Standansen Rally: Shit Going Down

Whoever this Analee girl was, she had some of the freakiest powers he hadn't seen in a long while. The Primordials were the weirdest ones. Ananke came to mind with his blood-based powers. Now this one seem to be using some flesh-like abilities. However, it looks like Zachary caught them. Great.

This was honestly a great time to run the hell away now. He has no idea what else this Analee is capable of. Or rather, whatever the hell Zackary is capable of either. However, just as he was about to run past the en-trapped duo, Joshua felt a throb in his head and his eyes taking on a golden yellow hue.


Upon command, the Persona wielded its blade and would cut at the cage without harming the two occupants in order to free them. Especially cutting at the places where the cage was linked back to Annalee's Persona. There should be enough time for both Yume and Adiyna to heed his warning and enough space for them to leave. He still had his Persona out, ready to be used. He was standing his ground again this time around... like a certain firespitter from two years ago.

"Sorry, wish I can. But we got business with Mister Demagogue up there," he replied back to Adiyna, "But hey, we got a common asshole to beat. Why not try teaming up?"

He wasn't exactly sure what these two were capable of. But they seemed very sure of themselves. Perhaps with their assistance they can pull through and survive. Along with Simon backing him up? Maybe it can work.

Then Joshua looked back up at Zack and called out back towards him so that everyone can hear, "Hey! Genius! You fucking sure you want to let a fight start here? Aren't you a bit concerned about your own people getting in the supernatural crossfire here? I thought you were trying to unify your people, not show off and get your peeps killed before actually fighting the government? Where's the concern?"

He was pretty mad that an asshole like him would actually attempt to kill him. Hell, he didn't try to make a ruckus. But, Joshua knew he was mentally unsound at this point. So a fight was likely going to happen.

"Simon, if you can still use that Persona from two years ago back at Nesoi, now's the time to use it."

"Tch..." Problems already, eh...? Well... this was certainly a bit of a drag, but considering he wasn't directly involved, it could've been way worse... But what he saw from Joshua was... a big suprise. So much so that a wide smirk made it's way onto the android's lips... The Yellow eyes and the screams of agony. He recognized that right away, from the many times he had seen Sky Akumura use her Persona. He had aligned himself with the crawling chaos. As to how trustworthy he would be was still up in the air, however. For now, he'd just observe from a safe distance... Seeing how this new child could handle his own. If things got rough, he'd pitch in, of course, but for now, he'd give the fledgeling a moment to prove his own strength. If he died here, then he wasn't worth the effort of protecting to begin with.

Azami's eyes would open wide in surprise as Zachary's companion took to acting. An entity similar in nature to her own Persona appeared behind Analee and in a matter of seconds the girl's flesh contorted and twisted. In but a brief moment Yume and Adiyna both found themselves trapped within the confines of the flesh cage. Azami prepared to respond to this sudden attack on her ally, but before she could things would take an even more interesting turn. One of the men that the zodiac had told to escape seemed intent on fighting instead. Writhing in pain, his eyes would glow a golden yellow as he invoked a "Persona" of his own. The pain endured when calling upon the being... It was a sensation familiar to her. And yet Analee didn't seem to have felt the same when using her abilities. Why exactly was that?

As Yamato aimed its blade at the cage, Azami would step out of the way for good measure and look at Joshua. Her eyes glistened with a certain sense of curiosity and intrigue as a smile of approval would crawl onto her face. "You're a weirdo too?" She'd ask before quickly turning her attention to the one who attacked her associate. Gazing up at them, she'd cry out in agony as her eyes emitted a bright red glow.


The woman would let out a haughty laugh as Hathor appeared by her side and fixated its gaze onto the assailant. Assuming everything went according to plan, data would flood into Azami's mind and Analee's strengths, weakness, and capabilities would be revealed to her in an instant. With that, Hathor would disappear and a shinai would materialize out of thin air. With a hand clasped around the weapon, Azami would keep her eyes locked on Analee and the area surrounding her.

Joshua returned back the glare with steely golden hues. But he noticed the girl's attention was at someone else. He followed where her eyes would be looking at... to someone who was clearly using a Persona. Her hues would be yellow just as his, just like Rinna's. That really got his attention. But damn, he noticed that the two he actually tried freeing didn't bother to give him thanks. How grateful of them. One left completely while the other, Adiyna, went after Zackary. Joshua would have went after him as well, but he heard what Annalee had to say to Azami.


So Zackary had an interest in her? Good. This means he'll have to stick to her for now and eventually he'll get the demagogue's attention. Joshua doubted Zackary was going to be taken down so easily by this Adiyna person. Something about him told the Nyarlathotep Child that he'll be a tough one. Leaders tend to be anyway.

"Hey, everyone of you who came in without any powers, you better start running! Can't assure your guys' safety! You've been warned!" Joshua called out to the rally crowd that have gathered towards Zackary's demagoguery , "Unlike your Zackary who apparently doesn't really give a shit about you!"

As if on cue, Yamato-Takeru had swung his blade once more as if to throw deadly gales at this new enemy.

Azami had expected the information to come straight to her, but instead she found that nothing happened. Had her abilities backfired or did this woman have some kind of trick up her sleeve? Confusion struck her and, in that moment of bewiderment, Analee struck as well. A blast of water came flying out of her Persona and slammed into Azami with unexpected power. The sheer force of the current pushed her backward and almost knocked her to the ground! As the enemy approached, however, the Wild Card would find no support from Yume. Just like before, it seemed she was more keen on sitting around watching than doing any of the fighting herself. Hell, she didn't even bother to offer thanks to the man who had freed her from her cage. Needless to say, Azami wasn't too happy with this supposed ally of hers.


As harsh as the words were, they were genuine. Yume had claimed to have power of her own during their initial encounter, so why didn't she use it? Azami's irritation at the situation was clear as day. "Whatever... I don't need your help. I'll crush her myself." She muttered quietly before letting out a sigh. However, it seemed that wouldn't be necessary. Others all around her jumped into the midst of battle alongside her. Though Analee was powerful, she was vastly outnumbered even without the assistance of YumiAmi. Regardless though, this whole situation felt... rigged. Like there was no hope of prevailing. Even ignoring her power entirely, Analee's knowledge of the Wild Card alone was enough to send a chill down her spine.

"How the hell do you know my name?"

Grasping onto her weapon as tight as humanely possible, Azami would take a defensive stance and prepare for all hell to break lose.

More people seemed to join the fray, which was always nice and thankfully accepted. The one healing Azami felt a bit familiar. Joshua couldn't quite wrap his head around where he met this person. But that didn't matter right now, they had a fight at their hands. The other one that let out a burst of lightning was completely alien to him. Unlike Shunnosuke, he never met this one. But he wasn't sure what to say about this one. Was he after him? Why? This guy was someone to watch out for, especially when summoning a Persona similar the way Rinna did hers.

So they were all fighting the same enemy, this was good. But interestingly from what he knew so far from observing earlier, she seemed to be... 'controlled'? He didn't know what this meant, but that's something to take into consideration later. The strangest thing right now was that Analee didn't seem that interested in the others. All she did was stare at him... strange. Why?


Something actually clicked in for him as he stared back at her too. Joshua held up his hand to the rest of his group as if to signal them to stand down for now. His countenance now was contorting itself into confusion as he frowned. It couldn't be... right? Red hair. A power that is bodily-based. It wasn't like blood, no. But he had to make sure.
