Relaxation Gaming (Open for up to three others).

Takeru was at home, relaxing, and decided to log onto a MMORPG he had been playing for about 3 or 4 years now.
In that time, he had quickly become one of the most feared forces there.
With him, and a select group of others, they were the ones who almost every other player on there would look up to...
That is, if they were all together.
"Dammit. No sign of Mr.Macabre, or the others. Where the hell are they?" He said, realizing that he was effectively without his usual crew, which meant their combined badassery went down by a good 75%.
Which also meant they couldn't really kill any really good raid bosses.
"Dammit.... oh. why the hell not. Think i'll go help some other group. Otherwise, once we leave... who's gonna make a legend that's gonna surpass us?" He asked himself as he headed out.

"Hey. Anyone need backup or something? I'm free." He said online. While most other users would've immediately gone off because of his intimidating reputation, he knew that the ones most like to succeed him were the ones that stayed... and said yes.

"Ah, the Black Queen herself. Hello. And please, don't call us "ragtag", for we have all crushed many things much more powerful than you could handle. Of course, I mean no offense." Takeru said, knowing full well that, were he not down on the other 3, they could do so, quite easily. Hell, Ol'MM(Mr.Macabre) could do so by himself, as he recognized that armor as being something he recalled Macabre tearing through quite easily. Although that was a different opponent. Still, he knew that, unless the black queen were an idiot, she would know that as well, that against all 4 of them, nobody could win.
Not even the famous Black Queen.
But he knew that, he alone COULD beat her. Not a sure thing, but still powerful enough by himself to be a threat to her.
"How about a little match? Just the two of us. I'm hungering for a descent fight... and I think you'd make a nice hunt for meat to slake that hunger. Fair warning though: The rumors you may have hard about us are NOT exaggerated." he said, tone friendly, like two friends making a wager.

A message in text suddenly flashed across the screen as an eavesdropping player approached the two. Covered from head to toe in semi-rare drops and stupidly expensive cosmetic items stood the healer known only as dorito_gremlin421. Her avatar's multi-colored hair blew in the wind as she positioned herself beside Takeru's character and stood silently with a blank expression while the player behind the keyboard, refusing to use voice chat for unknown reasons, hammered away at the keys with moderate, completely unremarkable speed. "i can fll in 4 his healr. i got n0thing betr 2 do. can't fll rst of roles tho obvs."

With her heartfelt and eloquent speech finished, dorito_gremlin421 fell into a deep silence.

Takeru quickly ran a quick search on her stats. Not bad, certainly. A cleric of semi-usefulness. Nowhere near enough to be able to fight on equal ground with... buy still not enough. Even with what their leader gave them, he still couldn't win easily. And when he redid the calculations....
"Fine. I admit when I can't win... which is why I'm on recruitment scouting (don't ask) ... and you, black queen, are on the top of the list. Don't worry. Your current group will be well compensated, if you wish." He said, before turning to face th healer.
"Why don't you come along too? We need a new healer, our last one, ah... is indisposed at the moment. You'll have to train of course, but we can still use you." He said to her.

"Are you sure? If that's the problem, then don't worry. Our leader himself is a paying player. And like we said, we can compensate you fairly well. But if you truly wish to remain free, we understand. Although... I find it odd that if you consider yourself a merc, you refer to your previous clients as your "group"... my, you must be attached to them. I can respect that." He said to her.

An irritated sigh escaped from Miyuki's lips. Backing down like that after talking such a big game... Man, how pathetic. It was almost kinda funny in a way. Using the same emote that the Black Queen had used, her avatar would stare deep into Takeru's soul with a disappointed expression etched onto its face. "yare yare daze. ur such a c0ward." She'd type out and send before repeating the same emote once again. Disappointment consumed and disheartened her for a brief moment, but it was with the Black Queen's offer that she'd discover not all was lost. Her eyes locked onto the loot and her hands flew across the keyboard with a renewed sense of purpose and meaning.

"do u evn ned 2 ask? lol."

Accepting Shiina's offer without a moment's hesitation, dorito_gremlin241 quickly began equipping the new gear onto her character. With a gleeful twirl of her avatar's staff, the healer took a place by her benefactor's side and in celebration began to spam every spell with a short cooldown that she had hotkeyed. As for Takeru's offer, it'd be responded to with a simple, "myb s0me othr time." She had already agreed to assist the Black Queen, after all, and beyond that the memory of him backing down from his own challenge was still fresh within her mind.

Bernard was at a computer, bored as fuck that day you see. The Hoo had nothing better to do, now that she had human intelligence to some extent or another though. There was a controller hooked up to the PC, allowing Bernadette to..."Attempt" to control this, she had been watching her owner player these odd unusual games on the computer for some time right now. It was time for the young hoo to attempt to become even more of a meme on the internet. She had visited a trolling board known as 4chan or whatever tf you call it, posting owl memes at people for her own personal entertainment. So to some extent or another she could handle a video game.

Pecking quickly at the keyboard softly in order to type, she managed to log in to her own personal account DXxOpTicOwLxXD, a very unique username that nobody would suspect was an owl of all things in reality. Logging in, Bernard did not really give a shit. As she took the form of a literal snow owl just like herself in the game except it had armor and was like 3FT tall. Being a rather imposing hoo. Browsing through the game menu while rapidly pecking and clicking at all the buttons in order to actually operate the goddamn game.


The bird would then soar down like an eagle and rise into the air majestically near takeru upon seeing the message.

Was it a bird!?

Was it a Plane!?

NO ITS!... ITS!...

Fucking Bernard.

As the owl perched itself on Takeru's characters shoulder, there was no hiding she was a paying player. To be specific a paying player that took her owners credit card to obtain a few...Things. Oh my, I couldn't help but hear you wanted to get ganked!An elegant lady like voice came from bernadette, through her microphone.After all because she had the ability to speak. She could.  Can I have all your money Pls ;D she typed the last Emoji out as she spoke. Before noticing the infamous black queen, and some  motherfucker with hair there. However, Bernard had no fucking idea who the black queen was. Helloooooooooooooooooooooo!, Are you with him?The owl simply asked wondering if these were his party members or anything.

It seemed these damn normies were not going to reply to Bernard at all.

Fuckin normies, that was how they wanted to play the game, Bernard could play it better!

The guy she had said she was gonna gank apparently did not respond at all, and to that Bernard would initiate pvp and attempt to directly attack him.Her class was a very unique one you see, one that only an owners credit card could afford.

The Hoosassin. A one of a kind class that was very High DPS,High Mobility/High Escape and very little HP. In a sudden blink 1/4th of Telos's characters HP would be gone, and then Bernard would execute the rest of her dastardly PVP manuever, a Hack and slash hoo combination on Takeru's character consisting only of the most refined rogue DPS Pain in the ass skills that everyone who's played World of Warcraft, Allods Online, Tera, and NormieWatch would understand the true pain of dealing with.

Telos due to not reacting at all would have a hard time formulating any sort of battle strategy with an attack that came so rapidly, so suddenly, and so quickly without any warning almost whatsoever given he had refused to act. As Telos's character would fall to the ground. Bernard would take the time to let out a victory cry over the microphone.


Anyone who had watched and heart this spectacle go on would be left with a sense of confusion, wondering what kind of psycho was behind the computer screen. As Bernard would attempt to chat up the others. Are you guys still there?
