| This was dangerous. But a plan that had to be done. She'd nod to the person on the other side of the glass door, the man locking it and keeping Rin out of the safety of her former home. She needed to go and do something... Anything. Now wasn't the time to dilly dally and hide. But what? With a sigh she'd walk away from the old studio, glancing at the tall buildings around her. Never had she seen San Malarus just stop like this. It was like a ghost town... Literally so with a few dead bodies here and there and the destruction of demons present. It was awful... But, sadly, it could be worst.
With a steady walk, she made her way towards an ocean outcrop. The sea so violent and... Glowing. What exactly was going on? What could possibly be happening? The demons came from the sea, did that mean diving in would bring her to where they were? Possibly... But she wasn't about to fly into the unknown without proper aid. With a sigh, she'd turn and walk away from the cliff. No point in risking her life by accident.
She began walking a little bit farther away from the studio, her rather flamboyant furisode causing her to stick out like a green thumb. She didn't want to cause any demons that suddenly sprung out of the ocean to attack her near the studio. She'd do best to avoid that place for now on, in all honesty. Keeping those people safe was a top priority. But, then again, what was she going to do? With a huff, she found herself at, literally, a cross road.
Ergh... Where was she supposed to go now? Why couldn't roads be straight? It'd make things so much easier. And... She was also now lost. Hmph. She couldn't simply just walk even more and get lost in the city. If anything, she should head to Penecia. The barrier seemed to be protecting this island for now... What of the others? Standasen worried her the most, but then, she knew tons of people would be there. A hive mentality seemed to control most of those with powers... No thought in dividing and conquering.
Regardless, the furisode wearing woman stood in the middle of the cross rode, a hand up to her mouth, effectively covering it with the long sleeve of the furisode. She didn't look like Rin on first glance... And with how she was standing in the open, she wasn't exactly keeping in mind that she stuck out so much. This would become problematic... But forgetting was something she was quite common too.

| "Mariiiia! Mariiiiiaaaa! Where are you?!" Mae rushed down the streets of San Malarus for what was probably the third time that day. Her scoutings for her friend had proved fruitless over the last two days, and this time, it was pretty much the same... She had begun fearing the worst. That she had gotten killed... NO! She couldn't give up hope yet! Maria was out there somewhere, alive and well! She had to! Her stride was firm and fast paced, dashing through alleyway after alleyway, looking inside houses, and even using her own soulbound weapon to better reach other areas, or cutting down broken pieces of asphalt and debris that was covering said doors somehow. San Malarus was a mess unlike anything she'd seen before. It was almost as if a tornado had swept by, dragging half the city with it, only to drop it carelessly on the ground a couple of seconds later. How Azores would recover from this, she had no idea, but if anyone could solve the issues after the demon invasion was over, it was Isla. She had fixed everything after the last event with the primordials, and assuming she did survive all this, she could do the same thing again... right? Regardless, Mae, in her search for Maria, passed by a woman she once knew very well, but failed to recognize due to two factors. Her current state of mind, and the fact that Rin was pretty much un-recognizable unless Mae had taken a good look at her. The pinkette herself on the other hand was... very easy to recognize. She still had her pink hair, and not much if anything had changed appearance wise... with the exception that her hair was now tied up into two long pigtails rather than a long ponytail, so even Rin could recognize her. | |

| Eh? Well, that was... A pink flash. Hm. Wonder why she was in such a rush. Was she looking for someone? Honestly, would stopping her do much? Well, she may have found her friend and placed them inside the studio... Also, with how crazed she seemed, it seemed likely once she came across the locked studio, it would no longer have a door. Well, with a light nod of her head, she'd call out to the pink haired girl, waving a hand with one of its long sleeves at the girl.
"H-Hey! Are you looking for someone?" she'd call out. Hopefully the girl heard... It'd be best if she did.

| Mae stopped dead in her tracks when she heard someone obviously calling out to her. Maria? No... But it was someone that looked vaguely familiar. Now that she had stopped, Mae finally realised where she had gone... In front of Calvin's studio. She hadn't been here in what seemed like ages, and... well there was only one person she knew there, aside from Calvin himself... And this woman looked... vaguely familiar. Deciding it was best to take a closer look to confirm her suspicions, Mae approached the lady. Upon closer inspection, while difficult to believe at first, it was indeed an old friend of hers she hadn't seen in over two years. " R-Rin...?" Mae asked the woman in complete disbelief at first... " Is that you...?" If the woman did indeed confirm this, Mae would hug her so suddenly it would be difficult to stop it. Regardless, she'd answer "Rin's" Question. " Yeah... I'm looking for a Maria Russel. Have you seen her by any chance?" Mae took out a small photograph from the pocket of her jacket, and gave it to the woman. "She's a member of my band. She went missing about two days ago, and I can't find her..." | |

| "I don't know who you're referring too..." Was the response she gave once the pink haired girl had walked up too her. Why her? Why, of all the people in Azores, did she have to run into her? Mm... It was good she looked so different now. It'd be harder for anyone to recognize her off the bat, even at a close look. Age did that too a person as well as contacts... Those helped a lot. Regardless, no hug was too be had at the moment. If it came too it, she'd run if Mae pressed this matter further.
"Hm... I'm not sure. She could be one of the people I placed in an old studio I found a few blocks away. The doors locked though, and the people are scared... You'd probably do best with not destroying the door." she'd say with a gentle nod, her hand over her mouth, and as such, her sleeve covering over half of her face. A perfect mask too hide behind.

| "O-Oh... I'm sorry..." Mae replied, somewhat dissapointed. How could she have mistook this person for Rin then? Oh well. Not like pushing the matter any further would do her any good. Things were already awkward enough as is. "You just reminded me of a close friend." But her voice certainly sounded familiar, but without any concrete evidence, it's not like she could prove anything.
"Oh?!" Mae's eyes lit up at the mention of this. "Could you show me the way?" She was extactic. Finally! Maybe Maria was safe after all! That would make things much better for her... So much better. "If it's not too much trouble, that is..." Of course, she didn't wish to burden this new stranger with her problems. But if Maria was indeed there, then she had this woman to thank for that.

| A close friend? Hm... Yes, because staying in touch over these past two years had been ever present. She was always so overly optimistic... It hurt a bit, lying to her. She would've been quite happy, but, she just didn't wish to deal with Mae at the moment... She reminded her of too much... So much pain and regret...
"Mm? The studio is a few blocks down that way. It's hard to miss, big glass doors and an empty interior. Just stay on the left side of the street and you'll be fine." was the musicians response. She really... Really didn't want to stay with Mae. She'd play it cool, and if she had too, get angry. Pushing people away was... For a lack of a better word, effective in these situations.

| "Oh, Thank you! I'll see my own way there then." Mae replied with a bright smile. This woman... it was hard to shake the feeling that there was indeed something very familiar about her. But enough about that. Maria was potentially waiting for her at that studio. Before she left however, the last thing she'd ask would be a very simple thing. "What's your name?" A humble request on her part. And in case anyone asked her how she got there, it would be easier to explain who had given her the directions with a name. | |

| Ah, good. That's all she needed for her to say. Now, as long as she left, she'd be fine. Though, at the same time, she said something else. A name? Oh, what name would she say? What name could she honestly give...? This girl knew her well, well enough to figure out any subtle hints...
"My name? My name is... Well, it's Vahi." she'd say simply, her sleeve still in front of her face. That would be a good enough name... Good enough to fool the girl, at the least. Yes. Well, now it was time to see her reaction, then leave. And that was that.

| Vahi...? That's a name she never heard before... And yet this voice of hers was so familiar... Was this girl actively lying to Mae? Not that she'd let that bother her right now. Maria was more important right now. Besides, this girl really didn't seem to want her around anyway. " Well... Thanks for the help." She'd give Rin one last smile before heading towards the Old Studio... ~Mae Iharu has left the scene~ | |

| Well, there was no point in sticking around here now. If she came back, there was a chance she'd notice her. With a sigh, and a light ninety degree turn, she looked at one of the roads in front of her. Well, left was always a good choice... Hopefully that led too the sub ways...
