Keiko Hanamusa "Now, let's hear what you have to offer. Can you impress me?"
The Biography
Birth Name: Keiko Hanamusa Aliases: Phones, Shades Gender: Male Age: 30 Birth Day: January 8 Arcana: Temperance Place of Residence: Nokiwa (formerly of Shibuya) School Year: N/A Class: N/A After School Club: N/A
Job: Producer for Towa Records
Appearance:
Spoiler:
Everything about him screams 'modern' and 'rich,' from his 10,000 yen set of headphones hidden under the 1,000 yen haircut all the way down to his 5,000 yen pair of snakeskin boots. Keiko is almost never seen without his trademarked shades or his bright red headphones slung around his neck. Having lived in Shibuya until five years ago, he expects only the best from his surroundings, but he isn't afraid to go to a small ramen shop in Hayabusa for some seafood ramen.
Personality: At first glance, he has what appears to be a laid back, confident personality, but he has stayed in the game this long for a reason. He is a ruthless man, able to crush his competition efficiently and without mercy, sometimes without ever having to reveal himself to do so. He doesn't feel regret over what he does. After all, it's his job to find the best talent and get it out in front of the crowds, and he does that job well. It also helps that he has a somewhat restless nature about him, wanting to move all through out Japan to find the next great thing ready to burst forth.
The Potential
Strengths:
—Strength Name:Wealth —Description:He uses his wealth like some people use their clothes or words. It is both a source of pride for him and a way to intimidate people into doing what he wants them to do. If he cannot buy it, be sure that he will bribe the correct people into either stealing it for him or letting him 'borrow' it.
—Strength Name:Confidence —Description:He holds an air of cockiness about him, but it is not unjustified. He has been in the music business for 10 years and still going strong, with only three flops during that time and 15 major breakthroughs as far as stardom is concerned.
—Strength Name:Well-Intentioned Extremist —Description:Deep down inside that crusty little heart of Keiko's is an idealist. He believes people are stupid, and if he has to protect them from themselves then so be it. No measure of 'help' is too extreme, even when the person winds up dead or worse.
—Strength Name:Respect and Loyalty —Description:It is hard to earn the producer's trust, but once earned, it is never revoked without an extremely good reason. Even if a person doesn't have his respect, he will treat everyone with a certain amount of respect, depending on how he feels about them.
—Strength Name:All by Ear —Description:One of the reasons why he is so good at his job is because he can hear what people have to offer as far as music is concerned by just listening to them for thirty seconds or less. If he can't discern the potential by then, he doesn't bother.
Weaknesses:
—Weakness Name:From the Shadows —Description:He tends not to step into the limelight if he can help it. Rather, he would rather wait in the shadows to see if something turns for the better or for the worst and act accordingly. More than once, he has left allies to hang for their mistakes, washing his hands of the incident.
—Weakness Name:Smug Snake —Description:Due to his nature of hiding in the shadows and his personality, he can get disdainful of whom he interacts with. He can get cocky and underestimate his opponents when he looks at them. It takes a bit of slapping around to get him out of this mindset.
—Weakness Name:Distant —Description:'A good producer never gets involved with his emotions.' He has taken the saying one step further and not let his emotions get the better of him in most situations. When they do get the better of him, he is either severely underestimating his opponent or he is loosing his cool.
—Weakness Name:Steady Job —Description:Unfortunately for any future 'allies' of his, he actually has a job to do, and could care less about 'the kiddie games' that everyone is playing with one another. He will strike out on his own and do what he wants when he wants. He's not going to stop everything that he's doing because some brat wants him to.
—Weakness Name:No Mercy —Description:If you are in the way of his plans, he will not show any mercy to you. No, not even if you beg and say it will never happen again. Make one mistake involving him and it will be your last.
Soul Bound Weapon:
Weapon Name: Psych Pin Weapon Description: A pin that allows him to manipulate energy into a head of a dragon on either arm. He wears it on his lapel to avoid suspicion. He also has a tendency of shouting 'SUUUBMIT!' in a rather hammy voice. Weapon Image:

The Background
History:Keiko Hanamusa was born into a family where reputation meant everything.
Getting a reputation was easy if you were a doctor or a lawyer (which his father and mother were, respectively) but neither of them piqued his interest. People suggested he turn to politics, business, and the sciences. He didn't know what he wanted, but he didn't want any of them.
It was only when he was wandering about his home town of Shibuya at the age of 16 when he finally found his talent and a poor musician. It took a thousand yen to get the guy to agree and another 2500 yen to get them inside before shoving the poor musician into a booth and to have someone /hear/ what was clear as day to him. Fortunately, someone did, and the musician was signed on. Someone else signed Keiko Hanamusa on as an intern. Now, he knew what he wanted to do.
Fourteen years later, fifteen major hits and a number of other hits ranging from mediocre to very good, he has become one of the foremost producers, but his restless soul brought him to the region five years ago. Even now, he goes roaming to find new talent, new shops and new food places.
