"Survive... Survive... How in the hell am I supposed to do that...?!" The worried detective laid on his back; reading the recent e-mail from this "???" character. Keda sighed and looked around the small; but plush one person apartment. He paid close attention to the detail of the death letter: "We insist on our guests to find fortified shelter before night falls". "Well, whats more fortified than a old Japanese diplomatic structure built in the 19^th century? Hehe..." The structure of the building was constructed completely out of brick and Hungarian oak. The land lord of this building used to tell Keda this extremely tall building could survive the most vicious of apocalyptic explosions if it came down to it. Oddly enough, at the time, Keda did nothing but laugh at the silly claims of the old lady. But now, he was hoping her claims were 100% truth and not some selling point in renting out rooms. Regardless of this, Keda lived on the very top floor; floor 25 to be exact. Friends hate visiting him for this reason alone; even the ones that boldly call themselves athletes. One possibly couldn't get more fortified then this. But, it's not like it matters; he knew such common means couldn't keep the hellish beasts away if they truly wanted him. The officer sighed and buried his face into the pillow he would be laying on. This drove him crazy; crazy beyond the point of insane asylum. "Relax, Keda. Just try to get some sleep, man. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen." He muttered to himself; removing his face from the white pillow casing, fluffing up said pillow, and laying upon it correcting. He stared at the ceiling for hours as he laid in complete darkness; only the luminescent glow from the moon adding a little light to the room. From time to time Keda would drift off into sleep do to his over all exhausted body. But his own deep breathing would wake him up in immediate alarm. The worn out officer sighed whenever this happened, until, eventually, the exhaustion became to great. Snoring came from him, he was now sleeping...

A beast stood upon the rooftop of a building across from the destination. Its head sniffed the air as globs of drool fell down its chin and hit the ground below them. This mythical beast was certainly looking for someone. It was ordered to hunt down specific owners of the Program. The one who sent these demons weren't exactly looking for blood that night, but was instead testing those they had gifted with the power to see coming misfortune. That's what led the mythical beast to this area. If they couldn't survive this night, they surely couldn't survive the coming events of the week. Death was his gift to them. A quick death with no worries of the future they would share in oblivion. With wings stretched apart, it would glide down from the rooftop of the building and fly gracefully towards the target's location. It was almost as though it was being lead there by some supernatural force. With the Administrator giving them their orders, they couldn't risk failing and being sent back to the server. No, the human world was much more fun!

When a powerful push against the building side, the demon would sniff the walls and head towards the window that belonged to the target. "..Keda Urameshi.." The voice came with a low growl, as the truck sized beast plagued the outside of his building. "..Keda Urameshi..I've come for you, Son of Man. Come face me!" The beast roared aloud with enough power to cause the upper levels to shake. This so called fort had nothing compared to that of the supernatural world. Infact, this one named Keda had basically put himself an an oven to become a warm meal for the lion that night. "..I would like a word, human.."

The exhausted Keda slowly opened his heavy eyelids as the distinct sound of flapping in the distance grew closer and closer. The frantic detective rose upward and listened intently to the unorthodox sound. Suddenly, in the midst of attempting to decipher such sounds the entire apartment building shook something vicious. The sheer force of the shake throw the officer out of his bed. Keda nervously blinked twice before taking immediate action. Off in the chair directly next to his bed resided a backpack filled to the brim with various items he may have use for in the future. Raising to his feet in kung-fu esque action; executing a perfect kick up spring. Keda throw the pillow off to the side; underneath resting the two way communicator he has been using to keep in touch with Orlando. Turning the dial to auto broadcast, the young officer clipped the communicator to his waist and let the device broadcast any and all sounds coming from his end to Orlando. Oddly enough; due to his own extreme paranoia. Keda slept fully clothed; wearing a jogging suit consisting of sweats and the matching pull over jacket. The very instant he got all the required gear he would need. A large shadow would block out the luminescent light from the glowing moon. Keda instantaneously ducked behind the side of the bed as he could hear the grunts and sniffles of the unknown beast outside his window. The officer swallowed nervously as the creature spoke; knowing his name and wanting to 'talk'. The frantic detective glared over at the apartments door and contemplated making a dash for it. Surly he'd make it, but in the process would probably create a lot of noise. Honestly, he planned on escaping through the balcony, but that route went out the metaphorically window the very instant he realized this monster could indeed fly.

"S-S-Shit..." He mouthed; hands sweaty as his heart rate steadily increased to dangerous levels. Still, one thing couldn't be ruled out; this building was strong. But could it hold up to the forces of the unknown? So even if he tried to make a run for it could he make it out of the apartment before the air born beast realizes? It could speak human tongue so obviously it had some kind of intelligence. This silence from Keda would get a reaction out of it anyways if he did nothing soon. The scared officer released a slow sigh as he prepared himself for the worst. "It can't see me... Hopefully. I only have one chance at this. Come on, Keda, you got this, man." With a completely pointless pep talk to himself. Keda made a mad dash for the door; awkwardly tip-topping and running at the same time. He unlocked the mass amounts of locks upon the heavy wooden door and dove off to the side just in case the creature really could see him. Exhaling his held breath of anticipation, the officer darted down the empty hallways; the moonlights casting his frantic shadow upon the red velvet floor as he ran without looking back. "What the fuck am I doing!? Do I seriously believe I can outrun this thing?!"

-Initiating PvP Phase Combat-

The massive beast had the eyes, nose, and ears of a Lion. The man attempting to hide and make his way towards the door would be child's play, as one who was created to be a predator was on the hunt. In a sudden burst of power, the Lion would unleash flame upon flames through the window of the Apartment and into the building, all going for Keda. Thanks to the makeup of the building, it was basically an over-sized oven waiting to be turned on. Cooking those inside would be a cinch, and if the Detective wanted to escape this night, he would have to come out at some point. The Lion would only stick to the windows, and each time it had the chance, it'd light another floor on fire until he was virtually trapped and forced to come out one of the windows right into his maw. "You won't escape from me, Keda! It's been far too long since I've been in the human world!" The building continued to shake as the massive beast ripped at the walls with its massive claws. Being up on the top floor probably wasn't the smartest thing for the Detective to do, because he had a hell of alot of stairs to go down. This also gave the Chimera time to formulate a plan to trap its prey like a mouse before going in for the final strike. "Run Run or you'll be well Done!"

At this specific time, Hiro's phone would begin to ring. Even without him picking up, the young man named Tico would be on the other end of the line. "Oh my, is this a bad time, Master? Well, I am calling to inform you of a change in the Velvet P. Program. A new application has been installed called the Demon Summoning Program. It allows you to harness the power of a Persona to come to your aid in combat. For details, please see our guide. Very well." Tico would hang up the phone abruptly. Though he was polite, he didn't really seem to care that his guest could possibly die that night. The AI program of the Velvet P. Program really didn't care much for their users in terms of personal relation. They simply had a job to provide a service.

"H-H-Holy..." Rolling flames of vermilion twisted and engulfed the velvet carpet. Not only could this unknown beast fly, it also had the power of the elements behind it. The young officer continued to sprint for his endangered life; sliding down the metal stair rails for even quicker descending speeds. Above him were numbers; these numbers starting from twenty-five and steadily dropping as he continued the sliding descent. In theory, even if the bricks holding the old structure upward did conduct heat the size and height of such an structure would surly play a factor in the heating process. If Keda continued to go down the levels it would surly dwindle the conducting process and turn the hellish temperature into something similar to an warm summer day. However, that was all in theory. He knew nothing about the powers this flying creature held; he couldn't rule out anything in this situation.

He jumped off one of the railings; going into a soldier esque tumble before springing back up to his feet and continuing the mad dash down the endless flights of stairs. "What the hell?!" The frantic officer asked himself as he heard the sound of someone talking from the other end of his phone. He removed the device from his sweatpants pocket and held the square item up to his ear; breathing erratic and steps swift as the wind. "Who is this?!?!" He asked, leaping down one flight of stairs onto the next. No reply; as if it was like some sort of voice recording. This mysterious person; possibly male by the tone of voice, mentioned something about a new application added to some program. Needless to say, Keda had no idea what was being said. "W-W-What?! Demon Summoning Program? Persona? Hey! What the hell is going on here?!" The talking ended and Keda was left running and confused. "Damnmit..." Keda stopped dead in his tracks for a moment as he eyed the newly added application to his phone. He felt extremely hesitant to open said application, but something deep down inside him clawed at the cage of curiosity and the will to live. He swallowed nervously; the flames glowing viciously behind him. "Persona...?" He tapped the screen without even realizing he had done so. What would happen next?

The demonic Chimera laughed as the man descended into the darkness of the building. With the power out thanks to the blackout, he was just setting himself up for failure in the end. The long tail of the Chimera that was the snake portion, was already stretched down so the massive beast didn't need to move at all. In a stream of flames, the snake head would fire it lower down, burning a lower floor that the man would be heading down towards, if he was to foolishly continue. With the top floor burned, and the thirteenth floor also on fire, it gave the detective some room to work with to operate an escape path. Perhaps this Chimera was simply playing with him this whole time? If it really wished, it could have brought down the entire building its first assault. But no, it gave Keda a head start. "You can run all you want. Death is inevitable. When the week is over, everyone will be dead, and I will come and feast on the corpses of the fallen!" The beast laughed as it descended down the building with its massive size, clawing into the walls as it went down. Meanwhile, the snake shifted and looked to locate the prey they were sent to kill. "I will make your death painless! Come to me, Son of Man!!! LET US END THIS!"

"F-F-Fuck..." The frantic officer gripped the cellular device tightly in hand as he continued running when the grotesque and hungry sounding creature boasted about death and the indulgence of corpses. Keda leaped from yet another flight of the stairs. The numbers above him read 15^th, however he wouldn't no that do to the gloomy darkness devouring the entire island. Coming to the top of another flight, Keda glared down in it's darkness; popping red and orange flames bounced off the walls coming from the base of the floor. The detectives eyes opened wide with fear. Was this beast attempting to trap him between floors? "Dammnit..." Keda muttered as the floors above him were being leveled with each passing second. He slowly turned his head off to the right and saw something magnificent. "An orb of light...? Light at the end of the tunnel? Am I already dead...?" This orb of light small and very faint, but through the darkness he could still see it. Keda looked harder at the light; it seemed very foggy and lunar. "Wait, that's the moon. How can I see the moon from insid-....!" He realized it mid sentence. The officer dashed towards the light with nothing to lose. Suddenly he came to a window with the distance moon eye level to him. No doubt he was in one of the ransacked or abandoned apartments. If he could actually see, Keda wouldn't be surprised if this place was completely empty; save tables and luxury furniture. Keda opened the sliding glass, kicked out the insect stopping protective screen, and climbed on the fire escape right outside of it. Without wasting an single moment, Keda began going down the stair like ladders. He tried to muffle his footsteps to the best of his ability, but something told him it really wouldn't make that big of an difference...

"SO MUCH LIFE IN YOU! HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?! HAHAH!" The Chimera roared as it gave a mighty flap of its wings and hovered back and away from the building. It certainly had the bad habit of playing with its food. Far away, on a distant rooftop, a mysterious figure would be watching the scene. They sat upon the edge of the rooftop in a careless fashion, and seemed to be observing the event with a carefree smile. Thanks to the distance the figure was from the actual event, their details couldn't be seen at all. Instead, they tapped a finger against the rooftop and hummed a tune. The beast, on the other hand, continued to hover around the building, constantly laughing at the man's escape attempt. For a demon like itself, it found humans to be quite pathetic in appearance and power. This one was no different. They were like ants trying to survive the heel of fate. In the end, they were to all be handled swiftly. Their overall lives were no more important than a gust of wind on a cold day. Just to have a few laughs, the Chimera flapped its powerful wings directly over top the male, simply giving him some wind resistance to his climbing. "You surely love to cling to that pitiful life of yours!"

The flying monster continued to mock the humanly efforts of Keda. "Dammnit! Just shut up!" The officer screamed to himself as he climbed down the fire escape route. Suddenly, the flying beast suspended directly next to him; it's massive shadow cascading over the darkness while the sound of vigorous flapping wings overtook the entire area. The gusts this beast created caused Keda to cover his face and stand his ground in fear of being blown over the railing. "Is this really the end? Death by... Monster?" He asked himself in a rather sad tone of voice. Suddenly, the screen of the phone began pulsating pure white light. The light so bright it gave the area around Keda lighting. "This light? Is it the... Persona?" The confused officer extended the arm holding the phone outwards; pointed directly towards the flying creature. "I hope this does something... PERSONA...?" He shouted; his voice riddled with skepticism and a lack of enthusiasm. A azure mist twirled and twisted around Keda at the apex of these words. This mist forming into some type of blue aura that seemed to stop the furious winds of the winged beast before Keda. The officer felt it; something deep within himself empowering him and lending him the will to fight; to live. Behind Keda formed some type of black briefcase; this briefcase black with odd designs engraved upon it's surface. The object spun above Keda a few times before coming to a sudden halt. Upon stopping the flaps keeping it closed and locked swiftly swung upward while the briefcase opened; reviling nothing but more pure white light.

"I'll lend you my strength, mortal..."

A voice from within the opened voice spoke. Suddenly, within the center of the box, a ghostly figure arose. This figure much large than the box; equal in size to the beast attack Keda. The figure strongly resembled one of those Spartan warriors; gladius in one hand with a massive round shield in the other. The spectral figure glared at the winged beast before suddenly diving at it; blade swung overhead and released downward right before the moment of contact. The slash aimed directly at the right wing of the foul creature. Keda could do nothing but watch with amazement as the actions commenced. "What the h-h-hell...."

When the human summoned what appeared to be a demon to do its attack, and actually was able to strike Chimera, the massive beast said no word. It was not hurt to the point of being wounded, but it was utterly surprised a human had the capability of harnessing a demon's power for themselves. "This.. How?!" The Chimera cursed as it hovered in place and simply stared at the human. What was this power? "YOU DARE STRIKE ME, SON OF MAN?!" The beast roared as it prepared to rip the building asunder with a series of strikes. However, at this moment, the mysterious figure that watched the scene would stand. Walking off the edge of the building it sat on, it simply hovered in the air and snapped a finger. The Chimera, in that moment, would literally vanish in flames as if it was never there. With this done, the floating figure would vanish in their own pit of flames. Keda had survived this night..

The flying beast grew furious as the proclaimed helpless human managed to injury it with some unknown power. Keda lost his balance as the winged creature began shaking the building due to it's endless rage. The frightened officer could do nothing but hang on to the railing; eyes tightly closed as he wished for a swift painless death. Suddenly, it was over; no more shaking, no more snarling growls, and no more flapping wings. It was literally nothing. Keda opened his eyes and awaited for the heavenly lights to carry him to the promised land. But only darkness remained in his wake, he sat on the ground in complete darkness and silence for minutes, waiting. "Am I not dead...?" He asked himself; bringing his exhausted body to an stationary position. He slowly looked behind him at an upward angle. He wanted to see the ghostly warrior again, but it was no where to be seen. Somewhere, in between the time of the attack and the beasts unyielding rage. The figure most have vanished upon completing it's attack. The young detective broke out into crazy laughter as he collapsed due to lack of strength. He glared up at the eerie moon; still laughing as if he has heard the funniest thing ever. "I made it...HAHAHA... I made it..." Eyelids heavy, body numb, and consciousness fading. Soon, the laughter was replaced with the subtle sound of snoring. Once again, Keda found himself asleep; the fire burning within the building given him warmth this cold unforgiving night...
