Appearance: Similar to the image shown, Hikaru stands at 5'9" and weights about 150 lbs. Hikaru has brown shaggy hair, piercing yet warming green eyes, and often wears grey/white T-shirts with a blue and white plaid jacket. His face is void of scars or blemishes and his skin is fairly tanned, though it is barely noticeable. Slung around his shoulder at all times is his grey messanger bag, filled with his notebook of information he needs to remember, a stainless steel water bottle, a couple writing utensils, and any important items somebody gives him.

Personality: Hikaru is quiet to people he doesn't relate with, but when he opens up, he shows his curious and adventurous nature. As a Fortune-type person, he normally takes the good with the bad, believing that he can learn from each mistake or success. He asks plenty of questions and is always open to answer questions. He is constantly looking for something to do, and he may lose interest in a conversation if nothing remotely interests him, making him seem insensitive at times. Hikaru prefers to hang out with people who can listen as often as they talk, and he always offers his emotional and physical support.

The Background

History:(At Least 2-3 Paragraphs)

Hikaru is unaware of who his real parents are, as he was given up to adoption at 2 years old for reasons he cannot remember. Almost all of his earliest memories consist of the days he spent at the adoption house, remembering his frustration and confusion at his current situation. He made several friends at the house, but as they were adopted, Hikaru was upset to find all of his friends leaving him to join a family, often leaving him to play by himself. One day, a businessman by the name of Kaito Ryouichi stepped into the office with his daughter Kumiko and offered to adopt Hikaru. Hikaru packed the very few things he kept with him and flew with his new father to Penecia Island.

Growing up, Hikaru was treated well by his new family, with an amusement park he loved to visit, a good amount of spending money, and an older sister who looked after Hikaru whenever their father had to leave for business trips. Hikaru loved the tropical nature of the island, and he often took long strolls around the island. In Hikaru's mind, this calm lifestyle made up for the lonely childhood he once had, creating the thought that every event in his life was simply a balance between good and bad luck and that the scales would have to level out someday.

Following his sister Kumiko's advice, he began attending Zela Academy to further his high school education. Kumiko allows Hikaru to do as he wishes but keeps a careful eye out for him, hoping not to find Hikaru bullied or neglected. Hikaru is not exactly nervous about his first day, but he is unsure of how the day will turn out. Hikaru prays that he could at least make some friends...
