Appearance: Drake stands at 5'11 with a slim build and weighs 127 pounds. His hair is a
dark hazel color, often messy and unkempt due to his lack of combing it. He has bright blue eyes which often seem lazy sometimes seem to have a cunning look of them. He often sports his signature poker face, making it hard to read his current mood.

Drake prefers to wear simple blue denim jeans with any color of bland t-shirt. Over his t-shirts he wears a slightly baggy white jacket with a black ace of spades on the back. He often wears a variety of designer trainers, most of which tend to be black or white in color.

Personality:Drake at most times comes off as contempt, almost bored. He normally doesn't show much enthusiasm when talking to someone he doesn't know well. However, when he is accompanied by those he considers friends, he opens up more and has a slightly cocky demeanor. For the most part he prefers to stick to himself except for when he is playing a card game of some sorts, in which he tends to use cocky tactics to throw off his opponents.

He has a sort of disliking for others around his age, making him not too keen on making friends. He tends only to say things when talked to or if he has something important to ask or say. Despite this, he is not shy, but instead gives off an air of mystery. He thinks through everything he says and rarely makes a mistake.

As much as he hates to admit it, Drake thinks he is better than most his age. He prefers to be alone most of the time. Drake is also very greedy, wanting to get as much money as he can without consequence.

—Description: Over his years Drake has practiced his slight of hand. This helps him easily conceal things in his jacket sleeves, plant small objects without people noticing and on some occasions pick pocketing

—Description: Drake is a master of thinking ahead and outfoxing opponents. By analyzing his opponents he can devise a way to attempt to defeat them.

—Description: Drake doesn't let his worries affect him, keeping him relaxed most of the time.

—Description: Drake is very slow to trust others, and is a very untrustworthy person himself. He has no problems backstabbing others if it helps himself.

The Background

History: Drake Durenschall was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Marie Durenschall, an avid gambler, and David Durenschall. At a young age, his mother was already in debt due to her gambling addiction, which often caused her to use money that was intended to be rent or food money. This angered David, which eventually caused him to leave his wife and his young child.

Upon entering a local public school, Drake was bullied daily by most members of his class due to the fact he was poor. Those that didn't bully him tended to avoid him in fear they would be bullied themselves. By the time he was eight, Social Services nearby decided his mother was unfit to take care of Drake and placed him in a foster care home. Drake was distraught by this, mainly because his mother was not allowed to see him until she had completed rehabilitation.

When Drake turned 13, he received a package and a letter. In the letter was a last message from his mother, who had passed away in a local hospital after suffering fatal injuries in a drink driving incident. The package contained a set of silver platinum poker chips and a standard deck of cards, as well as the white jacket he wears daily. In the letter it was revealed they were all the remaining possessions of his runaway father.

Sinking into depression, he took up his mothers habit and started a gambling ring with other kids living in the foster home and with several classmates.

Three years later, after losing a poker game with a bet he couldn't pay, a group of bullies beat him in a back alley until they had broken his arm. After this, everyone Drake had considered a friend ignored him, no longer wanting anything to do with the "deadbeat". Feeling unloved, his depression quickly turned into anger, and Drake transferred schools and moved to the Azore region to get away from those he now hated.
