A 'Jump' is the commonly accepted terminology for the phenomenon of the entire city of Junction and any structure that have been incorporated into it's mass slipping through space time, disappearing form the current reality and repapering in a new reality. These Jumps can be random, however, jumps that are scheduled are much more common. The Date and Time of Scheduled Jumps are broadcast to all civilians of Junction through a mass hallucination, in which the Date and Time appear in the upper right hand corner of the afflicted person's vision. It is important to note that blind individuals do not experience this hallucination.
