Persona's Arcana: The Empress
Owner: Masami Gakki
Persona Appearance: Euterpe is a creature of deceptive beauty. She is a thing that should not be just seen, but also heard. Her features are individually, and at first glance, very beautiful. She has an absolutely perfect face that appears to be something between flesh and porcelain. Yet below that perfectly beautiful face, is a horrific toothy maw, who's upper jaw also serves as her chin. Her body flows backwards into a pair of beautiful wings, they flow like silken feathers, but look like they've been wrought from pure gold. her arms extend just below the joints where her wings meet her body, but it doesn't continue down normally from there.
Fused to Euterpe's chest is a large circular stringed instrument, a bit like a harp, adorned with strange symbols and odd ornate designs that look almost organic, yet carry that consistent texture of flesh and porcelain. The rest of her body tapers and wraps around this instrument, almost like a tail of some kind.

Persona Background: Euterpe is the greek muse of lyrical music and poetry. But not everything about the greek myths were beauty and gods partying on Olympus. The myths missed quite a bit, especially about her. Euterpe is often depicted as a beautiful woman in a toga, either singing or playing an instrument. The truth is that the more her music is heard, the more beautiful she appears. She was always seen with their ears, but her true form belies something more horrifying.
It was from her that other legends spouted. From the haunting, deadly music of the siren, the the wail of the banshee. Those were the times she was closer to showing her true form, the horrifying-yet-beautiful creature that she is.

Skill 6: Invigorate 3 (Unlocked once using your Tainted Persona thirty times in combat and having stopped a Persona-User from completing a Dungeon)(Tier 3)
Skill 7: Debilitate (Unlocked once using your Tainted Persona to defeat four Persona-Users and using your Persona 50 times in combat) (Tier 4)
Skill 8: Salvation (Unlocked after defeating one of the NPC Velvet Attendants in combat) (Tier 4)

Persona Name: Euterpe
Possessed Form Appearance: Euterpe's body wraps around Masami, and their instruments fuse together into a single massive amalgamation of strings. Masami's face replaces Euterpe's as their bodies fuse together, into a four-armed, winged creature of porcelain, gold and flesh. Masami now has Euterpe's second mouth, wings, and a tail.
Description: The biggest difference about her is the way she sounds. When she speaks, it's as if many voices are speaking at once. The most distinct are one, very melodic and enchanting voice, and one screeching, horrific wail of a voice. The noise can't seem to be shut out even by blocking your ears, as if it comes directly into your mind. She plays her new instrument like a guitar, but like her voice, it sounds like a massive symphony of every instrument you can imagine, a combination of beautiful and horrifying and painful, all at once. | |
