Frog was exhausted at the end of the friggin' day, but he also knew there was still the whole Platinum Playhouse business later on in the night to look forward to. He was already way beyond his body's capacity regarding tiredness and now there was gonna be another sleepless night.

Just perfect.

And not only that, but his mom forgot to buy some shit in the store during her weekly shopping, so he now had to go get it for her.

He just wanted to lay down and sleep, but he was stuck going out to buy milk. Of course, he liked milk and was painfully aware of the fact they were lacking milk at home, but that was beside the point!!! Had he been in better shape, he would have gotten it himself. Getting ordered to do it made it all three times worse of an experience.

So now he was on his way to the nearby store, oozing burky edge with every frowned step he took.

It was late, and the Parlor Ghost had business she needed to attend too. After becoming a cadet and all, she didn't really want to head straight home. Her kiddies would be fine as long as she called them later... Which she would, but she wanted to be alone for a hot second. She'd walk down a familiar path with little worry as she kept her hands tucked away in her coat pockets. Maybe there would be someone to stalk to keep her mind less busy? Maybe...

Luckily, it seemed a person stumbled upon her path. It was a teen, just some kid doing... Something. She wasn't really interested in a nobody brat buuuut... She was also in desperate need for a distraction soooooo into the shadows she went~. With a stopping of her steps, she let the kid move forward a few paces before following suit. She'd stick close to the darkest parts of the road, keeping her presence as minimal as possible. Heck, it wasn't like he'd even hear her... Unless she stepped on something but that wouldn't happen as long as she was careful...

Bathing in gloom, Frog continued his march towards the store. He couldn't have given less of a shit for his surroundings, so he definitely hadn't noticed some creepy lady starting to stalk him. All her presence gave him was a slight feeling of being watched. He hadn't noticed that feeling at first, but slowly it grew. Perhaps he was just paranoid since he'd become a Psyche Terrorist, but the sensation was amplified for some reason and Frog found his body growing stiff and his eyes frantically glancing around. His back straightened, but he kept looking only forward. It was a way to look less suspicious which only made him look more suspicious in the end. It was better than turning around to search for what was watching him. Were demons out this early in the evening? Or maybe it really were Cadets... Either way, he wanted to get to the store asap and then hurry home. But his step remained consistent as it was.

"..."
Frog bit his lip slightly, only to do something. He didn't wanna risk looking paranoid...it would definitely give him away. But then what to do...what to do..? The store was still beyong view... Too far away.

Frog continued walking.

She'd inwardly sigh as she stalked the boy. Was she loosing her touch? It felt like it... She was never this easily detected under normal circumstances. Though, she supposed she wasn't exactly in a normal mood. With a tilt of her hat, she'd look at the boy's back with very little of a care. He was young, not nearly an adult yet and with the way he stiffened she supposed he was suspicious. He couldn't know she was here though... What exactly was he afraid of? This enticed her... It was time to be serious.

And with that, she quickly dipped onto the other side of the street, taking care to hide herself into the shadows farther away from the boy's sight. Now, even if he did turn around, he'd find nothing behind him. With a small smile crossing the Ghost's face, she'd eagerly continue hunting this child. What secrets did he hide?

Frog still didn't want to look back despite the uneasy feeling. The streets were creepily barren despite the time of day, so something was definitely off. This must have been the work of those government dogs! They somehow tracked him down and somehow made everyone but him and his family aware of some curfew or something and were now following him! They were gonna arrest him and then do something to him! Gaaah-! Scary thoughts.

N-no, he couldn't let them. He was strong enough. He could face them! ...right?

Frog felt the urge to turn growing...until he couldn't keep himself from looking anymore and he turned around as swift as a falling leaf!!! Only to see an empty street. He looked in confusion at first, blinking a couple of times. Was it all just his imagination? It definitely could've been his weary mind playing tricks on him...but then why was he still feeling as though he was being watched?

Were they somewhere not on the street? IN THE AIR PERHAPS??? But the skies were empty. Then in the bushes? But there was no rustling. Tsk, he should have brought Titus with him. Titus would've scared his pursuers shitless, there was no question about that. But now he wasn't gonna move until he found the source of his paranoia. No more messing around.

Frog frowned, standing in place as he put his hands in his pockets imposingly.

He really was scared. She'd stay in the shadows, looking at his fairly bland face with a small tip of her hat. What exactly was such a normal person doing being so paranoid? Maybe he wasn't as normal as he looked? Eh, it was too soon to jump to conclusions but it was definitely odd behavior. Maybe he was bullied at school and more scared of normal things? Possibly.

She'd stay quiet though, lowering herself slowly to the ground to better hide herself behind the vending machine propped outside a dark store front. She was eager to see what he'd do... But getting a closer look at his frontal body made it easier to read him. Confidence may be something he held to strongly. That would mean he was either stupid or dangerous to mess with. She was leaning more towards the former in this case. What could he really do with how obviously scared he was before.

This was probably just a front in a lame attempt to scare someone off or to make himself feel better. However, something made her smile gently. That frown could mean a few things. Disappointment was her favorite choice out of them. Was he unhappy no one was behind him? Maybe he was a bit of a thrill seeker! That made this interesting~. She wondered how ghostly she could be... But honestly, she wasn't going to try and scare him. She wanted to hunt him for all the information he could provide. He was little more than a snack compared to that feast of a woman... But she could use a good snack to sustain her for the moment.

Short story short though, she didn't move besides hiding herself even further. She was invisible, undetectable unless through some other means than the eyes or ears. She made no noise and was out of sight. A perfect little ghost stalking its prey~.

Nobody was in sight and Frog started feeling slightly stupid trying to present himself as imposing where there was obviously nothing he was presenting himself to. After a couple of moments of staring straight ahead of himself he grumpily pulled his hands out of his pockets and grunted as he turned back en route to the store. Now he was really feeling like he was just imagining things even despite the relentlesness of the sensation of being watched. Almost made him wanna enter the shady store with a vending machine by the entrance he was just passing by just to stop this sharade. But he didn't. The place was dark as all hell, so no way was he gonna go near it. The only time he'd maybe do it was under his Princely disguise and with a whole buncha Psyche Terrorists backing him up. Yeesh. Nope, he was still gonna go to his trusty and lovely store, even if it was still a distance away.

So he kept walking down the road, trying to ignore the creeping feeling that was bugging him. He probably still looked damn suspicious and tense, but now he also quickened his pace only slightly but still noticeably. It was all getting on his nerves.

Frog was slowly reaching the limit of paranoia his tired mind could take.

And so he continued down the street. She'd smile gently as she slowly got up from her hiding place, waiting for him to get a safe distance away before following from the shadows once more. She honestly didn't know where he was heading... Maybe somewhere of some sort of substance? It was hard to say, but she didn't really care. She was enjoying his paranoia with leaps and bounds. She awaited his breaking point eagerly.

She honestly had very little to comment about his actions this time. He seemed somewhat down trodden at the lack of action, but that was to be expected. Maybe he really wanted to be spooked or something! Heh, if only she were a real ghost...

Regardless, she followed from the same distance as before, hiding within the shadows on the other side of the street. Shrouded eyes eagerly watching the boy.

Having had quickened his pace, there was now no longer a reason for Frog to hesitate on his journey. He rounded the corner swiftly, turning left into a wider street. At the far end of this street stood the impregnable fortress-a supermarket he was headed towards. His goal was in sight and he didn't want to take any longer than necessary. One step after another, he was accelerating, emboldened by the set goal he had. Unless stopped, it wouldn't take too long for him to reach the supermarket and waltz into the safe neon glow it provided.

Once inside, he sighed in relief as he found himself surrounded by people once more. The cashiers, old mouldy mustache'd ladies were his knights now. He felt welcome. And so he went over to do his business...

Frog exited the store with a full bag. It appeared rather heavy and he was having trouble keeping a normal pace while carrying it. However, he seemed to have forgotten about his previous predicament and wore a happy smile on his face, oblivious to any hidden pair of eyes that might've been following him. In this mood, he started walking back the way he came from.

She'd sigh as she watched the boy enter the super market. Of course her luck would just be the fact he was some dull kid going to buy groceries... He probably wasn't anything more than a bullied brat who wanted revenge on the world or something lame like that. She'd sigh as she'd lean against a building wall, watching the market with little care in the world. Well, if he wanted to be scared she might as well do so.

She'd wait silently for the boy to reach her position, her body carefully positioned against the wall to hide herself from his view. No words, no sounds, no image to be seen. Assuming he simply walked by without looking behind him, since now there were literally no eyes watching from behind, she'd grin widely before jumping out of the shadow with a loud shout, arms raised to make herself seem larger than she was.

She'd wait with gleaming eyes for the kid's reaction! It'd be utterly fantastic, in her opinion.

Frog was not expecting anything, but his mind was still subconciously alert after the little chase he had with thin air on his way to the supermaket. As he walked carefree, carrying the milk he'd just bought, he heard something.

And then saw a person suddenly popping up with their arms wide and flailing.

He didn't register it all at first, but in the next moment already he found himself swinging the heavy bag at the person whilst falling backwards onto his bum. He was ready for action even though he wasn't aware he was ready. So his own reaction came as a surprise to him, but everything ended up making sense. If somebody had followed him all the way here, then he wasn't gonna let anybody get near him.

The bag full of carton milks flew from the soft grasp of his fingers, completely missing the target and instead smashing into the wall. The bag ripped from impact as did all the milks inside of it, and both Frog and the mysterious pursuer got covered in the fatty white liquid.

Through the Looking Lens [Late Afternoon - Wandering Parlor Ghost] Qc98qVW

"What... The actual... HELL!!!"

The Parlor Ghost would scream, her eyes glaring at the brat once the initial shock wore off. Did he just try to attack her? The literal nerve! He was just some kid high on his own day dreams! Pfft, he didn't even have the mindset to aim correctly when in the heat of the moment. God, could people stop being so insufferable?

"Okay, so, get this. Hitting people works better when you don't miss like such a pansy. No wonder your whole aura is just wimpy trying to be strong! You can't even fake being the strong part!" she'd say with a persistent glare. She honestly didn't know what he was trying to prove here. Just, the actual nerve. He wanted to be scared and instead of getting a good reaction, he misses her and just stands their like a deer in head lights! Well... SHE WAS GUNNA RUN HIM OVER AT FULL SPEED!!!

"God, and I thought you'd actually be interesting. Pfft... Couldn't be more wrong." she'd say with a loud huff, shaking her arms to try and get some of the milk off of her. This was just gross... Thank the Lord she had a spare set of clothes at her parlor but still.

Frog could barely hear the woman that had apparently jumped out in front of him for no apparent reason from the seething boiling kettle that was his head at the moment. He didn't outright know she was the one he'd been feeling on his way here, but he was still gonna blindly assume it and direct all his pissiness at her. Because he was downright swaying on the edge after all the shit that had already happened earlier and now he was covered in goddamn milk. MILK!!! Oh the friggin' innuendos... He cringed a bit as he looked down at his soaked clothes and smelled the milk. MILK!!!

He had to go buy more milk now!!!

Frog jumped up, squinting at the woman with a frown on his face. He then looked over at the mess he'd made. It looked like someone had squashed someone's balls against the wall. Disgusting. No way was he gonna touch that shit. It was somebody else's problem now. His problem was that he was dripping milk with each step from his trousers and shirt and whatnot.

"So you were the one following me?" He grunted at the woman. She was spouting some nonsense how he wasn't interesting. Screw her, please, because she definitely had a few screws loose. And she didn't even try to hide the fact she'd followed him and stalked him on his way. Good news was she was just some crazy lady, and not a cadet. He yawned, covering his mouth with his hand lazily. "Okay then." He simply stated, but didn't move. He didn't want to go inside. He also didn't want to have to walk home doused in milk. He kept staring at her, not knowing what else to do.

She'd roll her eyes. For one, this kid was obviously crazy because there was no way he knew she was following him. She had been utterly perfect this stalk and that was final, but, she'd raise a brow and cross her arms. She wasn't about to be caught by some nobody weirdo.

"Following you? Pfft, please... Why would I follow you? I just saw you enter the store and thought it'd be fun to scare ya. I'm boooored and I gots nothing to do right now." she'd say with a roll of her eyes, looking away from the pointless person. He didn't leave though... So that was weird. What, did he think she looked good covered in milk!? Ew, freaking perverted kids these days...

"What, you look like you've seen a ghost or something... I mean, I am one... But still, most people tend to leave after they've covered someone in milk." she'd say flippantly with a raised brow. Did he just enjoy being weird? Well, she could appreciate that. She was weird and weird was amazing because it meant you weren't afraid to be yourself. Life lessons kiddies.

"Yeah right, like you were just waiting here for ME out of all people just to try and jumpscare me." Frog chuckled and put his hands into his pockets. They were hella sticky, he needed to get his phone out. And so he pulled the phone out and started wiping it against his butt to remove the milk, all the while grunting. He failed to register her saying that she was a ghost. Just a crazy person ranting about crazy stuff. "I ain't leavin'." He answered her, still inspecting his phone. He raised an eyebrow and looked from from the side. He had a feeling she was eyeing him a bit too intently. Hrngh. Was this woman really that crazy? Or maybe she really had nothing to do with her goddamn life. "Not until you apologize." He added after returning his focus to his phone.

"Goddamn..mrghgshrghsg..."
