"I believe the proper grammatical pronounciation would be 'getting wet', but all right. You're talking Jack, after all." Charles said as he picked Gao II up and tried to use his uniform as a towel on her. He frowned unsatisfidly. It didn't help much, as it was soaked too. He began walking down to their car. He paused as he grabbed the handle of the door, and turned to Jack with a smile. "Don't worry, I understand you. You're a hero, after all. Heroes enjoy saving people." And with that, he opened the door, getting inside.

Gao II hopped off of his lap and onto the back seat. She shook the rain off her fur and laid there, as the robot waited for his partner so they could go back.

"... Yeah... Heroes like to save people..." Jack nodded at the thought as he took one last look at the night sky. So much had changed for the young man over the past two years... He wondered if Nilo or Miss.Divine would even recognize him at this point. Yet one thing remained the same in defiance of the tides of time.

"We brave hero's fight for the souls within..." With a renewed confidence Jack ran for the cruiser in a hurry to get out of the rain.

What was it that Jack felt was coming? Charles wondered as the passing lights reflected in the window...
Could it really be what he claimed?
Who knows...
