| 'King' Hoodie's Hobby | At the Azorean State Library | Ah, what a glorious day this was going to be. Leo sat down in one of the very many couches at the Azorean State Library, reading a book. A common occurence for the Hooded Attendant. He found it very relaxing to just sit there and immerse himself in a really good story. He was still working, but today had been an unusually slow day at the library. Almost no visitors came by at all, and those very few that did were regulars, and knew their way around the large facility anyway... So hence why Leo decided it was a good day to kick back, and pass the time by reading. The book in question today was 'Eragon'. A marvelous tale about dragons and magic. As per usual when it came to Leo, he preferred to read hardbacks before anything else, so naturally, he had borrowed one of the library's many copies of said book. He let his sharp, yellow gaze fly across the pages, taking in each and every word, fully immersed in the story. He looked up every now and again everytime the doors to the entrance hall swung open, and was ready to help anyone who would need it. That was his sworn duty as a Librarian after all... | |

| After shopping for a few hours, they had the driver bring the bags to their house, requesting that he returns to pick them up after he has done that. This gave them a while to do whatever they pleased, which mostly involved window shopping and looking around a bit. This brought them to the library, which also reminded them that they had a project due, but with school closed they had totally forgot. Opening up the door, they would peak inside a bit, not really seeing that many people. Library's weren't popular anymore, especially since electronic books were invented, but they decided that they wanted to use actual books to do this specific project. Walking in and shutting the door behind them, they would walk towards the front desk, preparing to ask something before the boy's appearance caught Quinn off guard. The color of his hair and eyes, he must be one of the 'siblings' of Lisa and Alexander. With the whole persona thing happening, they wondered if they had something to do with it in the first place. "Do you have any books on anything related to the word 'persona?' Also any books on Marie Antoinette." | |

| The doors to the Library swung open, causing Leo to pause in his reading to look up. Huh... A face he had yet to see before. He made a neat fold on the top corner of the page he was on before closing the book, as he straightened himself up in the couch. "Welcome to the Azores State Library. How may I help you?" Leo said in a polite tone. He wasn't exactly fond of greeting new people, but It was a necessary evil he had to do as a part of his job description. He didn't want to dissapoint his employer, Marvin Barlow. The man had been kind enough to give Leo this job here after the two had met at the waves peak during Leo's first week on Azores. It was actually Marvin's grandson, Luke Barlow, that had come up with the name 'King' Hoodie. The Barlow Household were all familiar with the concepts of Personas and the Velvet room, so Leo had been welcomed like an honored guest when he had asked for livingspace a good four years back. Marvin's son, Marcus was a Persona User himself, and Leo would've been delighted to have him as his guest, had he not been banished from the Velvet room beforehand.
"Persona, and Marie Antoinette, huh? Marie we have a lot of books on. Not so much about Persona though, unless you're talking about the Psychological term..." He answered, opening one of the drawers and pulling out the book registry. "Well, literature concerning Marie Antoinette is in the history division. I can show you the way, if you want." An interesting subject of choice... Personas huh...? He hadn't heard anyone using that term outside of the Barlow Household for a very long time. Perhaps it was due time Leo would go back to the Velvet Room... Yeah... He kind of missed the place, honestly. He made a mental note to return there once his shift was over for the day. Who knows, he might be welcomed back.

| They'd laugh, seeing that he did seem to react a bit to the word persona, though maybe it was just curiosity. "I guess it's a bit Physiological, but mostly it's just some crazy jester lady and knowing weaknesses." They'd nod their head at his second comment, following him wherever he lead them to. Though if he'd try to leave, they'd try with all their strength to keep him there. "Are you sure there isn't anything on personas? Like is there anything you could tell me?" Quinn kinda hoped that he did have something to say on the subject, especially since it would prove a theory they had just came up with. "Actually, do you have a cult- Ahem, do you have siblings that resemble really closely to your appearance by any chance?" Raising an eyebrow, they questioned as if it was a normal thing to ask if someone was in a cult of siblings. | |

| "Ah, I see..." Leo said thoughtfully. "Well... I know a lot of things. Most of which I'm not sure would be the best for you to know. And... It depends on what you wish to know. I can't tell you everything. After all... I'm just a simple Librarian." His tone was polite yet carried a distinct tinge of "Tread Carefully", as he showed the guest the way to the shelves containing the books she wanted.
"Well... Here you are. Feel free to browse among these books at your liesure. I'm sure you'll find something to your liking." Leo said with a light chuckle. He was about to leave, when he was asked yet another question. "Hm?" He looked back at the guest with a suprised expression. "Why do you ask? The world is pretty big, I'll have you know." Indeed it was. He had seen most of what this world had to offer by this point, both the good and bad...

| They couldn't help but smile, this was sort of working, especially since Mae and them never really talked about anything, what with the school closing and all. They've had to figure out everything from Jack and that was about it, especially since they had never entered those rifts by themself. "Well after I met those two people with white hair and golden eyes, and I got this thing lets me do other things. Basically I entered this blue door, and there were a bunch of people who look just like you. So you're from the Velvet Room huh?" They had figured out the secret of the 'siblings' when they first awakened, the blue doors looked safe enough so that's where they went. "Though I'm sure most of you don't work in a library, so why aren't you there with a fancy book helping out guests?" | |

| Leo twitched slightly upon hearing the young one mention his old home. How the...? Wait... Another user? Meeting anyone of them outside of the Velvet Room was very rare. In fact, the last time he had actually met one with the potential was when he saw Markus Barlow summon Tethys that one time a while back... He could've been such a good guest of Leo's, had it not been for his banishment from the Velvet Room... "Well... Yes, I am. Although I have not been there for almost one hundred years... And I'm afraid I can't tell you much else at present, young one with the potential..." He shrugged lightly at their next question before answering with a light smile. "Yes... I suppose I'm a bit unique in that regard. I have to get by somehow right? Living here in your world is not free." This one really didn't know what they were getting into...
"Well... I guess I should Introduce myself then... I'm the former Attendant Leo... And you are?" Leo asked as he picked up a small pile of books that someone had hap-hazardly placed on the floor... Sometimes, Leo could not believe how lazy some humans were... "Let me just get these books back where they belong. In case you need something, don't hesitate to ask me, okay?" He said with a slight smile, before looking at the top most book of the pile. 'A Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. Oh great... This one belonged on a shelf at the other end of the building. He frowned at this, before he went away to said shelf, clutching the stack of books tightly... Laziness... Disgusting.

| He’d walk to the other side of the library to put some books in the right place, leaving them there to look through the books they had at their selection. There weren’t that many books on Marie, but there were two or three to choose from, though they wanted to skip the selection process and skipped straight to taking all three home. Moving towards the front desk so they could check them out, they’d wait for him to return, mostly looking around to pass the time. When he did in fact return, they would begin to speak again, trying to not sound like they were pushing themself into his business. “Why not go back? I mean, you must be homesick right? Who cares if they throw you back out, at least you could say you tried.” They’d laugh a bit, still waiting for the checked out books. “Also, they said I should have an attendant myself, but I didn’t like the selection there. Maybe I could make you my attendant if they let you back? I mean, an attendant who loves books? Perfect for me.” They'd laugh a bit; since they were not really in a rush to get out of there, they were still trying to extend the conversation more. | |

| "Hrm? Well..." Leo closed his book with a deep sigh. "It's not that I can't go back... It's just... I guess I'm afraid of how they will take my return. None of the attendants there really knows the reason behind my banishment, Only my master and the masked one knows the truth besides me... But..." For once, the attendant smiled genuinely. "I guess you're right. What's the harm? If I'm not welcome there, then I just have to wait out the time I can return. I've gotten quite used to living as a human by now." Yes. Leo had gotten quite fond of this life of his. Sure, he missed the Velvet Room to this day, but wandering around the world was a big eye-opener for him. "Sure... I wouldn't mind that at all. I would be honored to have you as a guest. What's your name, young one?" He would ask friendly.
Leo would then take a look at the books the user had brought with them. "Let's see here..." The attendant picked the books up, and scanned the bar code of each book with the scanner. He then turned around, shouting. "Luke! Would you mind fetching me a bag? Oh, and the signature book too, if you can." it didn't take long before the voice of a young kid reached the attendants ears. "I'm on it, 'King' Hoodie! Gimme one second!"
After a bit of waiting, Luke Barlow came rushing down the staircase with a large book and a bag tightly clutched by his tiny hands. "Here you go, big bro." The boy said with a big grin on his face. "Thanks, Luke." Leo would give the kid a bright smile as he stuffed the books into the bag. After that, he opened up the larger book, on a page filled with signatures, book names and dates. "Sign your name here, and the books you've borrowed." Leo pointed at an empty field. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

| Quinn would nod at the comment towards him going home, it was honestly a really good idea for him to have a place where he actually belonged. Based on how they all acted, it didn't seem like they should be out of the blue room for too long, especially since they acted like newborns in a sense. The approach of the new boy and the light comment made them laugh a bit, signing their name and the books they took out. "King hoodie huh?" They'd make sure they had everything, just in case they dropped anything from point A to B. Once they had established that they had not lost anything at all, Quinn would grab the books, listing to the attendant for his last comment before responding. "Yeah you can do something for me, go home." They'd smile as they started moving towards the door, holding the books in one hand as they opened the door. "I expect to see you there next time I go. And if you aren't, I'm gonna return these books and drag you in there by the ear." With that, they were out the door and on their way, waiting for the car before going home.

| Leo smiled back at Quinn before the door eventually closed behind them. What an interesting turn of events... "You're going back, bro?" Luke asked worriedly, looking at Leo with big eyes. "Maybe... Depends on what happens in the future. Don't worry though. I'm not going to leave my position here in the library." He sighed deeply. "The thought of returning is tempting. I'll discuss this with Marvin later." And with that, the attendant sat back down in his couch, picking up right where he had left off...~All parties have left the scene~ King Hoodie's Hobby - END | |
