| Inside, the palace was as grand as it looked. The group was gathering around the throne room, and making a semicircle by the chair, where a man in strange armor sat, leaning his chin on his fist as people came inside. He said nothing, and in fact it appeared as though the man was as said, incredibly ill. His face was pale, and anyone who knew him could recognize that his cold stature was replaced with a hunched over face of almost silent agony. He appeared sweaty, and shook in his throne as others gathered around.Dio would only go inside if Nozomi did, and inside, he would be chuckling, which drew glares at how inappropriate it was at the praying for his health. Angela meanwhile would be walking inside and staying away from the group and off to the side of the throne room entrance. As everyone walked through in the room, the cracks on the palace became more and more prevalent, however no one seemed to say anything, as if they didn't notice. | |

| Its intention was to not follow Nozomi, but rather to back out and regroup with the members of the current group it was aligned with. It had questions that it wanted to ask, but it seemed that Fate had a different way of answering its curiosity. Now what did Fate do to keep it right where it was? Simple. It presented it with a woman that had a name that sounded similar to the one of the angels of old. It could’ve been a coincidence sure, but Oki had wanted to be sure and so had attempted to approach the gate guard that bared the strange name; however, as it approached the woman went inside of the gates.
At first Oki hesitated at this as it stood before the gates thinking to let them close and shut it out; however, after a moment or so it would step over the threshold and into the inner area where a palace of beauty and majesty awaited those that flowed in. It would follow behind Nozomi pausing as the other spoke about not moving. To his words, Oki would stay still for a moment thinking before it actually spoke.
“Perhaps the cracks do expand with movement. Or perhaps if only you move. Let’s test yes?” the creature said and then without permission or a yes. It would take a few steps forward and pass Nozomi before pausing again. The movement seemed carefree, the action perhaps reckless. Did the creature not care about this world? Or was the being actually trying to demonstrate something? It was hard to say. Even harder to say as the creature looked above them for a while, searching the areas for cracks, and then if nothing had happened, it turned and looked at Nozomi a few feet behind it. It would hold a hand out to him.
“Now you try,” it would say gesturing for him to come to it. It would wait for a bit longer before it would eventually drop its hand to its side and look over at the gathering around them. They all seemed to be coming inside and gathering where sickly man resided. That must've been the king. It would watch the actions of the residents for a moment before looking back at Nozomi (and the others if they had come with them).
“The king seems to be very ill…though why that is so funny we do not know,” Oki would say as its eyes narrowed and slid to the one called Dio. It wasn’t sure what was going on there or if it was his nature to simply laugh things off. Whatever the case was, his actions seemed rather rude to the creature and apparently those that had gathered to pay their respects to the king. It honestly didn’t get this one, but it would keep an eye on him nonetheless.
Knocking Dio and the strange behavior of the residents to the cracking sky in the back of its head for now, its suspicious expression would soften as it looked back at Nozomi waiting to see if he would do anything…or for that matter anyone else in their group that had followed. If no one took the lead then it would have to do so.
As it was waiting, it felt an uncomfortable tug in its chest that for the first time ever made it frown a bit as it unconsciously rubbed the spot where its heart was. It wasn’t sure what that was about, but it almost felt as if it had lost connection with something, but what it had no clue. Hopefully that was nothing to be concerned about...

| Well, this palace was sure something else, that Danielle couldn't deny. Even her own home in Eirini paled in comparison. Then again, was there really any point in comparing a mansion to a castle? Not really, no. The two were completely different in terms of class and structure. She didn't exactly know what the purpose of coming here was, so for now, she'd stand by the sidelines, watching carefully as the events unfolded. Maybe this would give her a clue of sorts on what to do next? | |

| She'd ignore Nozomi and any else who commented on her outburst. Unnecessary, yes, but so was a lot of things like the boy's failed attempt to be confuting. Warranted? If someone denied that, she'd up and leave if someone was petty enough to target her like that. However, she did pay notice to the sky cracking. This bothered her immensely... And it didn't take a rocket scientist to tie the cracking with the boy's stepping. What was happening...? What was that boy, exactly? She wanted nothing more than to possibly stay outside the gate, but not knowing what would happen if she did with the seemingly dying world around her, she had no choice but to go inside.
She looked up at the man. There was no doubt who he was now... She wanted to ask questions, but he seemed so frail, so weak. It made her hesitate for a moment. She really just wanted to leave all this. Information was one thing, but she wouldn't really be allowed to investigate the way she wished with people like that boy here. He'd simply take charge and shut her down. Tsk... Just perfect...
She'd take a step forward though, giving the man on the throne a bow. Regardless of his stature in their world, if he was even the same person, he was a king here. Respect was warranted, especially in his frail state. She didn't want to do anything to damage her chance at helping him, or to gather information.
"Greetings, king Rhodes. If you would allow us, we were told people were paying their respects to you today. May we do so as well?" she would say calmly and with the utmost respect. She wasn't really sure how to go about this situation... But, kind introductions were in order at first. Yes, that was what she'd do at first.

| Raina's outburst revealed some intriguing information, she mentioned that her son died while exploring the other worlds, it could be any other person but he couldn't help but think about Nilo. Just thinking about that day made him feel uncomfortable, it would be better if he just ignored the possibility.
"What the..."Nobody noticed the cracks, which made things even more weird, something was about to happen, he could tell. This time Blaez would remain by Nagisa's side should something bad happen.

| Nozomi went fuck it, you know what. The world was coming to an end, and he would have to enter regardless himself to be honest. The boy could not stand around forever. Huh shit. I don't know what's going on, but everybody be on guard!I think something could happen at any second. The Wild Card had proceeded to walk in, having taken Deshis hand and following her he figured.being very careful of the area and rather on guard to just about anything that could possibly attack him. If anyone attacked, he would be ready for them. If anything burst out of the wall purposley here to fuck him over, he was ready for that. His eyes were carefully concentrated around him, things looked rahter suspicious. Though he would inquire with Dio who had tried to walk in with him. Dio. Do you know anything about what's going on over here...?Or...Uhm these cracks exactly. He had to try asking him at the very least correct..? |

| To Raina, Rhodes coughed heavily while covering his mouth, and nodded. He tried to open his mouth, but only weak words came out in its place. "I@%P^*!9@O(%&@)(%VJSFIHOE@)*%^" He said, which to the others seemed like complete gibberish. As he spoke, what appeared next was a strange sight. Fragments of the top of the palace were starting to fade out of sight-completely vanish. No one seemed to notice it outside the group. Angela looked up with a stare at it. Her eyes turned from the inquisitive and bright nature from before to a depressed bleak state, like something had just knocked the hope from her in the same way one got the wind knocked from them. When Dio was addressed, he turned his head loosely to Nozomi and giggled some more. "who me? oh no, i don't know anything. i just know that this world just got unbalanced by your home. so it won't be long before we get forced to the next. but you and i gotta talk before that happens friend, preferably alone though. your other friends bother me." He yawned, as he began to wave his hand out, and a small little hole the size of his hand formed in front of him. Soon it would grow, revealing images of a strange city, that looked as though it came from the future, filled to the brim with technology. "you don't need to go here. just your friends. we can wait here. but i would say trust me, cause they might have to go through another swim, and i am trying to be as nice as i can for their sake, as weak as they are." | |

| Oki would stay quiet as it simply observed the group with it. Some in the collected group seemed to ignore the cracks while others took note of them. As for residence of this world, the only one that seemed to acknowledge the cracks was the gate guard. Everyone else here simply went about their business as if things were normal. Why such a contradiction?…Unless she was out of the loop like they were, but then what did that mean? What was the gate guard’s significance really? Was she really a guard…or a form of guardian….and what was with that look she gave the sky….?
Oki would ponder this, its eyes shifting to Nozomi as he decided to take its hand and move forward.
“Maybe you are right, but we will be prepared for it,” Oki would say as it gave Nozomi a light nod of encouragement, despite wanting to go earlier, the creature’s resolve seemed to have settled. It was going to see this through to the end. It would walk along side the other as they entered the grand place. Moving slightly to the side, it would observe the scene keeping an eye on everyone that was with them – Nozomi, The quiet man, the strange child from another world, and Ms. Raina and her friend…All of them. For the most part the creature would observe and listen.
It would take note when Raina moved to pay her respects to the king. While it did not say anything as it observed this behavior, it would keep its manner humble and respectful enough of the King not bothering to interfere as long as nothing hostile was being done.
The king seemed to take to this rather well…It guessed. He tried to speak, but much like the world, he to seemed to be broken too, the words were hard to understand…and it seemed that something much worse was happening. The condition of the area was worsening. It was almost like it was data being eaten away by something….but what?
The creature wasn’t sure, but kept the details locked away for now as it turned to Dio and listened his answer. To the blonde’s words the creature would tilt its head as it gave the other a suspicious look.
“So you say and yet you seem to know much,” the creature said as it watched the other for a moment not sure what to think of him. He was a strange one…and to be honest it couldn’t trust him. Maybe it was the guy’s attitude, but everything about him just felt off…even more so when he was opening portals to technological cities and suggesting everyone go to said city and leave Nozomi behind with him.
Oki had to admit the option was indeed tempting to take, but….It wasn't exactly one to go back on its own words without reason.
“…And if we decided to stay…what happens then?” the creature would ask its eyes looking at the city the portal revealed…

| Danielle bowed towards King Rhodes as well. "Well met." Of course, she didn't understand what he was trying to say, which was a little worrisome. He looked terribly ill... "My Name is Danielle Brooks, and I've come here in the name of Philemon in hopes of aiding your world, and hopefully all others as well." She would promptly stand up, and noticed the large bubble that Dio had made... No, it couldn't be, could it? "Where does this lead...? It looks... familiar..." She had a hunch... But why there, of all places? Sure, perhaps they would be safer there, but she didn't like the prospect of leaving Nozomi, her fellow wild card, alone here. "With all due respect, I'd like to stay with him if I can. Our job is the same, after all." | |

| The widow had no idea what to say. This wasn't a possibility she had thought about and it stunned her for a few seconds. A language she did not understand at all. But, there had to be someone here who could understand. That much had to be true. How did he possibly rule if no one understood him. She thought, nodding her head at the man's words before an idea popped into her head.
"Clarita... Please, find the gate keeper and hurry." the widow would say before sitting down and placing her journal wide open on the ground. Translation... As much information as she could receive in a short period of time. But she needed the gate keeper in hopes she was a translator.
"Say no more, my dear... I will be back soon." the doll maker would say before looking around and running towards the gate keeper, Angela. They needed her help and fast. This place was disappearing and without some sort of knowledge... What would they do?
"Miss Angela, is it? My ward requires your immediate aid. Please, come now if you are capable of translating the king's words." she'd say quickly and to the point, going to gently grab the gate keeper's hand in hers. They needed her help... Without it, they would be in trouble. A hopeless journey without any form of aid was insanity.
"My king, if you could answer some questions... I would be forever in your debt. We do not have much time it seems... So please allow me to gather as much information as I can from you."" the widow would say, ready to write down every non-sensible word she heard from the king. Even words that made no sense could be translated... She needed to know how to make this better. That was the simple truth.

| "Uh... Does someone here speaks gibberish?"He let out a sigh, things were getting even more confusing, how did people not notice that? The only person outside the group who had noticed what was going on was Angela and she appeared to be in distress. "Good grief... what the hell is going on here?" He stopped bothering with Angela and the King, he felt like he wouldn't get much information out of them, and instead listened to Dio's conversation with the rest of the group. Dio then conjured a bubble, definitely another portal, and told Nozomi should stay while the group should enter it. "Not doing it, at least not without information, kinda tired of wandering into other worlds without a single clue..." He said in a rather annoyed tone while covering his eyes with his cap visor. | |

| Huh wait. Can anyone here kindly speak his language?Dio are you capable of that?Nozomi figured to attempt to try that right now. Then came Dio's unusual laughing and the way he regarded the situation that just did not seem to make any sense whatsoever to Nozomi. Why was this guy laughing, what was going on here, why was this man sick as hell and the area above them collapsing?Listen. I'm not blindly following you anywhere. You explain to me here and now, because I don't see the harm in these people hearing so either, get to the point. I'm not here to dawdle around while stuff is clearly going on around us.If Dio tried anything funny, Nozomi was on guard and ready to react by any means possible right now provided this guy turned out to be bad, or a criminal, or something suspicious. Just why was he trying to seperate Nozomi from his temporary companions? It's n ot like he was in the position to trust anybody alone right now, given how his last "encounter" in the previous world went. A crazy hoe named Shani trying to end him,
I respect your kindness, but this group is not splitting up. That's dangerous and can get people killed easily. Tell me what the purpose of this place is, and what the purpose of uh..That place is if you may? We'd greatly appreciate that right now. We're all tired of randomly appearing in places we do not understand for literally no reason that we are aware of.The Kichida was not about to stand around and allow the world to control him, fuck you destiny. Was what he was thinking, in life you had to take charge in moments of unsurity and blah blah insert some deep thing here. |

| Dio shrugged his shoulders. "i'll have to force you to move on. You should probably help them through so they can move on. time's a-wastin'!" With that said, he would make another rift behind him, which had a featureless black void in view. - Dio:
HP: ??? SP: ??? PEnd: ??? MEnd: ??? Pmstr: ??? Ppstr: ??? Dx: ??? Lk: 9999
Aquarius: ??? Suddenly be standing right where Nozomi was, while Nozomi suddenly had a different view of the palace they were in. In fact, it was literally the ground he was standing on. Nozomi had moved back, or more accurately, they had switched places. What Nozomi didn't know was Dio's full strength, or rather, speed. He had ran right behind Nozomi, and shoved him into the black rift. If Nozomi knew what was coming and somehow dodged it, it would be a miracle, but the odds of that were literally 0%. Dio chuckled at the joke he just made and turned to the others, as the palace began to fade, people around them starting to vanish. Angela herself however was not disappearing. "you kids have fun. i think you should head on over, before you get swallowed by a big belly. its name is the core. just keep on going, i need to get with nozomi into something more private," and with a sly smile, he hopped into the rift that closed quickly behind him, as the world faded. Were their efforts here for naught? It seemed they had more time to decide if they should stay, but the rift to the new world remained...
As for Nozomi, he found himself soon to be part of a huge joke. Only this time the punchline wouldn't be so funny...

| Fate is a bitch sometimes, isn’t she?
While it was true Oki was curious as to what was on the other side of the portal presented to them, the creature was also very leery of what all this implied. Dio wanted Nozomi alone, but why that was the creature did not know and to be honest would’ve loved to stay around for answers; however, things would take an unexpected change. Just as Oki moved to stand by Nozomi, it would find it eyes widening as unexpectedly Dio would move at unbelievable speeds getting himself between the pair before pushing the other into a strange void. It all happened so fast it did not have time to act and about time its mind caught up to what had just happened, it was too late. Dio took Nozomi and managed to get away too! His laugh and smirk was burned into the creature’s mind feeling it with a bit of fury.
“Damn,” the creature would growl as it bowed its head as its eyes glowed a bit with the agitation it felt at the whole situation. That one...had speed at his side...and in turn Oki couldn’t match said speed to stop him and now Nozomi was gone and while the creature indeed wanted to follow, it had a bigger problem on its hand. Mainly, the world that was beginning to fade. Dio had mentioned the core was swallowing this place...meaning the situation was getting worse and its own mission left unfulfilled. Had it wasted too much time with its travels? Or could the mission still be completed? Maybe and then again maybe not. Even so Oki would swallow its anger as it looked at the remaining group with it.
“As much as I would like to wring the neck of our little thief, we have bigger problems. This world is fading so we should move through the door that has been left open for us by said thief as we are unsure if this can be halted in any way,” it would begin as it looked around at the things fading around it. It would observe this for a moment before looking over at the widow and her “Ms. Raina , Clarita...we understand you do not like being with this group; however, can Oki ask you to come with us on this odd path we have before us?” the creature would ask her in gentle tones. It understood she wanted to do things on her own, but at the same time they kind of needed to stick together to survive this. ...and while it was sure she didn’t need protection it just felt better knowing she was with them.
Turning green eyes to the other three, it would continue.
“Blaez, Danielle, Angela. We would like you to come too. We are not sure what happens when a world fades, but I don’t think we want to be see what happens when it collapse while we are still here. So please. Come?” it would say leaving the option for any of them to take a different path. Regardless of what the others did, Oki for one would be going to the other world to do some digging and perhaps find a way to get Nozomi back. After all it still had something it needed to complete before time ran out for them all.

| Well... he didn't give her much of a choice, now did he? "Grab as many people with you as you can, and go into the portal. We can't wait here any longer!" She stopped for a short moment, looking at Nozomi. "I know we just met, and all that... But please, be careful. I'm not sure I can save all the worlds by myself. Don't worry about your friends. I'll keep 'em safe." Nozomi had to trust her on this, since the worlds were collapsing at a faster rate than before. Danielle would hurry over to where Angela stood, with her being the closest one she could reach. Without a word, she would grab a hold of the woman's hand, and pull her through the rift to this new, unknown world... Hopefully, it was somewhere more safe... | |
