Phew... well, that actually went rather well. This last fight was a bit... harder, but they pulled through nonetheless. At least they were still in one piece.

"Alright, just this door more to go...this is where the source is. Let's take a quick break, we need to rest for a bit." Rita let her weapons vanish as she took out another pastry and dug into it. This one wasn't as relaxing as the other, that soothed her mind, but it did help heal her wounds from the fight... with a few minor scratches leftover.

Naomi slipped onto the ground and groaned. She hurt all over, “I don’t think I’ve hurt this much in a long time, and that’s saying something.” Considering how often she got hit with an array of magic and weapons, how was that even possible? She really was sore. She reached into her corset and pulled out a small pill. She opened up her mouth and popped it in without another word. Her Persona looked as though it were pouting at this action, “Sorry, Tommie. You won’t get me there fast enough. I need this.” Her energy was coming back. Her body was still covered in marks from the fight though. She would need to deal with those too.

"...damn, must have been harsher for you, than I thought. Nero." The Emperor materialized behind Rita with the sound of a gun firing, running over to Naomi-nee immediately as both of them frowned. Rita sat down by the door, waiting for her Persona to be done.

"Hang in there. Only a bit more to go, now, let's get through this." Nero stuck her hands out to her sister as the latter was engulfed in a white light, restoring her fatigue and wounds from the battle as much as she could. She wasn't sure if it'd be enough to get her back up to perfect health... but it would help, at least.

Naomi smiled as her wounds seemed to vanish, “Thanks Nero.” Tommie pouted once more as he seemed to vanish and Intertwined appeared. She didn’t even need her card anymore. She could just call them whenever she wanted. Miracle immediately ran to her and cuddled against her as the remaining wounds started fading. Beary looked at Rita and Nero and bowed politely. Naomi reached into her corset again and stood up. She pulled out another pill and threw it on the ground, where she smashed it with her foot. She immediately back up so the magic would work on Rita and not her, “Just have to break them. I usually use my teeth so it hits the right person, but I don’t need it like you probably do.” She shrugged. She was ready when Rita was.

"Any time. I'm just glad you're fine." The Emperor backed up behind her User once she was done, putting a hand on her hip. Rita smiled at Beary and nodded, appreciating the bow.

"Interesting... the way I do it, I usually just swallow them. I guess that works, though." Rita chuckled as she felt herself being invigorated as well, and got up without using her hands. She turned towards the last door and put a hand on the handle.

"Alright... let's go?" Putting on a more serious face, Rita waited for Naomi to get up, Nero walking over to assist her if necessary, and opened the door, stepping inside...

She nodded, “I have my tricks.” She gathered herself together and let Rita lead the way. This was her battle, not Naomi’s. She would have to face what was in there and keep quiet, no matter how much she wanted to say something. She looked at Intertwined, who seemed to understand. They had shown Shadow’s compassion before. Fight when needed. Stand back otherwise. That was simple. Now was Rita’s true test. She hoped the girl knew what she was doing.

When Rita Arisato walked into the final room, she would see a large throne room with a long table akin to a great hall, garnered with jewels and rubies, all faded and cracked left from someone who left this place long ago. On the arm of the throne sat a familiar girl, in that it was the spitting image of her. Her short white hair, and her already red eyes, now with a dim bloody glow that pierced Rita's heart. In her hands was a red whip which she was peeling by the material with her nails; a disgusted look plastered on her face before she looked at Rita, setting the whip down. "Our "crush" left me this. I find it to hold us both back don't you think? After you saw her, what did you think? She still as young and naive to the world as she always was? Then again, I suppose we both are too." The Other Rita got up from her throne and flipped onto the table with firm grace. She truly was as strong and fit as Rita herself was; truly a replica if not an entire clone of her.

"All this time, I have been waiting to see you. We blame the Angels for all of our problems, and we hate the Primordials, and you know what? It's not wrong at all. Only Humans have the right to judge what Humans do regardless of who made us. Just like parents have to let go of their children. Maybe it was a blessing we were orphans with our brother; so now at this age we know this reality," she said, a wry smile on her face. Her words may have been twisted, but some of it was no doubt the truth, and not just what she was saying, but what she was implying. Not having parents made Rita a huge part of what she was now with the help of her brother Crymson. Did that give her a biased opinion on this entire matter regarding the deities at work over her home? Furthermore, did this affect her relationship with the one woman she loved? All of this time, Rita had been fighting for the islands and her, but was that really her goal? This Rita thought otherwise.

"I think it's now a waste of time at this point if we continue torturing ourselves with other people's burdens. All we are doing is putting our necks near the guillotine and risking our lives for them. People are not worth it, and neither is love or family. All we need is to worry about ourselves and how to survive in a world with a dim future. Example..." She said, holding her hand out, summoning a blade that looked exactly like Rita's own soulbound weapon, before slashing the nearest chair by the table, and then another, and another, before eyeing her blade as though praising it before looking back to her with a wider smirk. "Do you see? When you stop caring about how others think and take what you want from them, you can do whatever you want. Let them sink or swim. You only are weak because you care. You sacrifice true strength because you want to control yourself, and to be honest, that's kind of pathetic." Rita chuckled lightly, finding what she said humorous.

"You let people walk over you, and then when you try to take your own initiative, you get lost without anyone's help. Do you have to rely on everyone so much? If that's how you have to act, all high and mighty like there's still hope in this stupid world then so be it. We will see who here is the stronger, but of course, my ability to have no restraint will trump your stupid hope and determination. I am your Shadow Rita. I am everything you are, from your love, to your hatred, to everything that has made your life up until now. I do not intend to stand by and burn while you control the flame. With control, we might as well be braindead coexisting. So show me where that power of yours got you." Rita pointed the tip of her blade at her, as her eyes almost glowed even brighter. Her words, were dark, and grim, and everything Rita could not admit. But that did not mean that Rita had to let this Shadow take over. She had the remaining power of a Persona User, and it was now time for the silvernette to prove that she was worthy of wielding it. Shadow Rita took a feral stance, as heat began to fill the area.

The silvernette let her mouth curl into a curious half-pout, observing what her twin was doing. Rita held that same whip by her side, curled into a circle like Lia held it. "Lia? A bit more twisted than I remember, honestly. Seemed to be sweeter at the end too. I can't help but try and shrug off how exaggerated the first part seemed, honestly, but hell, this is how this place works." Rita shrugged, walking over to the table and hopping onto it at the same time her Shadow did.

"I've always wondered what would happen should our parents not have left us like that. Should they not have disappeared from our lives as suddenly as they did. Do you remember their burial? I don't. We were too young to remember, of course. I can't say whether it is a blessing or a curse that I am an orphan, but it's allowed me to follow this life." The silvernette's face was serious as she was taking this at face value, her sword held tightly as it wasn't set to strike yet. What this Shadow said wasn't completely true... but she couldn't disagree with it. It was too uncertain to say, and Rita already knew that from the beginning.

"Now that, I can tell you, isn't true. I'll admit that I'm nowhere near as good with other people as some are, and I'll admit that, frankly, most everyone disgusts me. But disregarding those that actually matter is foolish. They care about you, so it's only natural for you to care about them." Rita stomped the table along with her Persona behind her mimicking her movements as the crackle of a whip sounded at the Shadow's feet. "You can harness your power while caring for others. You can harness the power others give you as well. This whip is undeniable proof of that." The silvernette had nothing to say towards her point of 'control'. It wasn't worth it to her. She didn't have to restrain herself, she didn't want to, but that was precisely why she had to fight. "I don't want to control myself... I want to control this power. Wild power is like a wild flame, it can only destroy. Harness the flame's power and you can use it for the greater good. In the end, a fire will burn out, destroyed by its own greed, consumed by itself. Do you understand me, Shadow?" Rita pointed her sword at her Shadow, glaring at her with daggers in her crimson eyes.

"I'm through being under others' feet. I'm through being the one controlled. I'll follow the path I think is right with the people I love and care about. Those who help me against this world are those I know truly care about me. The only help I don't need is the Angels' or the Primordials', they have no place in my world. Everyone else... is welcome to join me." The silvernette kicked aside the nearest chair to her and put a hand to Lia's bracelet, the gems in it glowing a bright emerald green as her Persona's eyes seemed to glow the same color.
