Lazy Cat Nap [Moonie]

"Most of the time?" That brought a hint of concern to Selenus's voice. "Now that I take notice... you do look a bit underweight... you're not only eating what the cats bring you, are you?" Selenus asked, half-joking, half-serious. While it wasn't exactly Selenus's place to worry over somebody else's child, he still couldn't help but feel bad for any child who wasn't getting enough food. He could only imagine or read about what hunger felt like, but from what all sources ever told him, it wasn't pleasant at all.

"Oh..." was the only reply Selenus gave to Zavie's comment about the old bakery. He himself could relate to how horrible it felt to lose a place you called home, though he didn't exactly know how similar the loss the Great Divide imparted on Selenus was to the loss it imparted on zavie here. He figured it would be best not to ask for now, as he'd already seen how potently talented the subject of that one night five years ago was at making humans crash like computers (Read: Miyuki Walker)

After a little bit of silence, Selenus noticed that the lack of further conversation wasn't a result of a lack of things to say, but rather the result of Zavie looking... well, for lack of a better term, like he'd just seen a ghost. "Helloooooo~? Earth to Zavie?"

Zavie was interested in what Selenus had been doing? Odd; didn't he hang out with 8D all the time? What interest would a child that's constantly exposed to a frendly lovecraftian abomination of a clown have for a simple robot like Selenus? "Unfortunately, life has been pretty ineventful for me. I moved to a new house, made some new friends, the usual." Selenus would've loved to tell Zavie that he was the Endymion equivalent of Robotic Wolven Batman and that now he was also Robotic Wolven Magical Psyche Batman Who Fights Demons... but unfortunately, that wasn't information he could afford to disclose. "Sorry to dissappoint. I met your friend Callie, though. She seems nice."

"It seems as if these cats have really taken a liking to you." Selenus would comment, mildly intrigued by the cats' strange affection towards this child. As far as he was aware, cats usually ran away from any animals bigger than them; hell, even from smaller animals, sometimes. "How long have you been with them?"

Selenus listened intently as Zavie gave his explanation about Callie and the aptly named kitty cat mercenaries. Selenus didn't necessarily dissaprove of children being interactive with animals, but Zavie seemed a little bit... how you say... obsessed? Eh, he's a small child, he'll get over it eventually, he thought. In his musings, Selenus checked his CPU clock and noticed what time it was. He'd spent too much time talking to Zavie! "Hey, not to shut you up or anything, but I really should be going. Why don't you visit me at work one of these days? I can tell you about my life then, if you want."

After Zavie replied and said his goodbyes, Selenus would leave the scene in leaps and sneaky bounds.
