| Social Links are an important game mechanic here that will help you grow in power and obtain new Personas. These "Social Links" are exactly how they sound. The bonds you create when meeting others and creating friendships. As your friendship grows, your Social Link will grow aswell. Each Social Link is directly related to the Arcana of the person you are rping with. By the end of the topic, a member of staff will determine if a Social Link is formed. When you have 10 meaningful encounters with another, and form a bond, your Social Link will be maxed. If you max out every Arcana, you'll one day be viable for your Ultimate Persona. You may have one social link for each Arcana type allowed on the site. When in a topic with multiple people, whoever you interacted with and had a closer bond with will be the one you'll form a Social Link with unless you seemed to have a strong connection with multiple people in the topic. If you have a Social Link with one player, and want to have it with another player with the same Arcana type, you can choose to have two bonds. Just incase someone leaves, you still have back up links to continue with someone else. Before this, however, you should make a character profile in this section. Simply make a topic with your character's name and each time you form a social link, or bond, with another player you will update this profile and put the topic link of where it was confirmed. Be sure to make a note on which topic gave what level of link, and with who. If you have any NPC family members or friends that are close to your character, you can also put them on your Social Link Profile. Just make sure to note them as NPCs to keep confusion down for the staff members. Examples of Profiles: https://newarcana.forumotion.com/t83-tsurinai-naito-social-linkshttps://newarcana.forumotion.com/t84-genji-kano-s-social-linksWhen you rank up three times alone with someone, a randomized stat of yours will increase by four points (HP, SP, Pmstr, Ppstr, Dx, Lk). The rank ups do not count if they were made in a group thread with multiple people, they have to be one-on-one unless you only take one social link in that group thread and do not take any else. The Judgment Arcana which ranks you up between your group does NOT count towards this stat boost. Rank by Rank Benefits:At certain ranks, there will be certain team boosts that can be acquired. Below will show what these are. Rank 2: Not today! | Users can protect each other from an attack, only experiencing 50% damage once per battle.
Rank 4: Team Attack | Users may now create a simultaneous attack that can be used for 1/3 of each of their SP. The damage performed counts as Tier 2 damage. They will add their stats involved with the attack together first, and then calculate that total amount with the tier +. Can only be used once per battle. You will add this attack to your Persona Compendium under your fusion attack. This can be remade each time a user gains a new Persona. - Code:
-
[b]Team Attack Name:[/b] [What is the name of your attack] [b]Team Members Involved:[/b] [Should be your names here] [b]Personas Involved:[/b] [Which Personas are used in the attack] [b]Damage Type:[/b] [Choose Two types of damage involved in the attack. Make sure you note which party member is doing what damage type so you can add up the damage using the stats used, correctly.] [b]Description of Attack:[/b] [What does the attack look like? What do you both do to perform the attack? Rank 6: Snap out of It! | Users may now help each other up if downed (from weakness, critical, etc), or snap their friend out of a mental status ailment (such as charm, distress, rage, etc). They can do this once per battle, and still attack the same turn.
Rank 8: Souls Unite | Users may now summon a replica of the other's soul bound weapon at will. In PvS combat the first dexterity attack you perform with this weapon will be a critical if the weapon's original owner has downed an enemy.
Rank 10: We're in this together! | Users can now share battle experience with one another, when in the same battle. This simply means, if Persona User A uses their Persona, it will count as a use for Persona User A and B. Same goes for if Persona User B uses their Persona, it counts as a use for both of them. This allows faster leveling when it comes to battles. Rank 10 also allows the users to evoke each other's initial personas once in a single topic and perform a skill. For Example, User A can evoke user B's Persona once a topic and use one of User B's skills.
- Velvet Attendants may share levels with the first Guest they reach Rank 10 only and accordingly gain stats.
- You may now share Demon Mask Personas with the Person you have Rank 10 with. However, if one of you equip it in battle, the other member can't equip it until they switch to another Persona.
