| Out of all the reasons Samson would visit Suzie Q, he never thought it would be to actually BUY something. But apparently his daughter just had to have a certain CD. Honestly, out of all the places in Endymion, Samson's least favorite was the Suzie Q. It was loud, flashy, and full of annoying teenagers. And worst of all, some of them somehow RECOGNIZED him from his old boxing days. Did kids even LIKE boxing that much? Especially back around the time he was in the ring? Or maybe they just say that horrible show that came on late at night where he solved mysteries. Regardless, it was annoying, but most could be sent on their way with a glare. Lions did not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep. As he made his way through the crowd towards the correct store, and slipped in, he...scowled. Of course it was sold out. This was just...both perfect, and horrible. Now he needed to visit other stores, and hope there was one left. He left the store, with a scowl on his face, and his hands in his pocket.
This was going to be a long day.

| Maria was hobbling through meekly in the streets. It was a tight fit in here and she was far from being comfortable at this point with that massive coffin on her back. But that's the price she paid for power in exchange for many things, especially daily conveniences walking around the city. She was about to leave, but there was a music store just to her right. Thinking back, there were a few teenagers listening to some things. She remembered how they remarked how boring Maria was being so Puritanical. Once inside, she was completely lost and didn't quite know what to do. It was her first time visiting such a place with such a wide variety of electronic-based wares. Looking around, she soon realized, she hardly had any idea what people her age listened to these days. Though maybe she can find something else instead. Even then, she had no idea in her way around. But at least there was some guy near by who seemed to be just as lost as her... right? "Um, excuse me...? Do you know where I can find Christian music here?" | |

| Samson stopped mid-step. Someone was...talking to him? No, that COULDN'T be right, surely there wasn't someone THAT-and it was just kid...well, most people were just kids to him. He stared, silently at her for a long moment. "Christian Music?" He finally questioned. Hey, if she was brave/stupid enough to actually talk to him, sure. "Most stores in this area should have the correct CD's." He finally answered. There weren't many ways to go wrong in Suzie-Q it seemed. Unless you had a demanding daughter who wanted a very specific CD that was Sold. Out. "...Christian?" He finally questioned. Pure curiosity had taken over. Who listened to Christian Music anymore? It was...odd to him. But...he supposed some people needed SOMETHING to listen to. Even if that something was a bit odd. Most music he heard in Suzie-Q was odd to him, honestly. | |

| This guy sure was tall. Probably as tall as the coffin was strapped to her back. Strangely enough he didn't seem to be reacting to it. But then again, he probably was used to people treating him weird for his massive height too. Though it wasn't like that was rare within the Church when she thought about it. People of all sizes could join the Church Militancy and contribute. Maria found herself putting a finger on her lip to ponder on this fact that it was actually common, so where on earth would this shop have it...?
"Hm? Oh, um, I thought it would be great to have other kinds of songs for Bible Study and all that for the Church," she explained to him, "What about you? What are you looking for? Maybe I can help?"

| After some of the oddities he had seen in Endymion, and the tactless people who had commented on his size negatively, it would take something a BIT worse than a coffin to truly incite a reaction from the man. Maybe if an actual dead person fell out of it or something he would quirk a brow. As it stood, he didn't particularly feel one way or another about the girl. Though apparently she was a member of a church. So maybe it wasn't odd she wore a coffin, who knew? He had never been entirely interested in any religion. It all seemed slightly boring to him, if he HAD to be honest.
"...My daughter wants some new CD that apparently came out today. However it appears as though it has been sold out already." Samson admitted. "If you would be willing to help me, I would help you." He offered, simply.

| Maria cocked her head to the side in even more thought. A CD that came out today? She did hear some hearsay from her younger peers and Bible Study students about some kind of music. They seemed rather excited for its release. She could barely remember the name of the album, but felt like if she saw its names listed on it, she'd remember it instantly.
The Cadet smiled, "That would be swell. I'm Maria. What's yours?"

| "I am Samson." He greeted. Well, technically he had no name, but Samson would work well enough. At least the ring announcer had picked a winner for him. Better than 'Apoc', whatever that was even supposed to mean. He had assumed that it would be some group popular with children. And he hoped that it would be better than some of the usual garbage he heard coming from his daughter's room. One time he had heard something about Wrecking Balls and had gotten the slightest bit excited, but in the end it had just been a love song, and that honestly made him more disappointed then he thought he could be with music. "...nice to meet you as well. I believe this store has served it's use, however, if it doesn't have what either of us were looking for." | |

| Samson. Like the story of the man under that same name. A strength given by God to protect the Israelites from their enemies. She remembered reading about it from the Old Testament. This man certainly looked imposing and vibrant with power to fit that name. It made her wonder if someone like him was in some kind of blue collar job or maybe was in some kind of fighting entertainment industry. The latter felt more likely because he held himself with more assurance and awareness than others, Maria would instinctively feel.
"Mmn, that would be the case. Could you describe the name of the CD. Maybe if we tried looking for what each other would want, there might be a better luck?" Maria offered one thing to the overbearing man and then the other, "Or we could always find a sales representative... if there are any around right now."
Her cerulean eyes careened around her surroundings for anyone remotely uniformed. But it didn't seem to be the case at all. Where were they, on lunch break?

| He had tried blue-collar for a while, after his retirement. It didn't work out. Training the new generation of pathetic boxers though...that had been a bit more fitting, at least. Even if they all made him disappointed as well. Their potential seemed to cap out way lower than even the WORST boxers back in the old days, for the most part. "...Apparently it's called H0neyc0mb. With zeroes instead of o's" Samson deadpanned. That sounded like the dumbest thing ever to him, but honestly he was sure by next week the new generation would do something worse to lower his faith in humanity. He looked around the store with half lidded eyes. Apparently all the store worker weren't around at the moment. Lazy asses. "...apparently." He finally decided. "...at any rate, I get the feeling what you are looking for will be easier." | |

| She raised an eyebrow at the name and it sounded somewhat familiar. Maybe it just needed another step to have her remember it fully. But never mind that, he was right. Maybe it would be easier to find a some popular CD than some random old genre that no one cares about. "I suppose you might be right. Maybe we could both look for this... Honeycomb together before looking for mine?" | |
