Jack had really done it now... He had managed to tick off the entire governing body of the school in one foul swoop.... Foul Swoop...Is that the phrase?... Oh well regardless, Jack had done it. What had he done? Well turns out the school doesn't quite take to kindly to masked vigilantes roaming the school grounds at night. They really don't take to masked vigilantes roaming the school grounds at night and mistaking the principal for an intergalactic bounty hunter. They absolutely hate it when masked vigilantes roaming the school grounds at night mistake the principal for an intergalactic bounty hunter... and trap him in a wooden cage. He was just trying to save the school... Shouldn't that count for something?... Well apparently it did, because instead of expelling him they merely made him clean the art room after school today... joy...

Jack opened the door to the art room, if the room was empty Jack would simply get to work sweeping the impressively large room. If someone was in the room Jack would wave and say,"Oh, sorry, didn't think anyone would be in here, heh... just gotta clean up... "

It was just another normal day.

In a forgotten room, hidden somewhere along the countless halls of the Zela Academy sat a lone boy next to an open window, at a desk surrounded by dozens of papers already sketched out and filled up with drawings of various people he had met that day. The boy's messy black hair falls all over his face, tilting from side to side as he lets his hand, holding a plain old pencil, slide over a piece of paper situated on the desk in front of him, drawing what looks like a portrait of someone, though still unfinished. His distant, deep red eyes follow each and every precise motion his hand makes. Still... there was something odd about the way he does it, somehow too correct... one could say almost mechanical.

The boy is deeply indulged in his work. He doesn't flinch when the door creeks open, nor he falters when he hears someone enter the room. He only drops the pencil and raises his head once a voice reaches his ear. Even then, he merely gazes at the other boy for several seconds like a vulture, nods to approve of his business and kneels down to pick up the papers from the floor, just to clear it up so that he could sweep the club room.

Jack looked at the odd movements of the man and smiled, at least with this guys help it would go a bit faster. Something, however, seemed off about this guy. Jack had an eye for this sort of thing... he chalked it up to his countless hours spent watching various Sentai shows. Eh.. he must be imagining it. Silently he got to work sweeping the floors, deciding he should sweep where the boy had picked up first so he could continue without disturbing him any further. As he got closer he noticed the boys drawing. He went slightly slack jawed as he eyed them,"Whoa... Dude!"

Jack dropped his broom, cleaning utterly forgotten as he picked up one of the drawings," This is really really good! Amazing... wait..." Jack eyed the sketch for a moment," I recognize this guy.... Yeah he's in my homeroom... Hey are you taking commissions? I'd love one of me,"

"Hmm? Commission?" The boy was apparently fazed by one of his sketches. The joy he expressed was unusual, so much so it confused Charles to an extent. He also apparently wanted one of himself, huh. What a peculiar human, but it wasn't like Charles would care.

Charles put the rest of the papers on the desk and began browsing through them. After a while, he finally pulled out one of the papers. "Here." He pushed it straight into the boy's hands, not even bothering to look up as he did so. "It is merely a sketch, but it should fulfill your request, as the one you spoke about was also a sketch."

"H-huh?..."Jack looked at the picture for a moment before he realized it was, in fact a picture of him. A rather good one at that! Jack admired it for a moment, his inner narcissist  coming out in full force. The picture came out rather well if he did  say so himself. It caught his heroic nature perfectly, the light caught is goatee at just the right angle and some how this guy had captured the burning passion in his eyes! Truely this was a work of art of a caliber never seen before on this Earth! And Jack didn't know whether to feel flattered or creeped  out...

"So uh... you draw things that you see huh?..." Jack pulled a seat up to the table that the boy was sitting at, eyes still glued to the picture," Do you have anymore? Or any of a guy named Nilo? I'm sure the guy would like it if I grabbed him one."

Jack smiled warmly at the strange guy. He seemed weird... but then again... Jack wasn't the most normal guy in the world... but that just made him an authority on the matter.

"I record the memories I have experienced throughout the day." Charles grabbed the pencil from below the pile of paper and resumed his sketching activity. "Unfortunately, I do not know of a person named Nilo." He continued over the scraping sound of his moving pencil. "If your desire is to retrieve a picture of him, you may search for it, although I cannot guarantee it is among the rest of my sketches here."

"Record huh...." Jack eyed the strange boy. Normal people don't... record...they remember... This kid just seemed weirder and weirder the longer Jack stuck around," The name's Jack by the way. What's yours?" Jack's hero senses were going off the charts. Something was up with this kid, and Jack owed it to the world to find out if he was some sort of evil emperor come to take over the world for their galactic empire! Oh no... That was it wasn't it.. He was gonna enslave the world for some sort of... of... intergalactic art empire!

And Jack was just the Featherman Ranger to stop him... Oh man Nilo's gunna freak when he hears about this!,"So... Where ya from?"

Charles raised an eyebrow. This boy... he figured something was odd, it was clear from the way he behaved. Was it a mistake to let the conversation go on for so long? Perhaps, it would be best to retreat, before he gets a chance to pry even further. But that would just make him look even more suspicious. That question he asked, though... Good thing he already planned for such a situation.

"I am Charles. I came to this archipelago with my family from America, only several month ago." He dropped the pencil, turning himself to face the boy straight so that his red eyes now gazed into the boy's light brown, without a flinch, bare of any emotion.
He reached out his hand forward. This is how people greet one another, isn't it? "Pleased to meet you. Jack."

"It's... Nice to meet you to Charles..." Jack shook Charles's hand carefully. He eyed the strange boy suspiciously. If he WAS an evil emperor... he was hiding it well, but Jack had dealt with their type before... Mr.Cirt the mail man? Evil emperor from the stars... Mrs.Strant, fifth grade science teacher... evil bounty hunter.

" You've got a real talent for drawing man... How long have you been drawing?"

The chair he was sitting on was suddenly thrown back as Charles straightened up at Jack's final question. "This has gone long enough!" He yelled as he eyed the guy from above. Charles himself had no idea what was the cause of this sudden outburst, just... something clicked in him the moment he heard the question. Why was this question so different, though? He could have simply answered with something like: "I've been drawing ever since I first realized my own being." and he wouldn't have even been lying! Did he draw even before he woke up in the street without any previous memories? It was irrelevant! He had to rid his head of such thoughts. The only thing he had to think about was how to receive the power to invoke his Persona in order to exterminate the Shadows. That was his sole purpose! Then why? Why did he suddenly get the sensation of something more, something further?

Charles grabbed the papers in a single swipe, every single one of them. It mattered not if they got ripped apart in the process, the only thing he had in mind right now was how to get out of the room as quickly as possible. So he grabbed his drawing knick-knacks, stuffed them all into his backpack and hurried out of the club room, but not before glaring at Jack one more time and muttering: "Excuse me." as he returned the chair to its previous position.

Charles has left the scene.

Jack was stunned. To the point where he could do nothing more then watch as the most recent addition to Jack's "List of Possible Evil Overlords" waltz out of the room. It took Jack only a moment to recover from the initial shock, it took one more to realize his target had left. Quickly scrambling to his feet, Jack tore off his street cloths revealing the Featherman Costume he always seemed to wear under his cloths... What... It's comfy... and snug in all the right places... Like a second skin. Regardless Jack bolted from the room pulling his helmet on in the process. As Jack burst out the door he struck his trademark pose.

"Defending the world from the-.... Huh?" Jack looked up and down the hall for his new vile nemesis. Jack mentally kicked himself for letting Charles get away, in spite of this fact however, Jack couldn't help but feel slightly giddy. Finaly he had found a REAL evil space dictator! Not like Mr.Cirt or Mrs.Strat... The only thing evil about them were their lawsuits... This guy was the real deal though... he had to be!... Right?... Right!

Jack nodded to himself as he went back to his sweeping. Tomorrow he would come back here and confront Charles again. Might need back up though....

Jack has essentially left the scene
