Rich vs Wild [Nagisa]

"I guess... I mean I don't want to see Azores or the world fall and since I was one of the few who could do something about it I had to step in. I still can't recall much from my dream where I met this Philemon and accepted my powers but I don't regret my decision. I was too curious about all those strange events after all that I would end up dead without my persona." Nagisa said as she recalled the words of the man she had met when she was investigating she had gone a long way since then and yet she was still couldn't see the end of the line. "Our cook is a very skilled woman. I would offer to bring you one of her dishes for you at school but since I live at the dorms I can't, still I can bring you one every Monday, I spent my weekends with my family so I have access in the kitchen. Provided that the academy will open soon." She replied.

“I can always go to your house to pick it up, so it’ll be ok if the school doesn’t open or anything.” Hyde would say happily. Alright, Lets get started, the first thing is to find a good camping spot.... and where we are isnt it!” Hyde would say as he got up and started to pack up the things. “It’s not much of a camping spot if it doesn’t bring a sense of adventure. So let’s go into the woods, will lead the way. “ After Hyde got his backpack on and picked up the picnic basket, he took point. “Then ill teach you how to set up a tent.”

It was clear that Nagisa wasn't thrilled with Hyde's suggestion but she didn't complain, she already knew that there was no way to change Hyde's mind and so she didn't bother. "Shouldn't we focus more on survival instead of fun in these situations? I mean we should find a spot near clean water so we can have a steady supply or something like that." She asked as she followed him. She didn't mind the woods, she had heard that it was a very beautiful place, filled with various flowers and trees which are a very common home for disgusting insects and maggots. "Perhaps we could even find a motel or something. Wouldn't that be wonderful?"

Into the woods we go!” Hyde would say as hey walked for a while and came across hyde’s old camping spot. “When I first moved to azores, I would camp out around this area. There is a stream West from here it would be great if you could grab some water for us. I know that I left a few markings on the trees ,leading there they have a large x on them, following the mark would lead you there and back here to the camp site. “ Hyde would then point to himself with a smile. “ I’ll set up the tent, and I think my sleeping bag is roomy enough for us to share….if you don’t mind. “ Hyde would then take out a box of matches with a smile. “Not as retro but ill make this experience bearable, I promise.

"Follow the path, find the stream, get water and then come back. I think I got it, just make sure the tend will be up by the time I come back." Nagisa replied even though she wasn't confident in her survival skills. The task sounded easy enough as long as she was able to spot the markings. She left her basket on a nearby rock and picked a rather larger bottle of water, perhaps big enough to store enough water for both of them, and headed over the stream. If I don't come back until midnight call a serch party." She added jokingly before she set out for her little trip.

Finding the marked trees wasn't as easy as Hyde made it sound, the marks were too small to spot right away, especially for someone not used to this kind of skill, and the local flora had made sure to cover several of them with vines and leaves. Eventually Nagisa managed to find the stream however returning to the camp proved to be an even greater challenge. At some point Nagisa was certain that she was just making circles around three specific marked trees. "Oh this is just GREAT!" She said to herself "Now I have to give up my dreams of becoming the next world leader and spend the rest of my days in this cursed forest eating roots and making clothes out of the pelt of wolves."

Hyde was busy setting up the tent and starting a fire. When it came to fht fire, he got himself a few twigs and leaves, as well as containing a red lighter that he held with himself. After that, he did a quick gear check and went to see if the tent was in good condition. “ Alright, everything seems to be in order. Now with a small kettle, the water can be boiled and useable. Nagisa should be able to see the smoke as well. “ Hyde waited but then he started to get worried. Not that he was sexist and thought that a girl won't be able to handle it, but he wasn't too sure if Nagisa followed directions correctly. “ I wonder is she kept her cell phone?”

Hyde started to call nagisa’s cell phone after turning his phone on, he had it off to save battery. While calling he followed the markings that he left which led over to where the stream was. “Nagisa Sempai!!!” Could nagisa hear the sound of Hyde’s voice as well? Would she pick up her cell and tell him what she saw?

It wasn't after the tenth circle around the same trees when she heard a faint voice from somewhere. She couldn't exactly pinpoint the location it was coming from or what it was saying but perhaps it was Hyde, has it really been that long since she went to bring water. She reached her pocket and picked her cellphone to check the time, as expected there was no signal or wifi but at least the clock worked without them. To Nagisa's surprise more than half an hour had passed so it was only logical for Hyde to worry.

She heard the voice again, this time it was louder and more clear than before and of course familiar. "I'm here" She yelled back as she made a step towards the source the voice was coming from. "I swear to God Hyde this forest is an ideal place if you want to get lost." She added making sure to keep her voice loud enough so Hyde could locate her.

Hyde was going through a pretty fast jog a top speed, looking all around while calling Nagisa's name. He had to over quickly in order to catch her, knowing that nagisa might wander around instead of stay in one spot, it'll be a lot better for hyde to find her since she will be notably walking. That was an assumption due to the fact that Hyde knew these woods like the back of his hand, so hearing her voice was definitely a motivation boost. "Nagisa Sempai!!" Hyde wold say as he ran towards that direction and gave her a big hug. "Was you scared? Was you injured? You worried me you know, didn't you follow the directions that i gave you?

Hyde would say in a bit of a scolding tone, but that quickly faded with a grin as he took her hand. "Alright, i still think you did good. It's easy to find out where out cam is because i started a fire, i also set up the tent. So right now, we could have some water we could use by pouring the water into the tea pot. I mean, i trust the spring well enough, but who knows how many monkeys bathe in there. " Hyde would say with a bit of laughter.

"Your directions told me to follow marked trees but in the end most of trees were marked. I swear this place is a maze I don't know how you managed to live here for more than a week." Nagisa replied, she was glad that Hyde came to her rescue, perhaps Hyde felt as lost as her when she dragged him to that gallery party. "But at least I got us water...that has to count for something, right?"

After Hyde's little scolding they decided to return to camp. "So is the forest dangerous at night? I mean it's not like we could use our personas to fight a bear, do bears even live in this forest? A singe tent is not going to protect us from the wraith of nature, is it?" Nagisa asked as she poured the water in the tea pot. She haven't heard much about Lunapa which made her nervous about their little camping trip, then again Hyde had lived here and he had already helped her once, surely he would protect her if things went south but was Hyde strong enough to fight a bear. Suddenly an image of Hyde dressed in a revealing barbaric armor while ridding boar and wielding double axes appeared in Nagisa's head making her giggle.

Well, the other world that i was actually born in was kind of like this to. The woods were my playground, i used them to hide and get away from people, especially when they were being really mean to me when i was younger. Thats the only reason why i was used to it, i was practically a wild boy at heart. " Though. Hyde would smile and pat Nagisa on the shoulder. "Of course, your safety is also important to me as well, so the fact that you aren't hurt counts for something even more. "

*Back at camp*

You worry too much, i haven't run into any kind of bears or anything like that since getting here. Plus i checked the weather, no rain. It's going to be a pretty simple night tonight. Plus, i have a sixth sense for danger, i bet my life on it. Thought, yes, moving around at night is a lot more dangerous when you're underprepared and don't know what you're doing in the first place. Hyde was bowling the spring water as he sat next to the camp fire he reached into his back and then pulled out a bag of big marshmallows. "Want to roast them? Would make for a good instagram picture, if you do those things?

"Nah I don't really use social media...well expect facebook and twitter but I'm really not a fun of uploading pictures online. Plus you invited me here to escape the every day routine , didn't you?" Nagisa said as she pulled her cellphone out of her pocket. "No signal, no wifi and no worries I guess. So let's just eat these marshmallows." She added with a smile. It wasn't as bad as she imagined, she wouldn't admit that camping in the woods was fun but she wouldn't mind doing it again sometime, just not anytime soon. "Say Hyde.. do you ever feel like this whole thing is coming closer to end, I can't shake the feeling of uneasiness off me. It's... everything is moving so fast and those shadows and primordial seem so powerful that I don't know how can we possible beat them... provided such a thing is even possible."

Hyde got a few sticks and placed one marshmallow on one of them, holding it close to the camp fire as he listened to nagisa. " Well, there isn't no sort of routine you could get used to in the wilds, it has all sorts of surprises, both wanted and unwanted to be honest with you. " Hyde would say with a small nod. "Though, the end is close, i can feel it....... i know what you're saying to me nagisa. petty soon, it's going to be over, it could end the way that we want it to, or the primordials could take everything away from us. " Hyde would say way in a low tone. However, i know we can beat them. We can beat them because we have bonds, our bonds make us string, and there is no thing that one man can do alone in comparison to us working together. When i group up with my friends, i feel like i can't lose..... you know?" Hyde would then give Nagisa an expression of confidence. "Nothing is impossible...."

"I hope you are right." She answered watching the marshmallow getting warmed up by the fire. She remained quit for some time thinking what Hyde told her. Perhaps Hyde was strong enough to face the primordials whereas she couldn't even carry her own weight in the parallel worlds. When she gained her powers she thought she would be powerful enough to make a change but the more time passed the more she realized that potential alone wasn't going to be enough to achieve her goals. "Hyde, I've been meaning to ask this for some time. I have figured out you don't work alone, nobody can be this powerful, so I was wondering what's your team like."

My team hasnt been much of a team for a long time, we decided to follow the philosophy that we all should work together with the other persona users. There is no sort of glory or credit to aspire for in the end of the world, there is no sort of excuse we could harbor when we all share the same desire of protecting our home. " Hyde would say as he bit into his marshmallow. " They're strong, all of them, probably one of the strongest group of users you'll know. Good teamwork also bridges the gap of strengths and weaknesses. Though, as for personalities, that's another story.

"Yea I know what you feel... I have similar problems with my team though I'm sure that we are not as strong as you. Sometimes I think if I made the right choice to join... I mean don't take it the wrong way our leader is a good person and there are people in the team I care about... but lately it feels like we are fighting each other." Nagisa said as she bit her own marshmallow, she had burned it. "Perhaps I should have been more responsible and step up as leader or viceroy or something to help the team get their shit together but I guess I was too busy flirting and trying to become school president that I couldn't even bother with staff that actually mattered."
