Idols (Shunny-senpai) Empty
PostSubject: Idols (Shunny-senpai)   Idols (Shunny-senpai) EmptyTue Jul 14, 2015 11:22 am

The music flowed out of the speakers adorning the club, the DJ behind the turntables in front of the dance floor. She played them skilfully, dancing along with the music and clapping her hands as she worked her magic. She riled up the dancers, encouraging and making them jump and dance too the beat of her song. She mixed the tunes, mashed them up, diced and cut them to the perfection she had grown accustomed too producing. Was she cocky in her ability as a DJ? Well, possibly a little. She had apparently been more famous in Azores than she thought, getting gigs like this was child's play now a days. If her fame was this vast, she wondered if that world tour really would be as far fetched as it felt.

Idols (Shunny-senpai) F9iR0Ix

The DJ herself wasn't wearing a flahsy outfit like she normally did, this time around wearing a much more casual attire. A loose pink shirt with a diamond and star design on its front. Her hair in two long braids, though, just as wildly colored as normal. She wasn't even wearing her platform boots, something she rarely ever went outside without. She wanted to feel... Less get upy tonight was all. Be more like how she was back in college than how she was like now a days. Maybe she seemed less exotic because of it... But it didn't bother her really.

She continued her tunes into the night, stopping after a while for a quick break, allowing another DJ to take her place for the moment. He wasn't as good as the DJ, but still good enough to rile up the crowd. It made her smile... It reminded her when she was forced behind the turntables that one crazy night. She walked over to the bar, sitting down and ordering a daiquiri with a light smile. She had recently turned twenty, so now she could buy drinks~! Though, she never drank more than one thing... She hated the feeling of hang overs after a long night... Ergh, never again.

The bar tender arrived with her drink in due time, the DJ smiling lightly at him before nodding in thanks. She turned in her chair to watch the crowd, sipping her drink idly as she did so. She had thought the music was kinda drab last time she was here... Though, now it felt much better in a way. Maybe it just took some getting used too was all? The DJ didn't know, though, she didn't overly care either... Music was music and it all sounded so wonderful too her.

Regardless, the DJ kept on a happy expression, her foot gently tapping the floor to the beat. She was ecstatic that she actually got a gig here. Yah, famous or not, she wasn't exactly known for gigs. Plus, this place was a go too spot down here, ya know? She wouldn't rely on what fame she had too walk her through on life... That'd be lame if she ever did, ya know?

Idols (Shunny-senpai) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Idols (Shunny-senpai)   Idols (Shunny-senpai) EmptyMon Aug 03, 2015 12:01 am

By now, it was a practice for Shunnosuke to spend his evenings until late hours at nightclubs, namely picking Wave’s Peak as the most interesting and agitated place to relieve his stress. Zela being shutdown granted him quite a lot of free time to accomplish by daylight what he usually did at late afternoon: attending family meetings at the family’s company and learning how to be a proficient manager of the Kurosawa’s business. Spending the daylight with professional duties, logically, left the nighttime free for whatever he wanted to do, and lately with so much effort — on purpose, worth noting —, his grandfather was more than satisfied to alleviate the leashes on the teenager’s neck. A pretty good bargain Shunnosuke was already used to: doing what they want to earn what he wants, pretty easy.

As the tunes echoed through the club, loud beats making it impossible to listen to whoever was far or even close, and in all honesty, conversations in the dancefloor were superfluous. Shunnosuke wasn’t there to talk, that was no place to chat. He was there to lose it. Not completely, for it wasn’t possible without dropping his surname to the mud, but enough to forget there is a surname to live for, even if for mere seconds. As the rhythm went wild, so did Shunnosuke’s moves, sinuous, free, a mark of his presence. Like the world could have ended right that moment.

Well, it didn’t. But the song did, giving place to a mellower, slower tone that seemed like a dance-for-two ball moment, regardless of the presence of dubstep influences in its composition. — What the…? Hey! Put it back, I’m not done here! — He yelled at full lungs, stopping his dance right there. A few other clubbers nearby stared at him, more due to the physical reactions rather than the verbal complaints, after all the loud volume did these people the favor to mute the student’s high-pitched rant.— Glorious! Just…glorious. Way to kill my mood. Whatever, this is why I’ll start attending other clubs. — He spilled out, visually annoyed that no one would really care. Dancing vibe erased to nothing, the teenager had no real option but to make his way among the crowd, often pushing people away not as politely as presumed from his upbringing, just so he could reach the bar counter. — Vodka, for Gaga’s sake. Now. — The barman was far from satisfied with the teen’s tone, but wouldn’t say anything. As a regular there, Shunnosuke’s temper was already known to the man. That and the glare he received from the younger that basically said “do not censure me”, of course. A sigh, and he sit in one of the available chairs, checking on the mob while waiting for his drink. And the night had just started…

The DJ watched the crowd while sippin her drink, enjoying the taste and the atmosphere of the place... Until someone started yelling... It was hard to hear over the music, but the person who yelled became obvious as a teen stormed out of the crowd and to the bar... Er, was he a teen? He ordered something alright... But uhm... Was talking to him the safest thing to do? Maybe some DJ charisma would help lighten the situation...? Or, would it just boil into her getting an ice cold shoulder...? Uhm... Well, one way to find out, huh?

The DJ got up from her seat and half danced half walked her way to a seat next to the teen, holding her drink up to a guy in the mob toasting to her. Wow, club people where crazy... Eh, clubbies for life ya know? Why she thought this thought with a single random toast escaped her... Though, one look at the crowd made it a more sensible one at the least... Eh heh...

"Ain't it a nice crowd tonight?" the DJ asked the teen, wondering what sort of response she'd receive... A good one? A bad one? Maybe an icy glare that told her to get away or die? Eh, who knew. Time to just wait and that jazz.

”Huh?”, Shunnosuke lifted his gaze to the lady next to him. Is that the way to introduce yourself? Is that a way to chit-chat in a club? For Gaga’s sake. And he kept wondering why he preferred Wave’s Peak over all other options… — ”Nice”, maybe. At least nicer than the current soundtrack. Now… — He crossed his legs, turning his chair in front of her with a contemptuous gaze. His eyes run through her image from top to bottom. A regular, bland girl? Her visuals weren’t outstanding and her hair was too long and had a plain style to even be considered interesting enough, worth of his time. So, why should he bother? — If you intend to start a conversation, asking for the crowd is akin to asking for the weather, and that says volumes itself. — He sported a rather arrogant smile. So, his fun for the night would be smack some sense into an airheaded girl and mock her? Fine with him.

Ooo... Ouch, a regular ice king it seemed, huh? Eh, weather was nice to ya know, hmph... Eh, oh well... The DJ didn't really know what else she expected from a guy like this... Oh well, time to see if she had the ability to at least make this guy some sort of happy... Was that possible though...? Hm... There might be a way if played correctly, no? Heh...

"You ain't a fan of the DJ? What about the last one? They seemed rad, yah?" the DJ asked, hoping this guy hadn't seen her leave the turntables earlier... But, hey, if he liked her music... She could at least make his head spin a lil, don't ya think? Heh... That was a fun thought...

"Aw... I'm boring? Well, don't you know boring people call others boring themselves?" the DJ said matter of factly, taking a sip of her drink. That was probably going to come back and bite her... Eh heh... Mistake one no doubt... Hopefully he didn't do anything rash... He was drinking hard it looked like...

Fan of the DJ? No, he wasn't. If anything, he was fan of the music, not the ones who capitalize on it. Unless they have distinctive traits developed on their own, like Lady Gaga. Or Cher. But a DJ, someone who's just in charge of remixing others' work, nope. On the second topic, Shunnosuke would just lift his eyebrow contemptuously, ignoring the fact that the waiter had already come back with his little glass of vodka and placed the drink right next to him. Was that a shade? Oh no, she didn't.

You don't say, I didn't know that! But I know that you're a bit too old to repeat kindergarten philosophy. — His smile twitched his mouth in a mocking, malicious manner before the teenager decided to stick to the song subject. Not that he wasn't up for putting a daring intruder in their place, but there were better things to waste his breath speaking about. — Yes, the previous song was nice. I was enjoying what I've heard so far, but the current one is a total no-go. Whoever is responsible for today's playlist should seriously exclude this track from it. It's bland. — He answered frankly, before turning back to his drink and taking a sip of it. Gosh, it felt like his throat was on pure fire as his soul, such a great feeling..!

Ouch... Oh, the repeated blows, eh heh... Well, at least he seemed to like the music she was playing... Though, seemed he didn't at all like the kid she switched places with... Though, wasn't this more so what they always played here? Or, something like that... Eh, whatever... Kids where weird now a days... That's what made good music so hard to come by these days... Regardless, the DJ did her best in this business of hers... Original songs to, ya know~.

"Eh? What makes it so bland? It's not the best but you could still dance to it, yah? Or, is it just not your taste...?" the DJ asked quizzically, a light tilt to her head before sipping her drink as well. He was an odd one... And it didn't feel like he was a good odd one at that... Eh, no point in worrying about it. The worst he could do was call her ugly with some extremities mixed into that. The DJ had heard worst... Eh heh...

Shunnosuke nearly spit his drink when the lady said “he could still dance to it”. Seriously? — How about “no”? This song is suitable for the end of a party, when janitors are coming up to sweep the floor and there’s virtually no one on the dancefloor save for a couple slowly moving to the rhythm. Got the picture? I know you did. Talk about a miserable scenery. — He put his glass of vodka unfinished over the counter and crossed his legs to the unknown stranger. — But… if you want my honest opinion on what kind of song I’d sweat my moves on, basically the whole XMH soundtrack. Or even Sleetgrout. It’s underground, with heavy beats, steady pace, mood-lifting. After all, I’m here to relieve my stress and dance, not to have my humor dragged to the subterranean levels with a depressing song. What about you? — He retorted back at her curiously. She asked so many questions about the music at once, now it was his turn.

... Well, that was criticism if the DJ had ever heard it... This kid seemed like the kind who'd write the five paragraph long hate comments on a YouTube video that dissed a champion on LoL. And yet, here she was talking to him... If anything, the DJ was starting to wonder why she thought this was a good idea... Uh, was it? Wait, did she actually think this was a good idea originally...? Who knew...

"Yah, I get'cha... Fair criticism an' all." the DJ said with a nod of her head, understanding where he was coming from... To a degree... As a DJ herself, she knew which songs to play and when to play them but, uhm... Did they actually play music after the place was closed...? The DJ didn't, that was for sure... Though, XMH? Hm... That was a name the DJ hadn't heard in a while... It wasn't really her cup of tea, though, she was surprised someone actually knew about it... Huh, maybe this kid was more than an ice cold heart?

"Me? Hm... I like the crazy stuff, I guess. Glitch hop, house, dubstep, electro... Sometimes Drum and base if the song fits it... They all have beats you can get lost in and the music in enjoyable if you ask me... Though, yah, some of the music I like ain't the best to dance too." the DJ said, nodding at the fact the current song wasn't exactly dance material... If she was back up there, she knew exactly what song to play... Especially for this kid, he'd probably like it.

I'm glad we came to an agreement on something. — He finally said, with a somewhat scornful look towards the lady, to the point he even raised an eyebrow followed by a half-assed grin. Yes, some of the music she likes aren't the best to dance and, as stated, he goes to a club in the mood to do simply that: dance (and drink, also; if possible, both at the same time with some hot guy attached in the back, but that's too much to ask considering his recent strike of bad luck). On the other hand, he appreciated how eclectic her style preferences are. Not what the teenager usually listened at home; he'd rather stick to classic and erudit music, like Vivaldi and Bach. At the club, though, it's another thing. — Say, are you somewhat responsible for what it's played here? — It was a single hunch, but Shunnosuke was confident that her interest in his opinion when it comes to the soundtrack wasn't merely for chit-chatting.

Eh, he seemed at least nicer at the moment. If anything, less hostile and in less of a 'I'll make your life miserable' kinda mood. That was good to say at the least, right? The DJ hoped at the least... Regardless, she'd smile back at the teen, hoping it was a genuine one from him... If not... Oh well... Eh heh...

"Hm? Yah, I was the last DJ... This one was supposed to be alone tonight before I called in today. They where more than happy to have me come in ta help a bit. Glad my music made ya dance." the DJ said with a nod of her head and light smile. It was nice knowing someone as... Cynical or whatever as this guy enjoyed her music. Nice thought... Yah...

"Name's Rin by the by, nice ta meet ya." the DJ said as she extended a hand towards the teen, hoping he'd take the kind offer. Maybe the DJ made a friend...? Or maybe she didn't... It was hard to tell with these types... Eh, oh well. No point in meditating over things unknown at the moment.

PostSubject: Re: Idols (Shunny-senpai)   Idols (Shunny-senpai) EmptyFri Aug 21, 2015 3:00 pm

So, Rin was the first DJ in charge? Exactly as he figured. And she was the one managing the previous songs, the ones Shunnosuke took a liking to. That for sure explains her interest in his opinion. Luckily for her, the teenager wasn’t in the mood for sharp critical remarks. Actually, he was, but he wouldn’t unless he had a plausible reason to. DJ had done a good job entertaining him after all, before he even knew she was the lady behind the soundtrack, he at least had to give her some credit for it. He raised his eyebrows, though he seemed to “disinterestedly surprised”, his words would prove otherwise. — You can call me Kurosawa. So, are you on a break now? — He took another sip of his vodka, careful to not burn his throat in the process, only top lace the glass, nearly finished this time, back to the counter’s surface. — I’d say I could also be happy if you return soon to your job. You clearly have a better taste than the current one, don’t let it ruin our night, will you? — Depending on the listener, it might sound as a ordering sentence, but Shunnosuke at core was acting cordial here. It’s just his regular way of speaking. Plus, he still had enough energy to spend on the dancefloor, and he would make sure he won’t leave the club without sweating his worries away.

Kurosawa? Sounded familiar... Eh, no point in bothering trying to remember a name that sounded familiar in a club for blood's sake... I mean, the DJ had heard her name said in so many different ways, that when someone even made an R sounding noise she thought she heard her name! It was kinda bad... She could use a psychiatrist or something, ya know? Maybe have the detox her brain of all them nick names... That wasn't a thing, right...?

"Kurosawa? Nice name." the DJ said with a light smile, nodding her head before taking another sip of her drink. She glanced back at the teen for a moment before shrugging her shoulder and shaking her head. She hummed quietly, glancing over at the clock... She could do a few more tracks... Just had to jump on stage was all...

"Nah and yah... Kinda just wanted a drink before goin' back to DJin." the DJ said with a nod of her head, taking another sip of her drink before downing it, placing the drink on the counter and jumping up, glancing back to Kurosawa with a smirk.

"Well, I hope ya like this next song then. It's just for you~." the DJ said with a laugh before making her way to the stage, the other DJ seeming a little confused before shrugging and walking off. She positioned herself behind the turntables, cracking her fingers before picking up the mic, a smirk across her face. She whistled into the mic, shaking her finger at the crowd.

"'Ey ey! Boyz and girlz! Ya can't be dancin like that! Where's the passion!? Aight aight... Ya ready to get down? I know I am! Get ready because we're about to make this place explode!" the DJ said into the mic, her grin widening before placing the mic down and quickly spinning a new track. The song started out nice enough, coming together perfectly as the DJ spun the track. It was a nice song... Hopefully Mr. Kurosawa liked it... 'Ey, if not... She was still mixing four CDJs at the same time... Eh, that was impressive in its own right~!

PostSubject: Re: Idols (Shunny-senpai)   Idols (Shunny-senpai) EmptyMon Aug 24, 2015 2:08 am

Shunnosuke would smile to DJ’s response. Yes, Kurosawa was definitely a nice name, mainly when it can open the right doors, and yes, having a drink once in a while was definitely worth t o keep yourself in track, that much he could tell. What made him smile the most was that she dedicated a song for him. Like, wow? Regardless of his indifference to her status, having a famous DJ play her music in his homage is always something to lift your mood. And he had to admit, boy, she knew how to spice up a party. When the beat started, everybody was completely enveloped by the crescente beat of the song, moving as the tune grew into everyone before the main chorus exploded. As for Shun? He let his glass sat in the counter. “This is my cue”, he said to the barman, a sign he wouldn’t drink anymore. Oh no. This time, it was the dancefloor’s turn to have the boy’s whole attention.

Everybody f*cking jump!

And so he did, joining the crowd who jumped at the countdown. Screaming, shaking his fists in the air. Nine... eight...seven... The countdown continued.

Let’s getting f*cking crazyyy!, the whole club yelled, along with the singer, in a unison choir. Everybody seemed too enveloped by the fun feeling of making part of something bigger. The world might be falling down outside; the club wouldn’t mind. It’s like another dimension where your problems simply don’t exist.

We're the pretty young things
We are the fashion
We don't want no heroes
We don't want no heroes
We're generation
So sick of labels
We can make it happen
Let's make it happen

Maybe those people didn’t know or didn’t want to know about anything that’s going in Azores. Maybe those people thought they didn’t need heroes. Shunnosuke would be one of them. The lyrics, albeit some random lyric of a random upbeat song, spoke to him in a manner... He was one of those who didn’t want heroes, those who want to be the fashion and who were tired of labels. But he knew he also had his obligations. He couldn’t afford spending his nights on the club caring little to what was happening outside. And if he wanted to enjoy more nights like these, he’d have to step up, and “make it happen”, he knew. Once the song was done, the public would clap their hands to the DJ and yell cheerfully like it’s the last joy in their lives. In the middle of the crowd, there was Shunnosuke, who was surprisingly...serene. He could spot the DJ from afar. Whether she would see him or not, under the fading interchangeable lights and smoke that were typical of the club’s environment, well, it didn’t mind. His lips would move on their own, as if he was saying “well done”.

Such a memorable night...
Exit.~
