Practice [Arctic]

The small training room within the Breeze's house was designed to look like an actual dojo. Very oriental looking with a floor specifically made to mimic that of traditional dojos. Natsu spent a lot of his spare time in this room; training and practicing and meditating. He just didn't know what to do with his spare time when the chores, school work, and cooking was done.

He thought that maybe if he trained hard enough, he could eventually talk to people and be normal... But he didn't really know if that was a viable idea anymore... It made him sad... But, he didn't want to be trapped within himself for forever! He wanted to be strong for his sister but he just... Couldn't... He felt trapped and he didn't know how to escape it.

These thoughts just made him try harder as he swung the practice sword around, going through the multiple steps with ease as he went from form to form to stance to stance. He was mad that he couldn't get stronger. Sad that he may never get stronger... His grunts could be heard as he worked up a sweat as he practiced his swordsmanship.

Arctic approached her home, digging in her pockets for her keys before unlocking the door and walking inside. She'd close the door carefully behind herself before sighing in relief. She had the bamboo shoot Natsu was looking for on her, she knew he'd be happy to see it... B-but speaking of Natsu, where was he? He was usually straight at the door at first sign of noise of someone coming inside, strange.

After a quick search of the house, the white haired girl would hear noising coming from the training room they had in their home. That must be why her brother never heard her come inside. She'd enter cautiously as to not disturb him if he was in the middle of something and slowly slide her way into the center of the wall and watch. She'd smile happily at seeing her brother put all his effort into something he loved doing. It was a touching thing to see.

If Natsu were to notice Arctic, she'd simply wave the bamboo shoot in the air to show him she'd found it and wait for him to talk first. After all, she wasn't going to talk until he was finished. It was rude to interrupt.

He'd finish his movements with a final grunt. Standing still as he stared at the wall in front of him. Sweat dripped off of his chin and onto the floor. He was deep in thought, not paying attention to anything but his goal. What he wanted to be, to become, to do... But, he didn't know how to achieve it other than trying over and over again...

He'd eventually snap out of it and place his sword on the ground quietly, sighing before turning to look at the door where his sister was now at. He'd blink at first before his red face got even redder.

"A-Arctic? J-Jeez... Don't just stare at me like that..." he'd say, walking over to a rack that had a towel on it, rubbing his face dry of the sweat before looking back at Arctic with a small smile.

"How was your day, Arctic? Do anything exciting?" he'd ask with his smile on his face as he turned his focus on her. He wanted her to know he cared everytime they talked... So, he was happy to do this.

Arctic would giggle lightly as Natsu noticed her. "Sorry, hehe. I was just coming to see what you were doing and didn't want to interrupt you was all." She'd say truthfully, waiting for her brother to dry off the sweat from his face before continuing to talk. "I know how into these kinds of things you get and being suddenly distracted from something you're doing can be annoying."

"Nothing particularly exciting, no." She'd say with a sly smile before holding up the bamboo shoot once more. "Managed to find this though. This was what you were searching for earlier, right? You don't know how close this thing came to being tossed in the trash. But my days been good in general, thanks. How've you been?"
