Questionable Content

Selenus expected a variety of possible reactions Nola could give to his words, but what he did not expect was for Nola to get out of her seat and hug him. Out of all the words that Selenus could've used to describe the moment... "Cathartic" oddly felt like the best one. All the thoughts and emotions that conflicted in Selenus's head due to the recent developments... gone; only the tender embrace of an adorable small child. "Yeah... I guess I do."

Checking the clock in his HUD, Selenus nearly jumped at the sight of what time it was. "Welp. If I want to be on time for repairs and that dinner with Tatsui on the same day, I'm gonna have to get going soon." He stood up and relocated the knives on the floor to their respective holsters/paws. "If your parents ask where I went, tell them you sent me to the store or something. I'll try to be back before long." Selenus leapt onto the windowsill and scanned the area for anyone who would see him drop down. After seeing that it was all clear, he prepared to jump. "Oh, and Nola?"

Trinity nodded when Selenus commented that he had her and she only held on a bit longer, holding the hug as she wanted to be sure he was feeling better, she didn't like how he sounded sad though she could sort of understand why he would given what he had just reveled to her. He seemed alone, or he felt like he was, and Trinity wanted him to know that she was there for him if he didn't mind her being there, After all no one was truly alone as long as they had someone that cared for them.

Hearing Selenus start to speak again she looked at him as he slipped out of her hug and she nodded "Okay...We will see you later, but be careful out there okay?" she said as he put the knives back on himself, she then listened to him give her an excuse to use if her parents asked her about his whereabouts, and she nodded, technically it was true, he was going for repairs after all so he was technically going to a store for something. "We will say that, We don't want them worrying after all" she replied before she watched him go to the window and she tilted her head as he asked for her attention, and as he thanked her she nodded as she waved to him "No need for thanks, just come home soon We will be waiting" she said to him as he left before she turned back to her computer and started to cross out the songs that Selenus had mentioned having an issue with.
