| Snakeskin boots beat the pavement in a steady rhythm. 'tump tump tump.' Silk rubbed against silk in the most pleasing way, creating a soft, steady rustling. 'zwa zwa zwa' Gold clinked against gold on his chest as a counter-point to the silk. 'ch-chink ch-chink' Even the chord of his headphones occasionally joined in this beautiful harmony he was producing. 'tap! . . . tap!'
The rise and fall of voices around him flowed around him, through him, into his ears and through his brain where he could process the information. He didn't care what they said. It didn't matter what they said. The only thing that mattered was how it was said. Lilting sopranos, legato altos, smooth tenors and deep basses all flowed through. Separately, they were bits and pieces of nothing. Together, when they all came together for that one singular moment in time, they were perfect.
Of course, this was only when they spoke. Surely when they sung they were a different beast altogether. No one wished for an inharmonious chorus, especially not a producer like he was. He lived music, he breathed music, music was his only passion. Well, that and ramen. Today, no matter how much his mind turned the noises he heard into music, his nose and stomach were set on finding a good bowl of ramen. He had heard from one of his employees -secretary, contralto, possibly good for a quartet- that this was as good of a place to start as any. He didn't mind wandering the small streets for what he was looking for. As long as he heard harmony amongst the people here, there was no harm in what he was doing. So Keiko Hanamusa would continue to move through the small crowds in his expensive attire, looking but for a small, simple shop. | |

| ((It occurs to me that this has been up for quite some time. If someone wishes to join, I would be more than delighted. I also realize that I have not posed much as of late, and I do offer my most sincere of apologies. I will not let this happen again without warning.)) | |
