So now we are getting into the details that everyone is dying to learn of. The Slaves of Strife! So we're going to start with the Stats part, the part that everyone is excited for!
Stats of Strife:
So what's going to happen to the Slaves of Strife is that they are normal Persona Users/Nyarlahotep Children, but they start off a little more powerful. They start with double the stats of a normal User/Child. Their Stats will start off like this.
HP: 100
SP: 60
Pmstr: 20 or 12
Ppstr: 12 or 20
Dx: 6
Lk: 4
When a Slave is made, they can either make their Magic or Strength stat 20/12, depending on their preference. A Slave of Strife is meant to either be a big battle or a small mini-boss, depending on whether a lot of people are battling at one or not. It is probably better to fight in groups, but it's really up to the person. One on one battles may be difficult for weaker Users/Children. They start with their fourth skill, so make sure that you unlock your fourth skill when you "awaken." Slaves cannot rank up past that point until they are freed.
When a Slave is freed from Eris' control, a few things happen. Their stats revert to normal, but they keep their fourth skill.
They grow as their respective Persona Type as well. For instance: A reverted Persona User's Stats would look like this. (Does not include boosts from items or Arcana.)
HP: 56
SP: 36
Pmstr: 16
Ppstr: 12
Dx: 9
Lk: 8
(+6 to spend freely on stats.)
For a Nyarlahotep Child:
HP: 62
SP: 42
Pmstr: 22
Ppstr: 18
Dx: 15
Lk: 14
(+12 to spend freely on stats.)
RP of Strife:
So the next thing is what happens when you RP a Slave of Strife. When your character awakens, they will be forced to Awaken by Eris, then be under her control. They are fully conscious when under Eris' control, they can speak as well, but they cannot move their own body. When Eris tells them to attack someone, they can talk back, but they won't be able to stop themselves from hurting their friends. Too bad once a battle starts, the two inside can't leave, so it's either fight or die.
A Slave of Strife cannot die from battles with Users and Children, but they can die from disease or starvation, like normal humans. So while your character wouldn't die in battle, a character would die if they sat around in the arena without eating. Eris wouldn't let you starve to death, though. She wouldn't want to lose her soldiers.
A Slave of Strife evokes his or her Persona. This effect wears off when the Slave is freed, but during their captivity, a Slave must use their evoker. To honor Eris, they have to take a bite out of the apple of discord. They always have one on them and they must take a bite out of it to evoke their Persona. The taste is so disgusting, it forces the Persona out of them. No kidding, it's basically suicide.
Freeing a Slave of Strife:
That's a secret, good luck figuring it out.
But I will say, it has come to my attention that there is no explanation on how a Slave reverts back to their destined character type. The explanation is quite simple. When a character is freed from the control of Eris, they hear the call of Philemon and Nyarlahotep. Depending on the type of persona they are, they will either take the deal with Nyarlahotep or hear the call of Philemon. It is more like destiny controls a freed Slave, their original potential comes out and their destiny is put back on track. It is quite poetic... Not really. Hope this clears up some questions that needed to be answered.
