| There had always been an annoying divide between the first, second, and third years at Seven Stars Academy. Rarely did the three intermingle with one another outside of sororities and other similar kinds of social gatherings, though why that was the case was anyone's guess. There were no rules against students of differing years interacting with one another; at worst, it could be considered somewhat taboo, but even then it wasn't anything particularly strange, yet people still continued to avoid doing it. Perhaps that was part of the reason why Miyuki had decided to barge into one of the third-year classrooms. She had always been the rebellious type, after all, and it wasn't unlike her to defy social conventions simply for the sake of it. But there was another reason behind this, of course: she was looking for someone in particular. "Yooooo, Gagnon! You in here?" Her carefree voice rang through the classroom, attracting the attention of a multitude of students scattered across it, students who might as well have been mere props to her. Their watchful gaze clearly meant nothing to the second-year and she'd scan the classroom with inquisitive eyes that searched for her friend. It was lunch break and without anyone else available to eat with, it only made sense for her to track Batilde down. After all, what better way to spend the time than chatting with friends over a nice meal? ...that and she may have kind of forgotten her lunch. If she didn't mooch off someone else's, she'd be stuck going hungry. | |

| Classes... Being a wednesday, this paticular morning had been boring, and Batilde was usually not one to complain about school, but her Wednesday morning classes were just awful. Economics for an hour, some philosophy for another hour before finally finishing off that leg of the day with some good old fashioned Politics. Normally, she would be into this stuff, but... well, this was about Endymian politics, for one, which was filled to the brim with propaganda and all that, and little did it concern her in the long run, since she was most likely not going to stay in Endymion for very long. The other subjects were interesting, but her teacher in both those classes... didn't make that very apparent. Mr. Jones' old, naggy voice droned on and on, like an old vaccuum cleaner on the verge of collapsing in on itself. Not loud, enthralling or anything. Just monotonous and grating. So, when Lunch finally rolled around, Batilde was relieved. Boredom had finally left the classroom. She was just in the process of getting her lunchbox out of her bag when a familiar voice rang through the room. "M-Miyuki?" She asked, as her head shot up out of her bag, a bright smile on her face. What a good way to brighten such a boring morning! | |

| Her call was answered and she spun around to face the direction of the source of the noise. Strolling nonchalantly through the classroom as if she owned it, the girl would casually waltz over to Batilde and steal a seat from a nearby unoccupied desk, pushing it to the opposite end of the table and casually flopping down on it. Miyuki opened her mouth to speak, but she caught a glimpse of the bag and paused, a sly twinkle appearing in her eyes as she continued. "Hey there, Bagtilde." She said only for her grin to suddenly fade as a look of pure shame overtook it. "...wow. That pun was awful. Sounded a lot better in my head."
Whatever the case, Miyuki didn't linger on the subject for long and would swiftly move on. "But yeah, how're you doing? I figured we could have lunch together if you aren't too busy. Whaddya say?" Though she asked, it seemed she had little intention of leaving regardless of the answer given. Her course of action was already decided upon; that was just the sort of person Miyuki was. Well, that and she was sure Batilde wouldn't mind. After all, they were friends, weren't they? And judging from her reaction, the French woman was pleased to see her, so there was no real reason to assume she was busy at the moment or didn't want to hang around her. Who knew though? | |

| Batilde nearly cringed at her friend's horrible pun. Guess puns wasn't her forte. "Hehe, I'm doing pretty alright, all things considered. My morning was pretty dull and boring, but the afternoon looks alright." A light smile played on the girl's lips. There was just something about Miyuki that made her happy... Her first, actual friend in Endymion. Sure, Brittie and the other folks she had met thus far were nice and all, but really, they were just casual aquaintances, Miyuki felt more like an actual friend. Of course, that made sense, since the two had met more often than the rest. "Sure! That sounds lovely!" Her smile grew brighter as her friend made the suggestion of eating lunch together. She fiddled around with the contents of her bag, looking for the lunchbox. "Ah, here we go!" She exclaimed happily, picking up the blue lunchbox and placed it on her desk, waiting for Miyuki to do the same. Assuming she had even brought lunch with her in the first place. | |
