| A perfect afternoon. The sun in the sky, the air brisk, the streets not to busy, not to much bustle or noise, and the people seemed energized and lively. So then why did the young man wear such a sour expression on his face? Why did he seem so dissatisfied with the world around him.
Kai moved about the city, not really going in any particular direction. He enjoyed constant movement, but didn't so much enjoy outside. His neighbors, however, had grown tired of his constant pacing, not helped much by the fact that Kai refused to lighten his heavy steps. Thus he had to find somewhere else to vent his constant thoughts. At least it wasn't as cramped as his studio, but it meant having to possibly deal with people he didn't want to have anything to do with. He certainly didn't look like he was ready to go out either. He'd not done laundry in sometime and knew that wearing the same clothes he'd been for about a week wouldn't really make him popular around town, so he popped open a canned shirt (owned because of reasons), which was black with a large yellow smiley face printed on it's chest, and dug his favorite leisure sweat-shirt out of the closet. Dull blue, featureless, and only a few holes. Khaki's and skate shoes would have to do, even if they were already worn, at least they wouldn't look quite as raggedy
He eventually decided that he should go home, and also take a break. He had been walking for 2 hours straight without end, and was beginning to grow hungry. He found a bus stop with a route that seemed close enough to his apartment building and sat down on the nearby bench. Stuffing a hand into the pocket of his baggy sweatshirt, he dug out his trusty smartphone before diving in again to retrieve a pair of ear-buds. He stuffed the small nubs into his ear and let himself drift somewhat into the music that now filled them, tapping his foot a few times to the beat. "Wonder what I should make," he mumbled to himself as he frequently does, "Maybe rice. Or pork. Hmm..."

| Nilo looked around the near by shops with a paranoid expression. Ever sense being mugged, he couldn't help but glance over every corner and person at the corner of his eyes. It bugged him that he was so paranoid but he couldn't risk having the freshly bought groceries dashed and broken to the ground again. He quickly and hastily found his way to the bus he took home from shopping, however, there was a person sitting there.
Nilo sighed rim afar, tugging his hoodie's hood before pulling it over his head. He wore a white flannel shirt with jeans; old looking sneakers adorned his feet. His hood and long, white hair covered the majority of his head well. He sat down beside the person, glancing him over quickly before turning his head downward, a slight south of relief escaping him as he saw the headphones and phone.
He was glad that the other person wasn't going to torment him with questions on his albinism an or pity and worry over him because of it. Right now he was simply happy to sit in silence and hum a small tune to himself. It was an odd tune, as Nilo often thought it was, leaning more towards an odd lullaby. To most, this song was happy yet on the verge of sounding creepy. Nilo loved this song as he hummed it quietly to himself before stopping and frowning at his childish action, glancing over to the person in hopes it didn't annoy him.

| Nilo would find his eyes meeting with Kai's for a brief second before they'd dart away in the opposite direction. Kai didn't want to say anything, but he was curious about the paleness of the boys skin, as well as his bright red eyes and snow white hair. Now Kai was afraid that he would have noticed, and that him not being forward would be offensive to the kids feelings, insulting his ability to handle people gawking at him, or being curious. After all he's probably dealt with people asking him about his condition in the past. Or maybe not! Maybe he's actually incredibly sensitive about it and Kai offended him simply by being curios. But it'd be rude to feel that way because again that's not taking into account his ability to deal with... AUGH!
I hate myself, I hate myself, I hate myself The words played in his head over and over again like a broken record as he stared off into space, like he was stuck in deep thought. He couldn't help but feel like a weirdo now, stuck in a place full of people with this poor ki- No! Not poor! Probably doesn't even care! Or maybe he does! Christ what should I do? Apologize? Would that be weird? He probably didn't notice! But if he did I could have hurt his feelings. Awh what do I dooo!!! He seemed to fidget somewhat in his seat through this internal argument with himself, putting him into a worse position then he would have been before had he simply let it go like any other person. Kai felt though that that would be worse, as an uncaring demeanor, or false empathy is all this kid probably gets. He took a deep breath and calmed himself for a moment, letting his mind expel it's pent up energy.
"Sorry." He said darting his head towards Nilo, then back to it's straight forward position. There not too emotional, not too emotionless... I think. he thought as he sunk back into his seat, his eyes darting at the phone in his hand to check that the bus would be there soon. Still not soon enough for him, but soon. Again he had lost a battle with himself, and his tendency to over-think things.

| Nilo blinked and was instantly taken aback by the sorry. On instinct, he looked behind him then back at Kai, tilting his head lightly to the side. He didn't quite know what to say at the sorry, actually, was this the first time a total stranger said sorry to him? He didn't quite know, but regardless, he thought out a response carefully before responding.
"... Sorry? Sorry for, um... What?" he asked politely and with a tone of respect regardless of him not knowing the person. He didn't want to be rude or to offend the stranger, but he was very confused as to why he said sorry. Did he do something offensive without Nilo knowing it? He couldn't tell but remained quiet as he awaited Kai's answer. He smiled lightly though, after a while of silence, realizing the smile may help lighten the mood, if not for a bit at least.
