| Alternate San Malarus. It had been a while since Oki had reported in to its second home, but for all good reasons. It had some poking about to do on its side before it could come back here one again...and once more alone. It hadn’t seen hide or hair of Danny, so it assumed the boy went into hiding or perhaps had moved out of the town without a word. A bit disappointing, but perhaps for the best considering how things were coming along. The worlds were still in full swing chaos as the wheels behind it all moved at a quicker pace than usual and now a star loomed day and night in the skies back home with no answer as to what was going on there.
The last time Oki had met Helen, she had mentioned something coming and preparing. It hadn’t been able to collect allies for Deva, but perhaps that was Fate’s way of showing it just how thinly stretched humanity was and how different all views were.
The whole playing field was a mess and a bit terrifying considering one step after another could land on a mine hidden under the surface. Whether the mine was Thesis and Ananke, another angel and their servants, the third watcher that appeared at random on the air waves, or even the mysterious chess piece giver, there was always something…something adding onto the chaos and blurring the path to the truth.
While it was true Oki had a loose group on the other side, there were two main reasons it wandered the streets of the high tech city heading towards the bar. The first was to see if that star back home blazed over here also and if so….what did that all suggest? And if it was a threat against home on either side or both…what could Oki do to stop it? As for the second reason…well. It was kind of concerned about Helen outside of needing to check in with her. She was an ally after all and knowing she was safe would put the being at ease.
So once more, it drifted to the familiar building and entered its dimly lit and cool interior. Once more green eyes scanned the area taking note of who was here and who wasn’t as it drifted to the usual spot at the bar and looked for a familiar face. When it found the one it was looking for in asked about the boss in its own discrete way, it was once more pointed in the right direction. With the direction set, Oki would move off to the more quieter sections of the bar to find Helen and speak with her.
Perhaps this meeting would leave it with some direction or at least more clarity on the situation than before.

| Helen would be inside the hallway, assuming Oki was walking down it. They would be crossing paths, and the young woman would pause at their presence. "Oki....I see you're here. Did you need something? Things have come up in this world and I may need to attend certain things soon." Helen ran a hand through her hair and listened. She hadn't seen her in some time, so she wondered what they had to say. | |

| Oki would be coming down the hallway going towards where it had met with Helen the last time. It was prepared for the face-to-face meeting, but not so prepared to bump into her in the hallway. When they crossed path Oki paused in its track around the same time Helen did, as a blinked a few times to process the fact she was right here by some strange chance.
"I came to check on you. I was concerned about what may have happened to you and over here when that star appeared on our side," the being said to her, its mind reshuffling information as it watched her. After moment, it spoke again.
"You said you needed to perhaps attend somethings soon. Are these tasks perhaps something I can assist you with?" the being asked the woman preferring to be able to conduct business and talk rather than one or the other; however, how that turned out was entirely up to Helen.

| "I...have a meeting to attend with someone in particular. For now, it concerns someone who may be the cause behind this entire madness around this island. I think I will be just fine without you, so fear not over me. But since you are here, any progress on your search?" | |

| Someone who may be behind the madness? Oki gave Helen a small frown at this.
“Who is it?” Oki asked curious to know more, but not wanting to step over its boundaries too much. It didn’t want Helen angry with it and it had no plans to hinder her progress; however, if she was meeting with someone dangerous then why…why go alone? Was that the arrangement made or something? While Helen told Oki not to worry, the being couldn’t help but doing exactly that. Helen was its ally and if it could help, it did not wish for her to carry so much on her own. Still it was up to her to answer or not.
“As far as allies have gone, I have found none and those that I thought may have had the potential to join turned their eyes elsewhere. Outside of that, I have met with a different angel and challenged him. He may have won, but at least the battle let me know what I am up against. Outside of that, I’ve been doing my research to put this all together and find solutions to get to our goal more effectively; the only issue is that the research opens more doors rather than offer solid solutions and if the star on my side of the world is anything to go by then perhaps…time itself is moving against our plans. Everything is shaping up into a pretty nasty mess...”
Oki would trail off as it held its tongue not wanting to ask the one question it dreaded an answer to: Would their efforts even matter now? Could this situation be turned around in what time was given?

| Helen raised her eyebrows at Oki, and smirked a bit. "So you have been busy. Describe the Angel for me as simply as you can. I do not want a novel. I am rather busy today. I plan to go meet with a certain someone who plans to come down here. Or at least, I plan to try and get their attention. It's nothing you need concern yourself with," Helen crossed her arms. "Where is your friend Daniel? He has certainly been absent for a long time..." | |

| A rare smirk. The woman must’ve been pleased with the news or amused. To her request Oki nodded as it looked up at the ceiling thinking.
“The angel of the desert is named Israfel. His Wish is the sort of harmony where everyone works to help another with the weakest at the bottom and the strong at the top. He is all about discipline and control and was strong against all that I have to throw at the enemy currently,” Oki said keeping the description brief and to the point as requested too. Once it was finished, it would simply sigh inwardly as Helen once more told it to stay out of whatever she was planning.
“As you wish,” was the simple response back that closed that particular subject. Then Dani came up once more.
“I have not seen him and searching has resulted in nothing. Due to this, I am assuming he has abandoned ship. Leaving me and you on our own for now…” Oki trailed off as it bowed its head thinking that maybe Helen was right in her point of not trusting others. Maybe…maybe they were better off on their own since not many would want to aid in the Wish Deva could grant. Guess humanity had its own ways of setting this mess. Who knew.

| Helen nodded and reached into her pocket, pulling out a sum before putting it in Oki's hand. It was their reward for their work, as described in the mission she had given them some time ago. "Good work. I hope you shall defeat them if given the time, though we have very little of it. His Wish seems to be rather cruel to others who are unlucky to live how they live. It's disgraceful." She considered Daniel's absence and nodded. "I understand. I will deal with him on my own. I appreciate your report. If you find any others who are interested, have them join me. As for the rest, I will listen to whatever you're concerned with. Anything on your mind?" | |

| Oki handed over the information it had and in turn Helen had reached into her pocket and pulled out a bag. As she handed the bag over, Oki heard the items within shift lightly. It would nod lightly as it pocketed the sum given and even got some praise on top of that.
“’ll do my best to do so or at the least make some sort of dent before what little time we do have runs out,” Oki said keeping the rest of its thoughts to itself. Helen didn’t like the angel’s Wish and to be honest, Oki could not agree with that sort of system either. The weak serving the strong? What sort of system was that? One that did not seem fair in Oki’s eyes no matter which way it was turned.
When Daniel was brought up, Helen considered the words given before deciding to take care of Dani herself. This was a bit unnerving for Oki to hear and while at first it seemed like it was about to protest, it held its tongue as it swallowed the built up nerves and decided to trust Helen not to kill the guy if he and she met... But this brought up another set of questions.
“My pleasure to give the information,” Oki would begin with a bow to Helen and then straightening itself up it would ask what was on its mind.
“Two things and then I’ll let you go. First off do you have any information that may be of help to me with this mess? And two…can you cross to the other side?”

| "Information regarding what? I can tell you more if you so wish, about my affairs or your own, though I cannot guarantee I will know much about what is going on in your world, as for the rest..." Helen sighed slightly, thinking to herself as though pondering her last question. "....I do have that ability I believe. I have been able to look into your world, to some extent. Something however prevents me from fully travelling through to your world. Perhaps my affairs are meant to be here and not there," she explained, crossing her arms and looking downcast with a face of annoyance. The notion troubled her, knowing that others could come to her world but not vice versa. What did that all mean? | |

| “Hmmm…” Oki folded its arms with a light frown as it considered Helen’s words. So she could see across worlds, but much like goddess she was bound to her world. “Perhaps Deva allows you to see across worlds, but maybe something else is needed to allow you to cross…I would love to dig into this for you if time permits it alongside other things…” Oki said wondering if maybe it was the shadows or those things called Persona that was the extra piece to the puzzle. It would ponder this for only a second longer before pushing that curiosity aside as it focused on Helen once more.
“Since you are on a tight schedule, I propose a second meeting that would allows us to talk more about your affairs. Perhaps by then, even I will have more information to help in the matter. I wish you luck with the meeting and look forward to hearing the results of it. If you are in agreement with this course of action, I will leave for now and come back again later,” Oki would look up at the woman an air of understanding surrounding it. It wanted to know more about its ally, but at the same time it understood that time was not permitting too much idle chat. She had a mission to do and it had a strange Event to figure out. It was a strange thing, but…this was simply how the relationship was. Maybe when things were better they could be more than just allies in a war, but maybe friends even.

| Helen nodded. "If you think it's worth it. But focus primarily on the elimination of the other Angels. If you can take down any of them, you will be rewarded immensely. I believe in you. If you have anything to say, don't hold back. We are partners for a reason, and I can set some time aside for you. I won't be going far to meet them. What plagues your mind Oki?" Helen could tell Oki was holding something back, but if they didn't want to talk about it, that was alright. Admittedly Oki had little reason to trust her after what they went through before. | |

| “Right…” Oki would say still not liking the idea of eliminating the angels for reward. It wasn’t a hunter and even if it was enemies with the angels, it had met one face-to-face and gained some respect for him. If they were to clash again, Oki wouldn’t be fighting for reward, but rather just on level and fair ground. That was all.
Helen’s encouragement did little to change this perspective in Oki’s mind, but the being gave her a light smile anyway.
“Yeah. Okay,” it would say softly. “Various things plague my mind, but mainly the star on our side and your affairs. You say we are partners and yet, you have avoided any question I may have had about your affairs in the past. I am not understanding why that is. Is it not suppose to be fair trade of information between partners? Perhaps I have not asked the right questions, but, that is how I feel. Why so closed to me still Helen?”
The words were spoken in calm tones as observant eyes watched the one before it. Oki wasn’t being hostile, but it wasn’t sugar coating this relationship either. She had asked what bothered it and so it had told her the main cause of the tension between them. She…didn’t trust the being and that wall between them made Oki suspicious of her true intentions here. The friendly air from before had melted away and now Oki stood before the woman quite plain, hiding none of its emotions here.

| Helen raised an eyebrow at Oki. Where did this come from? Even she was rather confused at the moment by what she meant. "I thought I said I was willing to listen to you. I gave you a chance to talk about it, even explaining something concerning who I am meeting. If it bothers you so much, I can give you more details. It is simply for control of information to avoid panic. If it bothers you how I work, then perhaps you should stay here more often. I grew up in a harsher world than your own." Helen didn't understand. She gave them freedom, and a steady flow of information. She is no doubt being a bit secretive, but what more did they want? | |

| “You did, but the last time I pried about what you were up to you did avoid the question,” Oki said narrowing its eyes as it observed her some more, then just as suddenly as the mood change came it was gone as Oki softened slightly as a light sigh came from it. It was stressed and snappy… “But then again, perhaps you are right. I do not come here often enough,” Oki would move closer to Helen before pausing and leaning forward…right into her personal space as it looked up at her with curious green eyes.
“Perhaps Helen can teach Oki more about herself then. Show us her side of life so we can come to an understanding. I don’t mean to be rude or pushy, but to be honest, we don’t like walls. And I guess we have issues with control over things,” Oki would give her a smile as it stood up and took a step forward again placing itself within the woman’s personal space bubble, a test of trust or perhaps testing its boundaries? It was hard to say why Oki did this.
"Show Oki how to understand you, yes?” This time the words were gentler in comparison to the earlier bite it had. ______________________________________________________________________ Weakness: Broken - Due to the events of the plot Oki's personality has been very unstable causing it swing in mood and become unpredictible when emotional.
Note: It appears that what Helen sees as open information and what Oki sees as open information are vastly different; however, the being is open to learning and trying to see the world through Helen’s eyes. All it wants is to understand her, so they can work better together.
