| So there's a lot of rules that many people don't know about and it has not been written down in threads or mentioned in Updates thread. Just post what they are here. And we'll have staff and Philemon verify them as we go. Those that are verified will be listed in the OP. Think of it like a Mythbusters-sort-of-shit. Verified:
- Rakukaja skills do not directly change PEnd or MEnd.
- Invigorate and Regenerate skills are not active while not in battle.
- A Forgotten's shadow weapon is supposed to be dormant until their awakening. Unless a reason is given otherwise, they should be comatose.
- If a Tension NPC hits a Weakness or scores a Critical Hit, they will build up their Tension again.
- After Shadow Massacre runs out, all your skills suffer a halved effectiveness decrease for the rest of the thread. Affects clashing, unless a skill is used to buff them.
- A NC with Growth in their skillset is subject to the same restriction after Mutating.
- Shuffle happens when using AoA, weakness, or crit on taking out the last enemy.
- Player Characters that become NPCs do not get exp for the battles.
- Multi-hitting skills in PvP can have a hit stored. "But if the skill is a two hitter and you are attacking with say both hands of a Persona then no that would not store a hit. "
- If you have an Arcana with more than one boost you can change the boost on a new Persona when you get it. This also applies to Overdose.
- Awakenings don't take up your day phase schedule.
- While in their True Selves form, Shadow Selves are able to behave exactly like any regular Persona, which means Luck affects their speed and Real Damage does not harm them.
- Sidearms aren't really bound to your body like soulbounds are.
- Only a part of your body can be chosen as a soulbound, not all of it.
- Guards null ailments and insta-kills.
- Full suits of armor can't be soulbounds. Only a part of it.
- If you suffer from an ailment like Charm, you cannot dodge attacks while under that state. Fear will also have a 25% chance that you leave battle if you are hit by the 50% chance and don't do anything.
- Aeon Arcana doesn't affect Last Life Boost
- For Wild Cards, only their Initial or Prime skill uses count towards their rank ups on those Personas, not any skills used from the Personas in their Wild Card Compendium.
- NWCs can reorganize their Persona Decks in dungeons only after ranking up or when unlocking a Persona. This can only be done once until the same situation comes up again.
- If you possess an elemental boost/amp passive on your regular skillset then you can't have the same elemental boost/amp of the same tier as a soul skill.
- If you take the Growth skill, you can only learn/get Tactical Skills on your Persona Skill List. This does not include your soul skills. But on the other hand, you're able to choose a tactical skill a tier higher than what is allowed in your rank requirements.
- Multi-hit soulbound attacks will get a required 30% base miss chance. Soul skills that change a dexterity damage element to a magical element (fire, ice, etc.) can still possess a crit chance. But can be nullified by skills like Dekaja. You may choose whether to hit multiple or single with soulbound attacks.
- Soulbounds don't clash each other, they still act like normal weapons. Dex attacks can never clash with persona skills. Soulbound boosts does not affect parrying, only doing more damage. Using soulbounds against other players relies on skill.
- Multi-hit skills like Arrow Rain have a base 30% miss chance. This means their minimum and starting miss chance is always 30% unless you have a guaranteed hit on an enemy through a skill like Heavenly Wind or an ongoing status on them such as being Downed.
- The cap for buffs and debuffs is 60%. No matter how many boosts or modifiers you have a single buff/debuff can't normally go beyond that.
- Natural PEnd and MEnd also cap at 60%.
- For Devil arcana characters, the cap for buffs/debuffs is 75% instead of the normal amount.
- For Hanged Man arcana characters, the cap for PEnd/MEnd is 75% instead of the normal amount.
- If a nuclear bomb is dropped on a Shadow Self they will die. Yes even in True Form. You cannot survive nukes. Stop it. Stop.
- Velvet Attendants may copy skills directly from their guests' Demon Masks. This includes special skills like those exclusive to boss masks.
- Special skills from Demon Masks can't be copied over via Card Links at all. Normal skills can only be copied over if they were transferred to the user's Persona/equivalent through Sacrificial Fusion.
- Velvet Attendants may attend their guests' Prime Dungeons if they have a rank 4 Social Link or higher with them.
- Velvet Attendants may attend Dungeon Dashes with their guests if they have a rank 6 Social Link or higher with them. They may also opt to go on solo dashes or dash with their fellow attendant PCs freely.
- Regardless of their Social Link rank, Velvet Attendants may not accompany their guests on Full Moon dashes. Similarly, if the Reaper is triggered and engages the party in combat they cannot participate in the battle, as protecting guests from such a powerful foe would be getting too directly involved in their fate.

| I'll start off then.
Rakukaja skills do not directly change PEnd or MEnd.
Invigorate and Regenerate skills are not active while not in battle.
A Forgotten's shadow weapon is supposed to be dormant until their awakening. Unless a reason is given otherwise, they should be comatose.

| Phile confirmed two days ago in chat that Invigorate and Regenerate do not work nor have ever worked outside of battle. | |

| Gonna start with these.
A)In PVP, What is the verdict on half of a 2 hitting skill being stored, I recall a No and think this should be stated somewhere.

| I don't personally see why not if the circumstance makes sense. I recall a couple instances where this has happened before (Ree storing her Tempest Slash second hit when facing Naito, and myself saving a hit when Maya fought Sharaku). But if the skill is a two hitter and you are attacking with say both hands of a Persona then no that would not store a hit. | |

So I have heard this is a rule now. [word of God, folks. This be a true rule]
Also, Awakenings don't take up part of your day. It's not specified anywhere, but I've heard this is truth. Comments?

I can verify the awakenings. But the shuffle, find someone who can verify it.

| Can verify. Shuffle Time only happens when you take the last enemy out with weakness, crit, or AOA | |

| If you're a Nyarlathotep Child who has Growth on your skillset and you mutate, your Mutated Persona is subject to the same restrictions as your Tainted, meaning you can only have tactical and passive skills on it. | |

| Phile confirmed this when we asked her about what Masako had to do after Mutating. | |

| After Shadow Massacre runs out, all your skills suffer a 50% attack decrease for the rest of the thread. Does this interact with clashing in any way? Or is it just in terms of damage, like the Charge skills? | |

| Yes it does affect clashing. They are weaker in every sense unless a skill is used to buff them.
In Shadow Selves after Frenzy/Massacre, the skills effectiveness after the use is halved, not 50% smaller. So for example, a healing skill that heals 40% only heals 20%.
