Appearance: Kai is a tad diminutive standing at 5'6", but of average build weighing 145 lbs. His skin is ashy tan, but he's actually somewhat pale for one of oriental ethnicity. His thick, jet black hair extends to about shoulder length and is usually unkempt. His eyes are dark brown, and only slightly slanted. They are constantly surrounded by dark skin which tends to make Kai appear as though he is tired, no matter how awake he actually is. His noes is of average length, but his nostrils are somewhat wide and round. He has scraggly facial hair which he surprisingly does keep, shaving it all off of his neck and keeping his beard thinner and disconnected from his mustache. Kai's frame is rather broad and stout at two-and-one-third heads wide. He is fairly muscular, with a more athletic tone.

He most frequently wears any shirt at all with a loose, faded grey, hooded long-sleeved shirt over it, along with a pair of blue loosefit jeans, or black khaki's. He also frequently wears a black bucket hat, with the words "STAY BEAUTIFUL" printed onto it in large, bold, faded white letters near the front left side, and a golden pin of the letters "N.Y.C." pinned to the right. Around his neck is string necklace with a wooden peace sign hanging from it. During the colder months he wears an open long, black, cotton coat that extends down to his knees. The bottom end of the coat raises up a few inches in the back. The left lapel of the coat has 3 button pins on it. The one near to the top is white with the phrase "Ora" printed on it as a bold black Japanese character. The one in the middle appears to be a golden steering wheel. Near the bottom is a black pin with a rainbow patterned peace sign. He also wears a thin scarf with a black and white monochrome plaid pattern.

Personality: Kai is outwardly a rather nice, but hard exteriored person. Those he doesn't know much about or trust usually get the cold shoulder when trying to interact with him. Anybody who needs his help, anybody who he knows, or anybody who he trusts however he'll do anything for, and act with utmost courtesy and politeness. Inwardly though, Kai has deeply ingrained self-doubt issues that stem from a persistent anxiety disorder. He attributes his (actually quite few) failings in life to a desire to not do anything which he believes comes from being a spoiled middle-class "whiteboy". He attempts to mitigate this with a strong dose of Taoist selfism, which he waxes poetic on frequently. Despite this he has tendencies to quietly, but bitterly mutter the phrase "I hate myself" whenever any kind of past transgression crosses his mind. He claims to openly accept all of his shortcomings, and to some degree he does, but he only accepts them as an inevitability rather then as a deeper part of who he is as a thinking human being. Still Kai is strongly open-minded, and deeply passionate, and fights tooth-and-nail for what he believes is right, along with the safety of those he cares for.

Kai's anxiety issues are fairly numerous. Not just pertaining to social interaction, or even his own self either. He is quite paranoid, doesn't do well in crowds, is afraid of the dark, claustrophobic, and doesn't trust people who's faces he cannot see.

Kai enjoys listening to a variety of music from rock, to classical, to hiphop. He has a deeper appreciation for Punk, Alternative, Emotive, and Post Hardcore. His hobbies include computer videogaming, (mediocre) poetic writing, action figure collecting, cooking, and martial arts appreciation. He has a deep bitter hatred for tyrants and bullies. He has little patience for the people who he considers fools. He is asexual, and will only engage in relationships with other males. This has made it quite hard for him to actually find a relationship, which has made him somewhat bitter about the concept of even having one. His most hated phrases are "You're just a kid," and "You can't do it."

Strengths:

—Strength Name: Kung Fu Hustler
—Description: Kai has been fairly obsessed with martial arts movies since he was young. This has driven him to absorb as much media involving super actiony fight scenes as he can. This also means that he's studied a lot about the intricacies of martial arts including philosophies, techniques, histories, and even he knows how to preform them. Kai has studied Escrima to a high degree being part Filipeno, as well as a few karate techniques, Capoera, Muey Thai, and Wing-Chun, and bolsters it with street fighting motzy. He is very adept at close quarters combat, however he is by no means a master considering he's only 18.

—Strength Name: ...Then stay out of the kitchen
—Description: Kai is a pretty good chef. Having come from a 'food family' he's eaten quite a lot, from backyard roasts with his moderately large family, to eating out in high class restaurants. As a result he has grown a large appreciation for food, and he particularly knows his way around a wok.

—Strength Name: HD
—Description: Kai has ADHD. This tends to mean that when he sets his mind to it, he can hyper-focus his mind to specific details and preform tasks at rapid pace... When he sets his mind to it.

—Strength Name: Musically... Something
—Description: Kai does not have a beautiful voice, but he does know how to keep a tone. He's not a very good lyrics writer, but he does know how to come up with good ideas for lyrics. He's not the best musician, but what it really comes down to when you're singing rock all you need is the ability to bring the hype to the crowd. And boy does he.

—Description: Kai has had an obsession with speed for quite some time. He greatly enjoys playing racing video-games, running outside, and riding his scooter (at varying illegal speeds). This translates to a boost in attack speed!

—Weakness Name: I hate myself!
—Description: Kai has some pretty strong self-confidence issues! He laments constantly over past mistakes, and has problems taking himself seriously. He thinks that him being as problematic as he is despite having a relatively normal life makes him an awful useless human being. Funnily enough he talks all the time about how people should accept themselves, as well as their shortcomings. Whether he means this sincerely or if he's just trying to mask his own problems with optimism is hard to determine.

—Description: Kai has ADHD! This means that he tends to overlook overarching details because he's too busy focusing on one thing at a time. It also means he has issues focusing on multiple things at a time.

—Weakness Name: Charismatic Weirdo
—Description: Kai is a nice person. Kai is also a weird person. He say's a lot of things with sincerity but it's not too hard to take them the wrong way. He can even come off as to sincere sometimes, and make himself out to be a creep. He also has issues with direct one on one conversation, as he's continually worried that he'll say something that will offend someone. He hates large crowds as well.

—Description: Kai fights with passion, and intent. Almost too much so. Kai tends to swing too fast, without an abundance of coordination due to his high paced fighting style. This translates to a 5% decrease to Dexterity

—Description: Kai has some sensitivity issues. One of them being that he has a low tolerance for pain, and thus takes more damage from attacks made against him. This translates to a 5% increase to damage taken.

Weapon Description: The Baron resembles what one could describe a tricked out kitchen knife. The full tang of the knife is sandwiched between the two plasticine bars that make up the handle. A thick steel ring, about an inch in diameter, hangs from the handles bottom end. Steel diamond-like shapes dot the sides of the handle, like the pattern on the hilt of a katana. The blade itself thick, and measures at one foot long and one-and-three-quarters of an inch wide.The base of the blade rises upward into the edge where it extends off of the handle. The blade curves outward like that of a barong knife. The upper three quarters of the back of the blade is serrated and ridged. On the right side of the blade the word, "LOVE," is printed in a stylized, bold, black graffiti-like font. The word, "PEACE," is printed on the left side in the same styling. Kai holds the knife with the edge facing towards him, having his index finger and thumb wrapped around the base of the blade.

The Background
History: Have to be honest here, Kai's life is painfully average for a middle-class suburbanite teenager. Kai was born with the name Jacob Muhalo. His mother is an English descended American secretary, and his father is a FOB Filipino man who worked in management. They lived together in a two story house on the coast of New Jersey. When he was 13 his parents divorced, but even that didn't faze him much, as they'd always argued with each other. At least now they'd both be happier without eachother. His only real turmoil was that he was bullied at a certain point in school, but after a while he didn't really much care about it. All he ever wanted was to move away from his parents, and do something for himself for once. Jacob introverted himself for a long time. He spend almost every second of his off time either playing video games, reading fantasy novels, or running outside. When he was 16 he got a part time job working at a Chinese restaurant in the kitchen as a dish washer and delivery boy. The man who owned the place took it upon himself to young Jacob how to cook. Jacob had also started teaching himself martial arts, and even got his uncle to teach him Escrima. Kai began to develop a sense of independence, and began lamenting over his youth. He deemed that as soon as he turned 18 he would move out of his house and as far away from his old life as possible. And unlike most angsty teenagers, Jacob actually managed to accomplish this. In came the Azores Region. An entire body of water separating him from his home, and he didn't even have to move all the way to Europe. Over the span of two years Jacob was able to pile every single cent of money he had into moving there, renting himself a flat on Malrus Island. He was finally free and finally alone here... And then set in the realization of what he'd just done. He's only 18 for chrissake, not even actually done with high school yet and he'd just moved to an entirely other body of land. He even changed his name, to something really stupid too. At this point Kai began to doubt what he'd done along with himself and grew a very sour view on his own life. How dare he think he deserve better. He had what most would consider to be a pretty decent life. Now Kai faced a new problem away from his family, his tormentors, his peers.
