Souka would have been blasted a few meters away from home base, also known as the area where Natashi and the girls set up shop. Once he landed, he wouldn't have had time to recover himself, as Kirito would have already been on him. She seemed to retain the speed she had when she was possessed by Shadows, and looked to kick him to the ground to keep him still. Anya and Natashi had not shown up yet, considering they weren't as fast as her. Kirito, herself, looked rather annoyed at the sudden appearance of Souka. They had only met once or twice, but Natashi told her enough about him to warrant alittle bit of hate. Well not hate for Souka himself, but for Brahma who used his face. The young knew it wasn't her place to kill him, but it was never said she could not rough him up for all he did. After all, he was to blame for Limbo. Natashi was just used in the end, but Brahma actively brought that land into this world. Atleast, that's what she believed. She had no idea that Brahman even existed at this point, so all her hatred was focused towards him.

"You're bold showing your face to him after all this time. I should kill you so Natashi has nothing to be guilty over. How does that sound, Marah-san?"

The young woman readied her blade. There was a killing intent coming from her to only amplify the meaning of her words here. After all, who wouldn't hate the person who caused so much strife that long year ago. There were still people in comas and people missing from then. Dead bodies even stacked up. All for what? Some God's definition of a game? For someone like her, who only wished to be a Hero, killing this man would surely make her one.

Kirito would have surely had him, if he had actually landed on the ground. But instead, he gently took root on the branch of one of the higher trees in the courtyard. It seemed like everyone was such a critic one what happened that year ago. Attacking him right off the back? Oh please. Landing in a tree did give him time to locate Kirito rushing in towards him. It appeared she still had some of the abilities from last year. That's probably why she could operate during this time period. Souka couldn't help but give an innocent smile before switching over to one abit more sinister. //"You should be grateful for those events. Now look at you. You're different: special. Limbo gave you the abilities to be a true heroine. Isn't that what you wanted? Haha!"// The blonde haired young man would clap his hands together before snapping the branch with a stomp. This would cause him to fall, but he'd grasp the branch and kick off the tree to shoot towards her.

//"I may have lost the majority of my power back then, but you'll never be strong enough to touch me. The origin of your power came from my direct creator. I know everything you can do."// As he came close to her, he kept the branch in hand as if he were going to use it as a blunt weapon. However, the blonde would suddenly vanish in a flash of blue, only leaving the branch coming towards her. In actuality, he used his Sky Walker ability to suddenly propel himself over her head. And just like he did with the branch, he'd do with her, stomping his foot down upon her head with enough force to knock her on her butt if it landed. It wasn't the most graceful way of fighting, stepping on her, but it made him cackle. //"You should be thanking me for even making you relevant. You were just like everyone else, going through life without the courage to grasp your dreams. If I didn't course Natashi, you would still be a nobody! Haha, how does that feel? Did you enjoy being a worthless sack of shit, sweetheart?"// As he spoke, he would have re-grabbed the branch he let go earlier, but would have still been moving on the same trajectory. The Demi-God prepared to use it as a makeshift stake to stab into Kirito's chest. Though it wouldn't have even of a point to pierce, he could atleast savor the appearance of her skin bruising. Boy, was Souka always this violent or was it Brahma's influence over him?

"Shut up..." The woman dashed towards him while he fell from the tree. Being in mid air vs a woman who used wind? There was something going on here; Brahma was not this dumb. Instead of committing to an attack, she moved her sword upward to defend. When he vanished in a flash of blue light, Kirito took this as an attack and would do her own disappearing act. Instead of flashing blue, there would be a green gust of air as she suddenly shot back and recovered her footing. Lucky for her, this put her out of the way of his attack just in the nick of time. However, she wouldn't let this stop her. Instead of hesitating, she'd charge forward again with blade in hand. She'd take a forward step into the dirt with her left foot, bringing her blade up from her right hip. It'd come up in an arc, looking to slash Souka from his own left hit up to his right shoulder. She, of course, wouldn't stop here. Both hands came upon the handle of the blade after the first attack, and she'd pull the blade downwards, vertically, to slice him down the center. If he moved back through this, she would have taken a solid step forward with her right foot to close the distance and make sure her blade connected. Considering you had to take the length of her blade and her arms into play, simply back stepping was not easy. Her blade was a rough 3.5 feet, and her arms could be around 2 and a half feet themselves. Roughly, of course.

Kirito wasn't the best Swordswoman, but with her supernatural abilities and what she did know, she wasn't that bad. Though compared to a Demi-God, she could have been just a nuisance. That was if she was actually alone during this fight. But let's not forget, she wasn't the only one converging onto this scene. Even if her attacks hit or missed, a certain blonde female was prepping herself from a tree behind them. Her fair skin turned into what appeared to be some kind of metal, and she launched herself up before crashing down towards Souka with brute force. The impact would have caused a massive crater in the area that'd spread out for atleast ten meters. Kirito would have began to retreat the moment the attack was coming down, but the shockwave still sent her flying away into the brush for a sticky landing. That's what you expect from Satoshi Anya, their own legendary tank of a fighter. She still held the abilities she did back then, even if the Shadows weren't controlling her anymore. Going back to being a mere human wasn't that easy after being tainted by the supernatural. In the center of the crater, she'd crack her hands and survey the area to see if she landed her blow. "Even if these abilities are awesome, it doesn't mean we were asking for this. I went through a depression because of that event. Even though I came out of it stronger than ever, I'd never want to go through that again!"

That gust of wind was a dead give away of her abilities. Well, not saying he didn't already know what she could do. But he knew they were very limited. Unlike him, who could continuously move without any need of stopping, she could only use her abilities in short bursts. Were humans always like this? Did they truly believe they'd be able to compare to a God? Even in this corpse of a shell, Brahma was far above their ability. But playing with the mounds of flesh was a good time waster before he needed to return to the peak of the tower. So as she charged back towards him, he took a firm grasp on the branch and it seemed to shine a bright light. When she began her attack, he compensated by moving the branch down to clash with her blade. When it came to her second attack, he'd move the branch horizontally and block the vertical slash before it came down upon him. There was a taunting smile on his face as he looked her in the eyes. He made sure to keep their respective weapons locked, just as a sort of taunt to her. //"We've got to stop meeting like this, Kirito-chan. People are going to talk."// When she suddenly started to retreat, he gave a laugh. Well, for a second before a sudden impact came down upon him from behind.

The Demi-God would be forcefully pushed within the epicenter of the crater, disappearing from sight and mixing in with the obstructs it created. It was one hell of an attack from a mere human, but these humans were no longer mere, huh? More like women were demons.

He would remain lost in the rubble as she made her statement about her mental state during those events back then. Could they really not see the benefit of it? Souka would burst from the rubble where Kirito had had her "sticky" landing, and would take this opportunity to grab her by the leg and drag her upon the ground with speed. However, he would suddenly stop and send her flying thanks to the sudden stop in momentum. If successful, the youthful heroine would be sent into a tree with enough force to leave some serious aches and bruises. However, Souka did not stop here. Telling from Anya's appearance as an Iron Maiden, he knew the possibility of her being as fast as him was lowered. That cheap shot may have worked, but she had alot to learn when it came to combat.

The Demi-God began to use his speed to continue shifting across the area around the young woman. Considering the landscape thanks to her attack, she wouldn't be able to move swiftly vs someone who didn't need the ground at all. The Demi-God would continue shifting around her randomly before suddenly shooting towards her from behind. Instead of making a frontal attack, he'd grab her by the hair and forcefully yank her head down towards the ground. Using the branch turned soulbound, he'd stab it through her backside and pierce her into the ground with a smile. That armor protected her from physical weapons, but her soul was still up for attacking. However, it wouldn't hurt to place his foot on her head and keep her face down in the dirt. //"Like I said before, I know everything about you two. And thanks to this body's own skills, I will continue to adapt to whatever you throw at me. But I must say, I am impressed. Being able to hold that power from so long ago and using it as your own now... Did Natashi teach you how to do this?"//

It'd be an understatement if Kirito said he was underestimating Souka's power to begin with. The moment she noticed he was struck by Anya's assault, and the next moment of him reappearing to grab her it had become all too clear. As she was drug across the ground like yesterday's garbage, she'd grit her teeth and grasp her blade with two hands. The moment she went flying towards the tree, she twisted her body and stabbed her blade through the ground to try and slow herself down. She was capable of slowing herself down to some degree, but she still did hit the tree with a thud and then the ground. Kirito could have easily avoided damage by using her wind, but if she did that mean she'd be vulnerable for the rest of her cooldown, not being able to assist Anya.

Speaking of Anya, the iron schoolgirl's eyes would be shifting back and forth trying to keep up with Souka. Sadly, his plan was on point. She was nowhere near fast enough to stop or follow his movement. And since he was in the air, she couldn't simply punch the ground to slow him down to a dead stop. So what happened next was unavoidable, to a degree. She'd be forcefully yanked off her feet and thrown into the dirt. Worse thing was the fact he stabbed through her armor and had her face stuck in the dirt. It was easy to say this infuriated her, as she raised her fists and slammed the ground. This only caused the crater to get worse, but hopefully the impact would force him off of her.

By this time, Kirito had regained her footing with blade in hand. She wasn't feeling too hot right now, thanks to the bumbs and bruises on her body, so she allowed her adrenaline to lead the way at this point. She'd use her agility to make her way through the rubble to Souka to blade in hand and closed the distance. Kirito had gained some skills of her own after her defeat some time ago, maybe because she was properly bonded to her abilities this time. If there was one time to try her new move, it would be now. She would begin by raising her blade with both hands before swinging vertically down towards Souka. However, unlike her previous strikes, she'd begin to unleash a flurry of sword strikes towards him. The speed was impressive, as it appeared like multiple blades were coming at the God at once. She may sure to continue moving forward, knowing his speed would most likely let him get away. But this was to help Anya rebound until they could put him down for good. Well, hopefully.

"You're very talkative today, Marah-san. How do you think your friends felt when you used them for your own deeds? Or do you even care, now that you're just being used as a shell for someone else!? You used to be human, you should know how we feel about being used by others! Even if they're supposedly gods!"

If she successfully pushed him back, she'd grasp the handle of her blade with both hands and ready for the next attack. However, footsteps could be heard coming from the brush, and Natashi would arrive with his hands in his pockets.

"Great display of talent, it was fun to watch. But that's enough. Souka will be handled by myself and Aburai, so you two do not fight him. I highly doubt he came out here to pay a visit to us and just fight. Of course, I have nothing to say to a corpse of a former friend, so don't waste your time, Brahma." Natashi gave a thin smile before bowing and walking the other way. Kirito and Anya would both be looking at him with confused eyes. However, they knew the history between the two and would nod. Kirito would sheath her blade and walk to follow behind Natashi after helping Anya to her feet. Neither would look back at Souka once, either showing their respect for Natashi or their distaste for him.
