Does this outfit make me look fat? [Gabe]

As soon as Athena got dressed for her first day at class zero she left her house clad in her brand new uniform, since she was above the other students she might as well look the part. The girl wouldn't deny how much she desired the complements or the glares of jealousy from her ex-classmates, she didn't even need to try any fancy tricks to become the leader of the managers sorority, everyone would vote her just to get on her good graces, not to mention the other privileges she was going to abuse. The risk might have been greater but the reward was even better.

Still there was one person Athena wanted to show off more than anyone, not out of spite or vanity but simply to earn his affection. Her neighbor Gabe had been rather charming so far, enough to pique Athena's interest. From her personal experience she knew that if you admired someone it was easier to fall for them, most of the guys who flirted with her had confessed that she was admirable at some point. With her purse on her shoulder and her new hat on her head she left her house only to walk a few steps and ring Gabe's doorbell. She would wait for a reply and if it was Gabe the one who answered she would strike a pose and say:

Gabe answered the door and grinned. He was in regular clothes, but it didnt seem like he was going to go out anytime soon. " At this rate, i'd say you need to ditch the scale, not enough numbers...." Gabe would then clap his hands loudly. "Congratulations, i had a feeling you was talented but this is actually quite different. Well, were quite diff erent now. I'm just a reular person and it's like you are an actual super hero. " Though she was, she was even above the law now, how will she use this to her advantage. "How does it feel? What about the elections, dont want to be president anymore? I did get a few people to vote for you, but having the modeling job, risking your life as a cadet , and taking on after school activities. I just hope you'll be ok doing all of this. " Gabe, actually showing concern. The cadet next door, sounds like some erotica that involves gabe gettig the shit kicked out of him once hes revealed to be a "terrorist"

"You worry too much, Gabe. I'm going to be fine." Athena replied, the true work of a cadet was during nighttime and even though she still had to attend school she was going to be able to balance things out. "As about the president matter I'm still going for it, though as a cadet I'm certain most of the people will vote for me, just so they can be my friends." Athena stared into Gabe's eyes with anticipation. "Come, as a cadet it's my duty to make sure the citizens of our city are taken care of, I'll company you to the school grounds and make sure that no terrorist disturbs you." She added, of course being attacked by terrorists wasn't likely, after all they only showed up during the night.

"As you can tell it's pretty clear what I did since we last spoke but what about you? I have to admit you look somewhat different. Did something exciting happened to you as well?" She started asking, not so much because she wanted to find out Gabe's schedule but mostly out of the need to find a good topic to discuss.

"Is that still winning? I think the best form of loyalty is showed when the people who vote for you or support you do so when you didn't necessarily have all of this positioning or high standing to show off from the getgo. It might be a bit tiring if you find yourself constantly surrounded by fake people, you know?" That was one oof the reasons Gabe worried, he wanted Athena to be surrounded by her real friends at least. "Oh? Do i look so weak that i need protecting? I do go to the gym every now and again you know? I dont think it's that terrible. " Gabe would smile, trying to form a muscle with his arm.

Though, his eyes raised when she asked did he look different?" Well, from how i can tell, maybe you're actually "looking at me" for the first time instead of looking at me? Maybe the way you see me has changed? " Though he had her at the door for a while. "Want to come inside? I'll make tea for you."

"It's fun when everyone who used to dislike you treat you with respect, you can see how uncomfortable it makes them... especially when you push things a bit too far, though revenge can be sweet if done right." Athena commented with a rather malevolent tone, she wanted to make Gabe understand that she was going to enjoy the little games of power her new job offered. Gabe jokingly flexed his hand to show off his muscles in order to prove he wasn't weak and thus he didn't need her protection, Athena herself was pleased with what she saw, she always favored men who worked out. "Oh my... sir, I hope you know you're not allowed to own firearms in Endymion, please show me your licence for these 'guns'" She joked as she reached to feel his muscles, surely this would make her intentions clear to Gabe, after all modest girls weren't supposed to touch other guys in such manner.

Gabe seemed a bit taken aback when she mentioned that he was looking different, was it because of her touch? Athena wondered if he wasn't really interested in her or perhaps he was the type of guy who liked to be the aggressor, she could play the prey for him. In the end he invited her in, a nice chance to spice up the ante. "Why yes, I would love to." Athena said as she walked inside her neighbor's house making sure to pass extrymelly close to him before she entered.

Living next door to a cadet, how quaint. She's already thinking about things like revenge, which isn't something Gabe himself is beneath. If he felt wronged and there was a way to get even, he wouldn't doubt that he would at least try. So maybe he was trying not to be too much of a hypocrite. Though, feeling on his arm was something unexpected. Gabe wasn't like Ryu in any sense who practiced martial arts with it seemingly standing as if having a strong body was apart of the job. He just did natural exercises just like everybody else and was above average. Long story short, Gabe blushed a little bit.

As she passed in so closely to Gabe, he nagged to catch a smell of her perfume. It smelled expensive, and quite wonderful. After she came into his house, Gabe would shift his hand over to the living room as he went into the kitchen. It was a rather nice house, neat and clean. Maybe it was a little apparent that some of the sections werent used too much with a little bit of dust, due to the fact that it was a family house. "What would you like? Black? Mint? Herbal?"

Athena scanned the place around her before she took the liberty to sit on Gabe's sofa, it was a well kept place, even though she was able to spot some dust Athena was certain that she would have made a far poorer job than him at keeping a house tidy, she barely cleaned her own room to begin with. "Black would do, especially if you have cream." She said as she removed her jacket. "So much for buying this. The weather is still too hot for that kind of clothing, can't fight crime if I'm all sweaty." Athena joked as she placed the jacket next to her, she was wearing a sleeveless black shirt underneath it with a red ribbon around the neck. "Ah it feels so good being rewarded for all my hard work, being accepted into the ranks wasn't easy there was a test and all. The judges were especially stick... and aggressive." Athena knew she wasn't allowed to share the details of the ritual with anyone but no laws prevented her from hinting some of it's aspects.

"How interesting, you like to have cream in your tea?" That was interesting to say the least. "But maybe you meant coffee? If thats the case i'll make that for you instead." Miscommunication seems to happen from time to time. Gabe didnt think that he wouldn't be able to work around it. After putting the kettle on, Gabe would then have a seat from across her. "Well, does it mean that being apart of class zero requires to be in uniform all the time? At night, its a little cooler and not alot of sunlight. You should be able to be alright if thats the case. " Gabe raised his eyes when she mentioned the judges. "Stick? You mean prickly enough that you were left with a splinter? Thats quite peculiar... but its nothing you are able to handle. You are quite capable, and beautiful to boot. "

She was, wasnt she? " I'd ask you how it's like but id ranter not seem like a screaming fan boy. Athena, i'm honestly happy for you, and i'm sure youll be able to do great things. I wonder how your parents feel about it.

"No you misunderstood... I really put cream in my tea. I know it sounds weird but that's the only way I can drink it, though that only applies to black tea the rest are still not good enough." She corrected him as soon as she could, she had done it a lot of times since everyone assumed she wanted coffee every time she was asking for cream. "I'm sorry I still get confused with expressions, what I wanted to say about them was that they were emotionless, but at least I want to believe that I did better than the other recruits."

"My mother worries too much, though she worries about everything all the time so nothing new there. My dad on the other hand seems rather pleased, he is a police officer so he's just happy I'm following his footsteps, my poor brother is now on the spot, he's going to listen to a lot of "why are you not more like your sister lectures" from now on."

"Oh, it's ready.." Gabe would say as he got up and listened to the other's explanation as to her actually liking the cream in her tea. "Ahh... very well, i'll be sure to have that for you momentarily. " Gabe would say with a smile. After taking her tea and making his own herbal tea, Gabe would sit down next to her and set her tea aside. "Black tea, with cream. Just the way you like it?" Gabe sat and watched, hoping nothing was wrong. "I can make it again if you want... you are my guest. " At the very least, Gabe wanted to be hospitable to her.


"Emotionless? Well, i would figure since you are higher than the police force and you cant have emotions cloud your judgement. Me on the other hand, i like to feel something, anything. Whenever from art..music...." Gabe would then look to Athena with a charming smile. "A person..." Though, after that bit of flirting, Gabe would then think about what Athena was saying before about her family. " Well, it seems to be an overall unanimous decision of everyone being happy for you. Which is good, most support comes from the household, no?

"I guess you're right. Though the way things are I think that everyone would want their child to be part of the cadets, even though it's a dangerous job it can really raise one's social standing, don't you agree?" Athena asked as she sipped a bit of her tea, the familiar fixture of tea and creamed filled her mouth, she closed her eyes to savor the taste before she swallowed. "Speaking of parents. What can you tell me about yours, I don't believe I've ever met them." She wondered in what kind of environment Gabe had grown into, he had said that he used to be sickly as a child, this could only mean he spent a lot of time with his family, surely he had some experiences to share.

What can i tell you about my... parents...huh?" Gabe closed his eyes, taking a sip of the tea and placing it gently down on the table. "Well, my mother was a nurse practitioner. My father inherited some stocks in a famous hotel and sold it off. After that, he used the money to start a tailor business, and he would make the most amazing suits. It would feel as if they were made just for you. Suits and dresses. Gowns and ties. Even gloves...." Gabe would say as he made a gesture with his hand. "That is why you see me wear clothes like that, its mostly the Gatsby brand thats custom made from my family. As for my mom, she was kind and nice, and she cared about people. Whenever i would get sick, she would take off of work just to nurse me back to health. " Gabe would say to her, giving athena a bit of his memories.

"Aww Gabe that's very sweet." She commented as she took another sip from her tea, Athena had noticed that Gabe was using past tense when he referred to his mother which made her assume she was no longer alive. "You must have had an interesting childhood, despite your difficulties. It's a shame we didn't know each other back then. I get the feeling we would have turned into best friends." She decided not to push him further about his parents. "I'm glad you invited me but duty calls. I'll be heading for my first investigation today. I wish I could tell you more but all cadet assignments are classified." Athena lifted herself up from the chair. "Maybe we can walk to school together tomorrow. I could share some of my adventures with you then."

Heh, you did have a best friend. The girl that you mentioned before. I was homeschooled for a while, so i don't know when we could of met. At the very least, would you want to spend your time with me in my room, due to the fact that i couldn't go out as much as i wanted to because of my health?" Gabe then shook his head. "I wouldn't wish that on you, wouldn't want you to get bored because of me. " It's not like he doubted they could of got along in the past, but as soon as Gabe was able to move, he was conning casinos and doing tricks in the park, he was a bit of an edgy teenager if anything. "Oh.... leaving so soon? And here i was, enjoying your company as it is. " Gabe would then get up and escort her to the door.

When he opened it ,he turned to athena once more. "Congratulations on your promotion once more, and i do look forward to sharing some of those adventures with you. As a matter of fact, i do have a surprised as well, so that works out. " Though, Gabe did something unexpected to Athena, he reached in and have her a warm hug. "just be careful, alright?" Gabe whispered that in her ear before he let go. "

"No need to worry about me, Gabe" Athena replied with a smile. "I'm always careful." Athena picked her jack and wore her cap before leaving. "See you tomorrow. Thanks for the tea."
