| ““Power….wasted on a … pretty attractive but narrow minded blonde 30 something year old….. prime minister. Yes lord I can see the golden hue already…..oh wait..that’s the pope I’m thinking about.” Sada was already disinterested, was the aspect of power literally that one white van with the old man that has candy inside of it? Honestly, it was everyone who wanted to basically achieve “nothing out of the ordinary” that had the relevant power and chance to actually try. "Do i look like the average panty thief to you? If i was going through your belongings, it would be to take what i want thats useful......to me."
This negotiation is going to lead to nothing mostly being told to do something and left in the dark. Sada didn't like taking orders, especially for nothing. Sada will side with anyone if there was power in it for him.
. “Look, this is a give and take relationship. I really don’t care who you are. But if you think I’m going up against the world on the whim of some strange woman with nothing in return, count me out. Equal exchange, minister-chan. The price raises with every relevant person in this area that doesn’t side with you. Let’s not lie to each other, when its being told that it’s for “the good of the people“, its only half true.

| Charles frowned as he listened to Mae's words. With the sudden shift of the atmosphere around her, clear enough for even him to pick up on it, he was sure he knew what was going on through her head. "The Minister said the Ward cannot wake up. I also assume there is significance to this person and that either no or only a few rare and distinct individuals could substitute for it." He says, looking at Isla. "Is that correct?"
"Either way, I agree with Morihiro. But I also disagree with him. You have no proof to trust us complete strangers. I'd be more worried if you actually did inform us of all you knew openhandedly. That would either be a trap or would prove you're the one not to be trusted. Hence I conclude that your staying silent regarding some specifics of the issue works to both our advantages in our current discussion. Still, I'll be willing to trade services with you for information, if anything is needed of me, earn your trust, so to say. I cannot speak for Mae and Morihiro, though, but I can speak for myself. And I do. Equal exchange, as per Morihiro's terms." He finished with a short, polite bow.

| "I can more than guarantee his safety. He however does not power the barriers I myself made. But his power is not to be trifled with. Part of him got taken and with it his true strength robbed. But once he wakes up, he will be able to do immense things. He cannot be replaced." Turning to Sada and Charles she shook her head. "I don't recall asking you to do my work for me. I know some volunteered and I will accept their help, but I won't go out of my way. If people decide to stay safe and hole themselves up by the time I am finished waiting, I will place the rest of the barriers on the islands I can, and leave Standasen to its business until it is finally taken care of. It is indeed for the people, but it is for Azores' safety. By all means, go stop Zackary and tell me of your foils. Once he is finished I can protect the islands from whatever madness continues to pervade us. I have no reason to withhold anything from you." | |

| Mae nodded in response to the Prime Minister's words. "So there's no way to stop this conflict peacefully... I see..." She'd turn to face Charles, her expression somewhat changed from the grim look she had donned previously. "Looks like this settles it then. We're going to Standasen to help our allies out in stopping Zachary and his goons. We've done our part here. Isla..." She'd look back towards her former headmaster, with a light smile on her face. "Thank you, for at least being honest with us. I understand if you don't wish to divulge where this ward is, but I'll take your word for it that he is indeed safe. Should he wake up, he can catch up with us. Stay safe, okay?" Mae was relieved that they didn't have to resort to violence when it came to talking with Isla. Now, the girl was absolutely sure that Zachary had to go down. "I'll let you know once our duty is done. Farewell." And with those final words, Mae turned around, leaving the area. The others were free to stay and ask Isla more questions, but the redheaded woman was satisfied. | |

| He simply shook his head as they seemed to managed to come to this sort conclusion. "So what? That's it?" Sada sucked his teeth an started to thing of his next moves. What was going to happen once he got to Zacharys? What was he to find? Would the an already be dead? Would there be something in it for Sada in the end? He sure as hell wasn't going t be at this woman's beck and call, she didn't even set the right lure. So if she thought she had a believer out of sada for her self gratifying bullshit, she was sadly mistaken. | |

| Ok this wasn't what Charles was expecting. Such an anticlimactic development...he was really almost furstrated. Weren't things in situations dire as this supposed to be more dramatic..? From the movies, it sure felt like that. Perhaps he was watching too many? That requires further re-evaluations.
He was gonna go with Mae, regardless of what Morihiro was gonna do now. There was no point in procrastinating-it was time to go do something constructive and work towards the end goal.
"Mae, I'm coming with you." He waved at her to wait before catching up.
