Morning Ride [Gabe]

The trains were on time, as usual, so there would be no excuses, there was room for him on one of the trains, so still no excuses, he is behind. There is no excuse. The morning light pours in outside, as James quickly rushes into a train, attempting to get to school on time after having woken up later than he had planned to. He looked around, as the doors to the train closed, and the train began to move.

It seemed to be a bit of a long Ride for Gabe on the train, he was actually carrying a few back to his house. It wasn't too crowded, but he couldn't find himself a seat. "..." Desiring a way to hold some form of stability while making sure that the boxes were secure, Gabe ended up trying to press himself against the metal pole. It was successful for the time being, but whenever the train moved, he would end up dropping one of the boxes."Oph!"

This was about the second time that it happened, leaving Gabe to be a little worried about the contents that were inside. "Woosh!!" As the box slid along the floor, it ended up at the feet of a young man.

James looked down at the box that had slid to his feet, seeing the owner near a small pile of them. James picked it up, and slowly worked his way through the train, making it to the man, before handing him the box. "I believe this is yours." He smiled as he handed the man his box, yet another good deed done!

"Oh, thank you. It's not too often that i would be on the receiving rend of the results of another kindness. We seem to be slightly in the same boat when it comes to the lack of seats on public transportation. "Gabe kind of wished that one would open up soon. "I'd shake your hand, but my hand's are a bit full. It's Gabriel, and i appreciate the help. "

"Well... It's no problem Gabriel. I'm James. I'd like to but... I see that your hands are indeed full." He says, jokingly smiling. "And yeah... But... I've gotten used to it by now...." He pauses for a bit... Before asking a question. "So... What do you do for a job?"

"Ahh, James. That's a fine name..." When it was asked about what Gabe id for a living, he thought about the right way he could put his current position. "Well, i storyboard for my own personal manga. It hasn't taken off yet, and i'm still experiencing some...difficulties. However, nothing ventured, nothing gained. " Gabe then wondered if the young man was even interested in that. "Do you read manga?"

"Thanks. I also like my name." James said with a smile before he began listening again. He nodded when the man talked about storyboarding. "On occasion I do. But not all that much, no. Still, keep it up! Reach for your dreams."

"well, since you ask what is it that I do, I pose the same question to yourself. What is it that you do for a living James?" Gabe wasn't expecting some grandstanding answer like a full-time job or anything of the sort. Even a part time job was something that Gabe was half expecting. Either way, it was all mostly conversation filling.

"Me? Well. I work at a Hardware Store after school, not much really." James... Wasn't expecting to be asked what HE did for work... To be honest, he didn't really like doing it that much, but it was money.

"Hm... well if anything it's practical. Being good with your hands is somewhat of a muscle memory if you are doing the same kind of tasks for a long period of time, no?" After saying that, the announcer started to address the next stop.

"Next up, Sunlake Palms"

That's my stop! Thanks again for your help James. Perhaps we will meet again?"

"Yeah it is, I suppose. Anyway, have a good day!" He said, before realizing that he had obviously missed his stop, he freaked out for a second, before running off to find the right train to take him to school he was DEFINITELY gonna be late now! A few seconds later, he had disappeared into the crowds.
