Robots can own bars too? [8D]

Gabe wasn’t much of an alcoholic, he liked to have various ways of handling his stress whenever he felt like he had a bit much of reality having to shove it’s foot up his butt. However, he felt like it would be best if he moved around a bit so that he didn’t leave behind a set pattern of where he stayed. For Gabe, it was a little more like him to keep it moving if he’s been squatting at place for too long. Though, walking into this particular bar was a bit of a different kind of experience.

“Hello?”

The shouting that would greet Gabe as he walked in did not seem to faze the other patrons of the bar nor did it seem to bother the little girl with fox ears who was running around happily busing tables. It did however rattle the rafters a little, though granted not nearly as much as the fallowing gunshots or bullets ricocheting through the bar did.

"Have you gone DAFT woman! I have done nothing of the sort! To think that I would sully myself with such pursuits is simply unfathomable! Much less with someone like yoursel-GOOD LORD WOMAN WATCH WHERE YOU POINT THAT THING" This voice's shout was cut off by yet another gunshot. This one was discernibly larger caliber to anyone who knew their guns.

"And what do you mean,'Someone like me!?" Huh?" The first voice was getting angrier.

"Heyo," Came a slightly more chipper voice from behind the bar "What can I get ya?" Asked the clown who was drying a glass.

Gabe was pretty much shocked at the vulgar language that he heard. Maybe he’s been spoiled a lot by the suave and classy scene that the casino bar had to offer, but Stryea opened his eyes to small places of gatherings as well. However, this place seemed pretty rowdy to say the least, more than he’s been exposed to. The little fox person looked familiar as well. “callie? “ Gabe would say in passing in the direction of the little girl running around. Why was she wearing a fox outfit? Either way, If she didn’t answer, Gabe would take a seat and look at the clown woman.

“is this a costume bar of some kind? I never necessarily met a themed bar to say the least. Though, if wearing a costume is something akin to a dress code, I think that I’m a bit underdressed. “ He said this in a joking fashion as he ordered his drink. “Can I have a strawberry martini? “ It was something easy to test the hand of the bartender in front of him

"...HUH!? Sorry Sorry, I just completely spaced there for a bit, happens more often then you'd think heh." 8D chuckled and grit his teeth slightly. The-Oh shut it ya JACK ass EHEHEHEHE! Thought you could get rid of me eh? Hows about I spill the bizity bizity beans on you eh? Thought so! So lets just get RIIIIIGHT back into the pilots seat and get back in this game eh? Goood boy...-Clown chuckled slightly and reached for the gin,vermouth and a handful of fresh strawberries. He put the strawberries into a blender behind the counter after removing the stems and set about getting a glass ready."Also naw, it's no theme. I just look like this. Ehehehe. Not to often we get people asking for a fancy drink though. Any special ocasion? Past, present, and or future you're celebrating?"

The sounds of combat and domestic assault and battery would continue from the back as the bartender put the finishing touches on his masterwork"Don't mind them. I'm sure they're o K! Ehehehe! Ah... So what's your name kid?"

Humming gently to herself, the young vixen would be hard at work cleaning up all the used tables of those who had recently left the bar. Darting from one table to the next rhythmically as if she had done it thousands of times before and knew exactly what she was doing. Which she kinda did, even if she did wing most of it. There was a lot of loud noises in the background and her ear would twitch slightly as the first sudden gunshot was fired. Though with how the arguments continued she was sure it would all sort itself out soon. It often did. It was best not to interrupt K when she was already off on one of her explosive tantrums. Instead she'd continue to hum to herself as she made jokes about the situation with the little shadow in her head.

However, what suddenly felt like a lifetime had passed. The girl would finally be done with what she was doing and only had to bring the dirty glasses back over to the bar now. So collecting as many as she could, she'd pile them up onto her small busting tray and begin to make her way over to the bar front, placing them down gently for 8D to clean up later. Her sharp ears picking up the sound of a familiar voice conversing with her robo-bro. "Professor Stone Skimmer?" The girl would say in half surprise and half excitement. "I didn't know you went to bars like this! 8D I know this guy, he's really nice, he taught me all kinds of things in the few time I met him! Like, uhm, oh you know that fish I brought back that one time! He was the one who helped me catch it!"

"Uhuh...... i'm more impressed at your tolerance in regards to the noise. Not to say that I only went at high-class bars and the like. Though, I never saw anything like this before. " Looking at the clown outfit up and down, it would remind Gabe a little bit about the other fellow terrorists that he would run around with all hours of the night. "Well, I guess cosplay is on the rave these days. No need for me to judge, sometimes, I hate to look all dressed up when I'd want to wear something more comfortable instead. " After that, Gabe would shake his head. "Nothing special I just found my way here due to the commotion and realized that it was a bar half way. If I'm going to enjoy your atmosphere, why not be a paying customer? Right?"  It was at that time that Gabe would start to introduce himself. "My name is Gabriel, but you can call me Gabe for short, and yourself?"

However, with the appearance of Callie, Gabe would grin in surprise as he patted her on the head. "I was wondering if that was you or not, are you playing around in the costume bar too? I was just introducing myself to Aidae, but wondered why a little girl like yourself was working as a busboy at such a rowdy place?" Gabe was obviously confused.

Almost to mock Gabe's confusion on the matter, a stray bullet would whiz through though the back wall of the bar and blow off one of the balls hanging from Grins's hat, the red one to be specific. With a gentle sigh he would smile and take the hat off, tossing it into the recycling bin-THE POWER IS YOURS! ehehehe-. "You have... NO idea heh. Though normally they're much worse, normally they blow of the Blue one... The blue one is my favorite Ehehe!"8D would continue his chuckle as he fished under the counter for another hat. Once found he would don the funky head wear, lighting each bulb in sequence to test the new hat out. "No cosplay ether friend. It's not a costume if it's the only thing you wear, Ehehe. Though if it's a unique atmosphere you're wanting here Gabey, you came to the right place."

8D would raise an eyebrow, though you would never know it sense his mask obscured his eyes, at Callie's sudden interest in their new guest. It didn't surprise him that she knew him, he seemed like the sort that would be important."Oh! You're the one who helped Callie bring in the Reel Big Fish. Personally I liked the origenal version of Take On Me a bit better but it was a good cover.... Ehehe! You see Gabey, Callie here is my little sister. She helps me and our folks run the bar."

"Huh? Costume bar?" The girl would respond, confused at first before noticing her reflection in one of the glasses she had just placed down, seeing the fact she had forgotten to cover up her ears whilst working... Again. Most people in here were used to it by now, they all just thought she was cute to wear silly costume things like that. Though she kept meaning to not forget to hide them, if only a certain robot would had reminded her and not rushed her out to work before she was ready. But oh well, at least he didn't seem too upset about it for now. "Ohh! You mean that, yeah I dunno, I just like wearing this kinda thing. Cause animals are cute and awesome, ya know?" The young girl would say with a light nod of her head, giggling at the stupidness of the joke 8D gave after she told him who Gabriel was.

"Yup, yup! 8D is my bestest big bro! And its fun to help out with some things, gives me something to do and it feels nice to help out. Though..." Callie would take a moment to lean onto one foot to try and peer into the back to see exactly what was going on back there. Sure this thing happened before, but it usually died down a lot faster than this. "Ya think I should go try and calm them two down, 8D? You know they can't be mad when I'm around~!"

In all actuality, Gabe started to laugh when 8D started to change the hats from time to time. "Well, I guess this counts as much as anything else for unique if I was looking for something of the sort. On top of that, your little sister? Would have never guessed, I was almost starting to get concerned with seeing her run about without adult supervision, so I always go out of my way to help with whatever she's doing when I run into her. " Nodding at what she was saying, Gabe would smile as Callie exclaimed that she enjoyed wearing animal clothing. "Alright mini-manager, I won't keep you for long." Turning back to 8D, Gabe would start to wonder a few things. " Ive been meaning to ask, how long were you guys on your own? It's commendable that you were able to start a successful business and raise your sister at the same time.Is it hard sometimes?"

"Oh no no no, That won't do Callie, you and I both know they need to work through this natural tension themselves. If we go around defusing every situation they'll never rank up!They're adults after all. Besides, they can't fight forever right? Ehehehehe." 8D chuckled to himself as he leaned forward slightly, resting his arms on the counter. J and Kay's fights had been getting more and more violent recently and frankly it was both a blessing and a curse. On one hand it was free entertainment, on the other they were running out of supplies to fix the walls and had to resort to paper-mâché. On the third hand it made for a pleasant conversation starter and ender.

"Thanks for keeping an eye out for her when she's off on her little adventures. Callie caaaan be a handful at times heh," 8D would smile and gently pat Callie on the head, giving her ears a little scratch for good measure. "Though I do have to wonder about your ability to hear good sir. I said we helped our Folks with the place. It aint just me and Callie around here. Hence the combat in the background Ehehe. That's my dad and his assistant duking it out over some thing or another. Good times... good times. Though sense our legal guardians are more like children some times then Callie here, I do do a good bit of the raising here. I think I do a pretty ding dong dung good job of it to! Ain't that right Cals?

Callie would pout lightly, not in a serious way where she was actually upset, just in the way that she knew annoyed 8D to see. "Aww, but I'm so good at breaking up their fights!" The girl would begin with an over exaggerated disappointed tone. "But I guueessss I just have to slave away out here all day like usual. Never a moments break! Never a chance to rest my little legs, always working me day in and day out. Such a cruel one you are, hehe." As the girls moanings went on, her tone slowly changed from one of a forced serious nature to one of a clearly joking one. She could never keep a straight face when she was trying to wind Grins up. "Speaking of ranking up! When are we next gonna do something cool, huh 8D? You too Professor Stone Scimmer! Haven't seen you around for a while, what's the next silly lesson gonna be about?"

One of the girls ears would twitch slightly as 8D continued to speak about her being a handful. "Hey! I am not! I'm always around when you need me to be, aside from that one time, and that other one recently, but, uh, I help out around here and I only go wandering off when I'm really bored! Which, just happens to be a lot of the time. I know how to keep myself safe though!" The girl would protest, her retaliation coming to a stop as her big bro began patting her head. After that, the young vixen would stay quiet as the conversation continued, just listening and nodding at various points until her opinion was asked upon again. "I meeeaaannnn..." She'd begin, a sly smirk on her face. "You do okay sometimes, hehe."

My ability to hear kind of scales on the noise level. When it gets loud, i start to hear things that's straight out of context. For example, i read your lips for the majority of that last sentence. " Gabe was completely honest with that, but he wouldn't call himself an old man. He was still trying his best to be cordial and explain his case. Though when callie asked him about their next adventure, Gabe would sigh a bit. "Sadly, something came up this week that i had to work on. So i don't think we can do anything too time-consuming. But how about we all three go see a movie? is there something you like to watch?" Looking at her brother, Gabe would shrug a bit. "I mean, it was only a suggestion. Dinner is also fine with me..."

"What are ya talken about I'm a great big brother ya little-" 8D mumbled under his breath, the glass he was busy cleaning suddenly creaking a little under his INTENSE cleanliness. "Aint never been a big bro as cool or as neat as me I'll tell you what you Hwhat that fox just aint right propane...." 8D chuckled slightly and held the glass out to his side and waited for a moment. He counted down three seconds from with his free hand, and upon getting to one a stray bullet from the raging battle in the back flew through the open door and smashed through the bottle. "Like Clockwork! Ehehe"

"Dinner and a Movie? Sorry friend but I don't know what kinda of vibes you got from the Clown working at the bar with a little girl and two homicidal maniacs-YES I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME BACK THERE NOW PIPE DOWN- but I don't swing that way. Ehehe, even if it does sound like a GAY old time! Ehehe-eh... Was that one in poor taste? It feels like it was in poor taste..." 8D sighed and waited for Callie to answer, she would have the final say after all.

Ducking her way under the flap that lead to the back of the bar, Callie would begin helping put a few of the now cleaned glasses back where they belonged. Pausing for a moment to grab and hug 8D's arm. "Oh calm down you. You know I was only kidding around~. Hehe. You're the bestest brother I could ever dream to hope for and you know it!" The girl would quickly duck her way back out from the back of the bar just before the bottle was shot, jumping a little as it shattered. Though after that, she'd listen to the exchange of Gabe's idea of what they could do as well as 8D's response. All three of them do something together? That could be fun!

The young vixen would tilt her head, not really understanding the joke that 8D was saying about the whole idea. Being even more confused when even he admitted that his joke might had been one he shouldn't of said. "Uhhh... What kinda movie?" She'd decide to say inquisitively, movies could be cool and all. Though she wasn't really the best at the whole... Well, sitting down in one place for a long time thing. And especially if they went to a proper cinema you have to sit down constantly there or they all get mad at you! "Well, I'm not good at sitting down for a long time. I get too bored no matter what we're doing, I have too much energy to be sitting around for hours at a time! Though maybe we could do both at once? Have dinner round here or where you live Professor whilst watching a movie there instead of a big ol' cinema! That way I can get up and do other things if I get bored without being shouted at. Hehe."

"I'm sorry? Did that come out wrong?" Gabe would say this with a questioning tone., actually wondering if he approached the entire situation a bit differently than he was supposed to. His mind started to work a bit quick, thinking of a way to possibly backtrack while also satisfying the needs of the girl. "I got it, a picnic. There is an old charity event for independent filmmakers where you could watch their movies at a park with a giant projector and whatnot. The weather seems pretty good, and with bringing a blanket and our own things, Callie could get up and walk around in the meantime. Each day has a different movie playing for the week, so maybe the right genre for everyone ...." Though, Gabe felt like he spoke too soon. "I'm sorry, this must be weird for me to propose anything without asking if you were interested first. Please let me know if this is bothering any of you.
