The Biography

Birth Name: Roxanne Aline Monroe Aliases: Special Agent Monroe, Roxy Gender: Female Age: 24 Birth Day: 07/16 Arcana: The Hanged Man Summoning Device: A compact pistol that only fires certain bullets, these bullets can contain contracted demons. It cannot cause any damage, but is the only way she can store and summon demons. Appearance: Roxanne is a young African American woman, with a curly blonde Afro, and gray eyes. She stands at five foot six, and is one hundred and thirty two pounds. Roxy wears a sleeveless crop top that used to be a button-up shirt, but was cut down to fit her style. Along with this she has a red tie that goes around her neck, and a pair of black earrings on her ears. She wears white dress pants, with fancy black and gold high-heeled boots. She usually has a some black bandages wrapped around her abdomen to cover up the area that her shirt doesn't, allowing her to be on the job with her current attire. Most of the time she will have a long trench coat on, sitting it on her shoulders with it unbuttoned. The inside pockets of this coat hold her badge, as well as her weapons that she may need. If she's not wearing this, her badge will usually be in her front pocket or somewhere for convenience. Personality: Roxy is very good at what she does, mostly because she is very serious in nature. In most situations, she would be the calm one; the one to solve the problem while everyone is panicking. Being the eldest of eight, she learned very early on what it meant to be the one responsible for everyone else's safety and progress, this transferred to her work experience and schooling. Though she mostly received her job through sheer luck, her entire personality helped her move up the ranks quickly, allowing people to take her seriously while also giving her a way to put herself above the rest. Respect is important to her, and is something that she looks for when speaking to people, since she believes people deserve respect if they give you it. Her job is important to her, so working with people on her cases might be hard for her, and it make take a while for her to feel comfortable sharing information with people.

The Potential

Strengths: —Strength Name: Stealth Missions —Description: After receiving her training, Roxy had learned how to move quietly and slowly to avoid being heard, even in heels. She can also, in the right setting, move quickly and still avoid being heard. She can also find better ways to hide in the shadows, or in most situations to avoid from being caught. This could also help her when running from people, finding a place and staying quiet to avoid being spotted. —Strength Name: Police Training —Description: Roxy's initial training was mostly about learning weak points on the body and learning how to bring somebody to the ground in a quick paced situation. Because of this, she has learned how to sometimes hit harder than she normally would, especially when knocking someone down. In combat, this causes all critical hits to deal 10% more damage to any enemy that is affected by the hit. —Strength Name: Special Cases Unit —Description: After obtaining her position on the special forces, Roxy was assigned to the 'Special' Cases Unit, which dealt with supernatural events around the world. Her job was mostly to study these cases and try to prevent them from getting too out of hand. This has allowed her to know information on shadows and the supernatural that most people would not know. This also is the reason she has a stronger relationship with demons, and knows their true nature in a way. Weaknesses: —Weakness Name: Partner-less —Description: After the incident, Roxy has preferred to work alone, tending to steer away from getting too close to anyone she fights with if she does end up teaming up. This will also make it harder her to get along with, seeing how she isn't in the region to make friends. This also means she will be apposed to having allies, and would rather prefer fighting on her own. People just get in the way, and she feels she could pull off any mission by her self. —Weakness Name: Caught off Guard —Description: Although rare, Roxy can be caught off guard every now and then, especially when she has doubted the ability in another being. Because of this, in combat she will be more vulnerable after landing a critical hit for the rest of battle. After landing a critical hit on any enemy, any physical move used on her for the next three turns will have a 10% more chance of being a critical hit itself. If she lands another critical hit before the three turns are up, it resets the counter. —Weakness Name: Bad cop, Bad cop —Description: Roxy takes her job seriously, but that doesn't mean that she is following the rules. Sometimes she will break laws to get answers, entrusting her badge to get her out of trouble. Even if she ended up in jail or in trouble, her employers would bail her out because of the kind of work she is supposed to be doing. Some people might not take her seriously because of her lack of direction when it comes to following laws, but she will only do things like that to get to certain goals. The Background

History: Growing up in New York, New York with a single mother and seven other siblings wasn't the most ideal living situation any child wished for. With a father that went out for a pack of cigarettes and never came back, Roxy learned everything she needed to know from her mother, mostly how to be brave in the face of despair and how to be courageous in the face of the man. Her life was pretty normal, minus the few bumps she ran into along the way. Even with her six brothers and sisters, it seemed like she didn't lose any attention from her mother, and barely felt like she was being left out. After she turned 18, she graduated high school, and instantly entered college with a fund her and her mom had saved up for her. She first went to a police academy, Wanting to become a police officer so she could protect the ones she loved. This was a dream that she would follow for four long years; allowing her to become a police detective in record time for her precinct. An incident that occurred around the age of 23, was the route cause of her shift in life plans. She encountered a creature on her walk home from work, this demon approached her and began to try and take her life. It took a few minutes, but after a long negotiation, she made a contract with the creature and became bound to it. It was around this time that a special group hidden deep in the federal government had started to watch her, and it didn't take long for them to contact her. She was brought in to a building in Washington, where these people introduced her to seventeen other people who had encountered creatures like she did and survived. All of them were like her, in that they were contracted to a demon. They were quickly assigned to this group, and forced to go on missions. The group had convinced them by telling them they would be protecting their country. The only rule that they needed to follow, was to not use their demons unless it was of utmost urgency, as they thought using them would further the contract and make things worse. Roxy was assigned a partner named Lyn Rodgers, who became best friends with the woman over the next year. Their friendship seemed to be instant and perfect in every way; that is until Lyn fell at the hands of a demon. After taking a break from working for six months, Roxy found herself back in the field, soon finding herself working alone on the Azores project. She was giving federal credentials and told to investigate the event that took place in the region two years prior to her arrival. With her paperwork looking real and verified, she was allowed access to files and other evidence that allowed her to conclude that the event was supernatural, after which the agency extended her mission for her to find out more. Now it was a matter of finding out what happened, and assessing if anything else was going to happen, doing her best to prevent any demon or shadow outbreaks. It's bad enough those things exist everywhere, but an outbreak of them in an area like Azores could result in the inevitable fall of the human race. Detective Monroe is on the case, and she's ready save the world again.

Demon Appearance: Isis takes on the appearance of a blonde woman in Riot wear, wearing blue armor and carrying a blue sword. She wears sun-glasses to cover her eyes, and a helmet to protect her head. On her back she is seen with two wing like mechanical objects, that appear to let her fly. These wings flash blue and red like a police car, and about the same size as her body.

Demon Background: "Isis was a goddess in Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs, whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world. She was worshiped as the ideal mother and wife, patron of nature and magic; friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, and the downtrodden, as well as listening to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats and rulers.

The goddess Isis was the first daughter of Geb, god of the Earth, and Nut, the goddess of the Overarching Sky, and was born on the fourth intercalary day. Isis was said to have literally blackmailed the true name of Ra the supreme sun god out of him, by making a snake poison him, which could only be cured by Isis herself. (Ra, being a god, cannot die from the poison, but the pain would still last) In later myths about Isis, she had a brother, Osiris, who became her husband, and she then was said to have conceived Horus. Isis was instrumental in the resurrection of Osiris when he was murdered by Seth. Her magical skills restored his body to life after she gathered the body parts that had been strewn about the earth by Seth."

Standard Rules: Devil Summoners can only have two Demons out at once, and can hold a maximum of four demons on them (including their Initial Demon). Your Initial Demon can take three hits before vanishing for three turns. Other demons have set stats, who can be recruited in various ways. When their HP reaches 0, they are unconscious. If you attempt to recruit a Demon and you have four, you must get rid of one of your own to recruit them. In battle, Demon Summoners do not use their own skills aside from any Human Skills or soulbound weapons.

Description: Roxanne abuses the poor perception humans have, making her presence undetectable for a short time. Anyone within fifteen feet or five dungeon squares of Roxy will see her as a blurred image, still being able to see her but it will cause people to overlook her presence at first glance. This works best in crowded areas, but can also work in dungeons. She does not become invisible, but instead hides her presence from anyone in the area. In PvP, this just allows her to abuse the enemy's perception and allow her to get the drop on anyone she could be trying to ambush. People with seeing eye strengths or hearing strengths would be able to try and out-roleplay this human skill. This also lasts until she does something eye catching, then people will be able to see right through the skill.

I say if you want an increase to crit chance then she should have a permanent penalty to being crit, meaning at any time a physical attack towards her has an extra 10%.
