Nozomi would find himself in the front of San Malarus general hospital that one day. He remembered coming in here for Suzio's sake when he got hit by a car and Tremora was required to track him down. Man. That wasn't a very pleasant thing to recall for Nozomi. Bit by bit everyone was facing their own problems. Suzio was crippled almost. Shunnosuke was potentially a mess at the moment, etc. It just went on when Nozomi gathered his thoughts to think about it.
Then there was the entire event that had gone on. What a disaster. Even if Gonea said they won..... Did they really?Could they call it a victory in a sense?Someone still died no?Nozomi remembered the term for this was a Pyrrhic victory. Then again, a Pyrrhic victory meant winning was just about as bad as losing, and this wasn't all losses. People still got their happy ending right? Some people out there were happy. There were those who got to go back to their every day lives. People who didn't have to worry anymore about the supernatural or things messing up their plans or their goals. It brought Nozomi back to his own individual thoughts on his journey and how far he had come going through all of this.
This was a battle he had came rather late into and now it was over. The true question that rang in his mind through all of this however was.
Did he really succeed? What did he win in the end?Peace? At what cost?
Maybe he was taking too much onto himself at this point. it was an old habit of Nozomi's after all. Though in the end he was glad this was all over now. Nobody else had to really suffer... It was just.... He couldn't exactly take it now,but that was why Nozomi chose to fight right? So others didn't have too and so nobody else got stuck with this shit.Unbeknowingst to Nozomi however a familiar face would be striding out of the hospital in his wheelchair. Though something was amiss. The minute the wheels would hit the front door the boy would stand up out of his chair. What made him capable of walking all of a sudden?Or perhaps he had actually healed in the time that went by. The boy would immediatly walk up to Nozomi with a surprised look on his face. Noticing the Kichida's deep train of thought.
Nozomi...What are you doing? You look like your frozen in time man!Suzio would remark onto Nozomi while he was in this state of thinking. As Nozomi would be snapped back to reality and see Suzio walking perfectly fine almost.
Suzio!?How are you walking!?I thought you were crippled for life man! Nozomi I think you misheard. I was just gonna be crippled over the next few months. Oh.Nozomi would say crackling a sheepish grin as he stroked the back of his head now. Huh.
Hey suzio I came by to tell you that... We did it!It's over man!We saved the day!Though.... It didn't end so pretty... The event everyone was going through with the angels n stuff is over!He clearly looked giddy to tell his friend about this. After all. This meant they could go back to their everyday normal lives now.
Nozi that's great to hear! The inochi would say as he began to describe various things to Nozomi, but his words would fade to a blur almost. Seeing Suzio perfectly fine and well now made Nozomi realize a few things and how everyone he knew influenced him into who he was today... Suzio was one of his first friends in Azores frankly and now. One of his permanent ones.
Then he'd remember Tremora. Man. Tremora always had a strange way with words that Nozomi didn't really ever understand. What was that phrase of his he never understood?Something about love and peace. Guess that was Tremora's wish as a human being onto others when he thought about it. They were good friends and in a way. Knowing tremora changed Nozomi as a person. Though,he was a little too kind. Ha. Nozomi could recall how Tremora willingly gave up his food in order to stop a guy trying to rob Nozomi. His logic didn't really make any sense to the Kichida, but their friendship did.
Then there was Shunnosuke... His boyfriend. Man. Nozomi had to be there for him now more than ever. Shunnosuke had suffered the loss of probably a really good friend of his or something judging from how he was at the tower. Then again. Who wasn't crying at that point?Everyone there nearly seemed to know the guy that died except well...Nozomi. He'd be there for the Kurosawa however he could now. After all they were in a relationship and he did lo-.
Then it came down to all the other people Nozomi had met in his "adventures" in Azores. Akina...Vincent...Joshua..Sharaku...All these people played a vital role in his life. They all changed his point of view on things. Sharaku for certain was a voice of reason to Nozomi at this point. He was stubborn and wouldn't want to admit it too much but. He really did respect sharaku even if the latter would not believe that opinion of him. Akina was one of his first friends in azores alongside Suzio and frankly... One of his greatest. Vincent was apparently Akina's friend and they got along well as well...Joshua... He hoped Joshua was doing alright. That guy sure as hell had a habit of getting himself into intense situations.
Nozomi?Nozomi!Suzio said while promptly flicking Nozomi upside the head.
Ow what was that for! Dude what's up. You keep freezing man. Oh it's nothing I just... I had alot to think about today you know?Haha. I'm still getting used to the fact that things are normal now. I don't know about you Nozomi but I'm starving! How about we go get something to eat? Ha. After all that I've been through today. Sure Suzio. Lets go.Nozomi said as Suzio nearly sprinted ahead of him. In a way coming up to Coincidentally see Suzio had reminded him what everything truely was like right now. Sure. Life could get pretty hard, this event was harder on everyone, but sometimes. Even when things look pretty bleak. You just gotta wait for the good things to slide in front of you and make the most of them. Would be his thoughts as he walked calmly with Suzio to finally eat.
