellum stands to be 7 feet tall, a giant of a man weighing about 257 pounds. He has short, spiky, dark-brown hair with his remaining eye being brown as well. A highly notable thing is that he cannot use his right eye due to being injured there. He is heavily scarred, with the fewest scars being around his face. Another thing of note is that he has a mechanical hand, substituting for the real one which was cut off by being maimed in combat. He is extremely well-built, attesting to his continued rigorous training, his work in the construction business, and his former occupations of knight (Sort of, he was of a family of knights which was disgraced before he became one himself.) and mercenary. Despite the intimidating figure and numerous wounds, he gives off a calm and protective sort of presence to those around him. If one were to look directly into his eyes, they would notice pain and wisdom of which few see. When out and about he generally dresses in a plain dark blue shirt, long beige pants, and black boots. When he is prepping for combat however, he dresses in a long gray cloak, and wears a chestplate, shoulderguards, and greaves encompassing his legs. He also wears multiple belts to carry other small items with him. The rest of what he wears is cloth, and he keeps his arms bare for flexibility.
Combat Apparell:
(At least a paragraph)
Personality: Bellum Custos, at this point in life, has been tempered by the experiences he has gone through, and the ideals he had early in life. He, despite his warrior-like attitude, is a decent self-study, especially so due to coming from a late-renaissance-esque world. He still has a sort of knightly personality that has been faded and tempered in ways due to war, wandering, and mercenary work. He does do good deeds, but expects compensation for the great and dangerous ones. If he was overly generous he would have gotten killed long ago. He is surprisingly ethical, at least as ethical as one could be being from a family of disgraced knights, a former soldier, and a mercenary. He comes off as calm and protective to those around him. However, this doesn't show the hidden rage he has boiled up inside him that has let him survive thus far, along with the torment of what has happened to him in the past. If one truly got to know him, one could see him as someone to give sympathy to and admire for their tenacity to continue on. He is one who truly values his friends, especially his old group of mercenaries, because they helped him find purpose again in life. Though it'll be a long road for him to finally be at peace, he'll get there. He has the inner strength that will be required to conquer his inner darkness.

The Potential
Strengths: (Anything your character is skilled in, such as Martial Arts/ Drawing/ etc? You are allowed a maximum of five strengths and a minimum of three.)
—Strength Name: Mechanical Hand —Description: Due to the nature of having a new hand that is stronger than your previous flesh and blood one, it could be very useful. Though there could be many uses for it in combative situations, it could also be useful for other things, like hard work. Carrying heavy objects, latching onto things, and many other possibilities with a stronger, metal hand.
—Strength Name: No Wasted Movements —Description: Due to his experience with combat and comparably unwieldy weapons, he has learned how to best attack so as to not waste any energy with unecessary movements and also speed up his attacks to a surprising degree.
Allows Bellum to attack twice with dexterity attacks.
—Strength Name: War Veteran —Description: Due to having been through many wars in his old homeland, he has plenty of experienced fending for himself, surviving.... and killing. This may have consequences, but it's perks have made him strong, hardy, resilient, adaptable, and even wise. This has also made him quite observant and made his senses that are not taste or sight more acute (cause taste is useless and he is half-blind).
—Strength Name: Herculean Strength —Description: Bellum has been training to be stronger than anyone since he was a lad of 10 years. With the many wars he's been through, the brutal self-inflicted training, (FE Fans.... compare it to Frederick's Fanatical Fitness Hour, but double the fanatical.), along with the gear that he carried and the construction work that he is currently doing, has made him basically a paragon of fitness and strength. He can easily lift weights most others couldn't even attempt, like 400 pounds.
—Strength Name: Hardy —Description: Due to the nature of his old world and his occupation, Bellum ended up getting hurt alot. Though this has also made him strong enough to shrug off the pain, and it has also made him much more resilient to damage of any kind.
+10% to PEnd
----- ((Racial Strength: This is where you put any special powers that your race is capable of. This area is where your character truly comes alive. Things such as flight, shape shifting, or anything else your race can do is put here. This strength will be heavily scrutinized to ensure balance.)
—Racial Strength Name: Enhanced Madness —Description: Before when Bellum has been nearing the end of the line while in combat he has gone into a savage rage, allowing him to get the upper hand and survive to be attended by medics and apothecaries. However, with the urgings of Lupus In Exitium, along with his new Lupine instincts, he will be forced to lose himself in his bloodlust at least once when upon death's door. These influences result in a maddening frenzy of hate that cannot determine friend or foe, and also gives up on defense for attack potential. However, once he is healed, or subdued, his mind breaks free of the influence and he is unable to be influenced for a time.
This gives a 15% boost to Bellum's Ppstr, Dex, and Luck stats during his Hyper Mutation Transformation and also negates the cost for physical attacking skills.
Weaknesses: (You must have the same amount of weaknesses as strengths. These weaknesses pertain to you and not your Persona. IE: Physically Weaker, lack of attention span, etc.)
—Weakness Name: Half-Blind —Description: Due to a combat injury from his old world, Bellum has lost his sense of sight in his right eye. Though he has compensated well for this lack of depth perception, he still has issues in more heated and fast-paced situations, such as combat.
-10% to attack accuracy. (Returns to regular accuracy percentage if 20 Luck faster than the opponent.)
—Weakness Name: False Hand —Description: Having a new hand isn't all fun and games. Though he has had it for a decade at this point, he still feels phantom pains from losing his hand, along with the fact that it is not as dextrous as a regular hand, which makes it fortunate that Bellum lost his non-dominant hand.
—Weakness Name: Terrors of War —Description: Bellum has seen the worst of humanity in the war he was in, and been a part of it somewhat in his quest for vengeance. He has seen people burned alive, torn apart, and all sorts of things no young lad is meant to see, along with watching his father be executed. This has permanently scarred him, and though he tries to hold tightly to his beliefs and virtues, the supposed legacy of his father, sometimes he can't help but lose faith in people, even in himself.
—Weakness Name: Traumatized —Description: Due to the horrors Bellum has witnessed, he is frequently tossing and turning in his sleep due to nightmares, reliving horrible events, and being basically a shellshocked veteran, sometimes waking up in a cold sweat. Though he has gotten help for it with his friends and company, he is still suffering greatly. Hopefully he can be at peace before the end of his life.
—Weakness Name: Lurking Rage —Description: Due to his nature when cornered in combat, he basically has a pool of rage inside of him waiting to be released uncontrollably to attack his foes and survive.
+15% Chance to be inflicted with the Rage ailment.
----- ((Racial Weakness: If you take a Racial Strength, you are required to take a racial weakness. This weakness must tie into your racial Strength and will be looked over just as heavily.)
—Racial Weakness Name: Battle Madness —Description:Before when Bellum has been nearing the end of the line while in combat he has gone into a savage rage, allowing him to get the upper hand and survive to be attended by practiced healers.
Bellum is forced to be given an altered Rage Ailment during Hyper Mutation. This altered Rage lessens defenses by 50% and makes attacking skills available. Also only attacks are allowed in this state, and attack targets are random. Acts as a coinflip to determine if friend or foe is the target, and then an rng to determine which one in the group is going to be attacked. HAVE FUN DYING.
Genetic Weapon: ((This is a Weapon and a born from your unstable genetics. You're splicing has had some... unforeseen consequences thanks as a result of being linked to the Collective unconscious, and has further mutated into a weapon. Like Demon/Shadow weapons, this Genetic Weapon can have it's own consciousness should you choose. If so, make a note of it in your Genetic Weapon description. Unlike Soulbound Weapons, this Genetic Weapon cannot be summoned and will always remain active, meaning you'll have to keep it on you at all times.))
Weapon Name: Dragonslayer Weapon Description: A giant 7 foot sword that looks like it's realistically made expressly to kill a dragon, akin to it's name. It has no guard due to the enormity of the blade and it has a 9 inch handle to wield it outside of the 7 feet of raw iron. One could say this is less of a blade and more a hunk of raw iron resembling such. The blade itself is conscious and refers to itself as Lupus Solis (Wolf of Destruction). And has a rather savage personality, urging Bellum to return to the man of war he once was. (What it looks like) Weapon Image:
The Dragonslayer:
Weapon Attack Type: Slash(Slash, Pierce, or Strike) Weapon Element: (Leave this blank. Only special weapons obtain an element behind its blows.)
Side-Arm Weapon:
Side-Arm Name: False Hand Side-Arm Description: While he was still in his homeland, his false hand was refashioned to make him more capable in combat, thus including a feature in it which withdraws the hand under it to be able to fire a high-powered shot.(What it looks like) Side-Arm Image:
False Hand:
(Not necessary) Side-Arm Attack Type: Gun Side-Arm Style: Sniper Rifle(Choose one of the four below -
Revolver - Single Shot - Accuracy is increased by 20%. Consumes only one type of ammo per use. Can shoot only one enemy at a time.
Shotgun - Scatter Shot - Accuracy is decreased by 30%. Consumes 3 types of ammo at once to fire -must be same type of ammo. Can shoot all enemies with one attack.
Machine Gun - Muti-Round - Accuracy is decreased by 30%. Consumes 3 types of ammo at once to fire -must be same type of ammo.
Sniper Rifle - Aimed Shot - Accuracy and crit chance is increased by 20%, bullets also pierce through an enemy and ignore 10% of their PEnd. Takes a turn to charge/aim before able to fire. Consumes only one type of ammo per use. Can shoot only one enemy at a time.)
The Background
History:
Before we delve into the story of Bellum Custos, it is best to go into a brief overview of his world. Suscitat Rixas, a fitting name for this war-torn world. A land, overflowing with strife. It is a world comprised of 2 large continents, with technology resembling that of the 16th century. There are various countries, which only a few shall be gone over for the sake of convenience, and there are 3 main races with sub-races within them, The Humanum (Humans), The Chorus Bestia (Beastfolk) , and The Populi Avem (Bird People). Bellum belongs to a sub-race in Humanum called Excelsum Humane (High Human), which mainly occupy the east of the western continent Vindicta. There in that area they have built great cities, towering castles, along with armies and navies for their constant feuds. And by constant, I mean constant. There is nowhere on the continents and even the populated isles that are not in a war, mainly due to the very large number of diverse races and incompetent upper classes when it comes to peace affairs. The lands have turned into such an endless struggle that none know how to be able to stop it.
What is even worse is that most have accepted this way of life, aside from a few outlying and irrelevant factions in the various nations when it comes to power. And that is where Bellum comes in. Bellum was born to a family of knights in the kingdom of Aureum (Golden). The latest head of House Custos (Guardian) wished for his children to be pinnacle knights to gain the favor of the king, and ascend to nobility, thus he personally began to train his various sons and even daughters in the arts of combat, survival, nobility, and court. He sought to impress upon his children personalities that would earn the ardor of the masses and the nobles, one of ethics, submission to authority, and frankly bootlicking the higher-ups, and placating those lower than them. However, before these trainings could be completely implemented, the Custos family was framed by a rival family of knights seeking nobility, and thus the head of the family was executed for apparent treason in front of the Custos family, and the rest of his family sent into exile outside of the kingdom. This legitimately traumatized the supposed heir of the Custos family, Bellum Custos, who was a young lad of the age of 13. Thus the Custos family fled to a neighboring kingdom and tried to live out the rest of their lives as simple townsfolk.... at least most aside from the former heir. Frankly, Bellum grew a bit obsessed with continuing his father's supposedly righteous legacy (nothing righteous about it, just bootlicking) and continued training his combat skills, and learning from various books and people who humored his attempts to learn and better himself. Thus he continued until at the age of 17, he managed to supply himself with a set of leather armour and a sword which seemed to small in his hands. That was when he set out to join the army of the nation they now resided in, Argentum (Silver), to combat against the kingdom that the Custos family fled from, Aureum.
This particular war lasted a whole five years, and Bellum went in as an eager green looking for glory and vengeance, and came out scarred, battered, and broken, but also wiser, stronger, and more adaptable. During the war he attained the majority of the scars that would follow him into adulthood. He was honestly joyful when he heard of the head of the Inimicus (Attacker) family was killed in combat, but later he felt empty. He went into the war to avenge his father and now that revenge had taken place, there wasn't anything left for him. At least that's what he told himself until his group beat some sense into him and reminded him that it's a soldier's duty to follow, not to question. This kept him going until the end of the war, but he then decided to quit the army and find his own place in the world. Thus he began his life as a wanderer and began travelling the lands, and he eventually ran into a band of multi-racial mercenaries. There were people from all 3 main races and quite a few sub-races in there. They were called the Turba Sanguis, and were a small mercenary company that usually dealt with local lords. This group invited him in, and at this point Bellum was 25, and a powerful man at this point with only one problem. He was alone, without a purpose, a sort of unintentional and self-inflicted solitude. Thus he could scarcely believe that a group of mercenaries would just invite a giant unknown warrior into their midst. Bellum at this point cautiously accepted and joined their group. Very few notable things happened at this point, aside from Bellum becoming close to the company and coming to call them his home, family, and friends.
That gave off quite the warm and fuzzy feeling but in a battle with a group of bandits, rogue soldiers, and criminals, Bellum was shot by an arrow in his right eye. This lucky shot by one of the rogue soldiers managed to give one of the bulkier bandits an opportunity to attack Bellum and the attack maimed him. He was 27 at this point and surprisingly, everyone in the group cared about what happened to him. They cared enough to get him a mechanical hand from a blacksmith and craftsman so that he still had something akin to a left hand. The biggest contribution to said hand was a surprising one, one of the Chorus Bestia, a Lupus Hominum (Wolf Human), who was one of the few who actively antagonized Bellum. After hearing about this from someone else in the company, he and Acumen (Sharp Eye) started to get along with each other and eventually become the best of friends. And so this company's small jobs and happy times continued until they encountered something.
While the Turba Sanguis was waiting in a small town, they were all swallowed up into an enormous tower. Literally everyone of the former town was confused on how they were all somehow transferred into a slum-like area. There was a minor panic by all residents of the town and the Turba Sanguis until some explanations were given by fellow slum residents. All of the Turba Sanguis did their best to survive in the slums until they were all approached by city officials. Each of the group were given IDs and homes(Apartment Closets???) pretty close to each other, considering Junction's size. Eventually, due to all of them having to find ways to sustain themselves they chose professions that they were good at and tried their best to figure out how they worked here. Some became cooks, some became adept at sewing, heck there were even a couple of budding artists (somehow). Bellum however, decided to put his muscles to use and became a construction worker. They all managed to slowly integrate into this amalgamation of worlds, and though there is still quite a bit they don't understand (especially the illiterate out of them, poor buggers.) they're getting by and are actually somewhat pleased with the lack of wars. Eventually they heard rumors about the Shroomers and the Splicers. None of them were even considering eating some of those shrooms, who eats unidentifiable and dangerous plants unless there is no other option? Though the idea of Splicers... a few of them were open to the idea, once they learned a bit of the concept behind it that is (Seriously, try thinking of genetics when you come from a Renaissance tech-level world.). Two of them being Bellum and Acumen. When Bellum was 32 at this point (they got abducted by Junction when he was 29) and Acumen was 67 (High Humans had an average life-span of 100, and Wolf Humans had an average of 210 years, likely to be extended due to the high technological levels of Junction.) they eventually went to Dime Fearus and got their genes spliced from each other's race. Guts was happily surprised that he got a somewhat extended life-span (A few Decades.), some wolfish instincts (Which were odd at times.), and some heightened senses (Discounting sight of course. Good for everywhere but a construction site, he made sure to get tissues for his nose, and earmuffs to make it ok to deal with.). Though what was odd was that he didn't gain much else. Anyways, Bellum and the former members of the Turba Sanguis can frequently be seen hanging out with each other, and the people that Bellum most frequently hangs out with are the former leader, Agoston (Male of the Populi Avem), the second in command, Alba(Female of the Humanum), Acumen of course, the former camp cook Amity (Female of the Chorus Bestia), and Aranka (Female of the Populi Avem).
(At Least 2-3 Paragraphs, Must Include Details On Your Homeworld And How You Ended Up On Junction Or State You Were Born In Junction.)
Bellum Custos' Genetics:
Specie(s) Spliced With: Lupus Hominum (Wolf Human) (The Species name)
Arcana: Chariot (The Arcana should be the same as its Wielder)
Appearance When Genes are Active:
When Bellum Custos' genetics activate, due to being spliced with a Lupus Hominum, he gains the ears and tail of a wolf. He also has his canines lengthen into those similar to a wolf's. His nose doesn't appear to change but the scent glands are enhanced and multiplied. In addition his ears change in appearance to those of a wolf's as well. (Dose your appearance change once your Genes become active.)
Strengths: Light and Dark (What type of attacks is your Demon/Shadow Weapon strong against? This is specifically for Elemental and Physical based skills. Damage from these attacks are reduced by half. You can have up to two strengths.)
Weaknesses: Ice and Earth (What element/physical-based skills is it weak against? Should have an equal amount of strengths your Weapon has. Damage from these specific types of attacks are twice as effective and will cause your character to stagger their next post.)
Passive Boosts:
Pros: The Personas of the Chariot Arcana are commonly Personas excelling in Physical-based attacks. Users have a latent 15% boost in physical-based skills and 15% defense boost against slash skills.
(This can be found on the Arcana Sheet found here. It should match up to the Arcana the character holds.)
Genetic Skill List: ((Skill List can be found here. Your skills grow in order, meaning you must unlock Skill 4 to get to Skill 5 and so on.))

Must be a Tier 4 Skill or Lower. Unlocks skill: ???)
Special Ability:
Ability Name: Hyper Mutation Appearance while in Hyper Mutation:
When Bellum enters the state of hyper mutation, a form fitting and slender plate-like armour encompasses his entirety with the joints covered in a sort of cloth with the addition of a long black cape attached to the armour. This would appear to be a normal armour, if not for the wolf-like helmet with steel teeth and sinister eye-sockets. That and the fact that the armour is Lupus In Exitium itself, taking over Bellum and forcing him into an uncontrollable rage due to being on death's door. His new canine instincts and Lupus haunting him, forcing him past his limits in rage, make this fitting for a Berserker Armour.
Hyper Mutation Appearance:
(Does your appearance change or do you take any interesting traits while in your Instability state?)
Level of Stability: VERY HIGH (Low, Medium, High, Very High ) Description: Depending on the stability of the Splicer’s genes, when they drop below 50%(low), 25%(Medium), 10%(High), or 1%(Very High) health, they enter a state of hypermutation as their genetic code begins to break down. This causes their bodies to grow monumentally stronger depending on how unstable their genes, and by extension powers become. Low Stability gain a 10% boost to all passive skills and stats. Medium Stability gains a 25% boost to all passive skills and stats. High Stability gains a 40% boost to all passive skills and stats. Very High Stability gains a 60% boost to all passive skills and stats. High Stability and greater also experience a boost in Tier of damage for their skills. This form lasts as long as their health is below their stability threshold and can only be entered once per battle.
Soul Skill Name: Canine Agility [What's the tech called?] Tier: Tier 1 Cost: NA [Make it realistic. Physical damage moves is HP for a cost. Magic is SP] Type of Damage: Passive [Self Explanatory] Description: With the wolfish genes in him activated, along with having a tail, Bellum Custos has strengthened his speed due to being spliced with a Lupus Hominum. This will grant a 10% boost to Bellum's luck stat. [Explain what happens when you perform this technique]
