To actually answer the question seriously, no; Persona 4 Golden, or any of the Persona titles, for that matter, is vastly different from Pokemon in terms of gameplay. To put it simply, Persona 4 is a JRPG dungeon-crawler/slice of life visual novel hybrid, with elements of the supernatural in its storyline. In terms of mechanics, the Persona games function similarly but still very differently from something like a Final Fantasy game. That is the simplest way to explain it. | |
