Flowers for The Ladies [Alex/Roll]

Roll'd giggle slightly at Alex's actions, finding them pretty odd for someone so much bigger and taller than her... after all, this man was about 8 inches taller than her! Of course, she was a short girl but that meant nothing to her, it'd only make her appear cuter in the long run.

"Well, Mister Alex, while it isn't something that I feel every day, having a face pressed against my chest would most likely earn someone a slap to the face... I'll let it slide this time, though." These words would be spoken purely in jest and in a very casual tone, making them very obviously just a joke, Roll had no intention of abusing someone because they happened to be distracted. The gift, however, would make her a bit surprised, though she'd still laugh cheerfully at the gift, finding it to be actually pretty cute of him.

"Ahaha! You really didn't have to, you know? I don't need any kind of compensation, it was an honest accident, I believe you." Still, she'd take the bouquet and bring it closer to her, taking a light whiff of their smell before smiling cheerfully and turning back to Alex.

"Well, still, thanks, it isn't every guy that gives me flowers AFTER touching my chest." She'd giggle at that comment and continue. "Ah and, well, you don't have to worry about Masa or giving him food, I give him what he needs and... well, he follows a very strict diet, I can't give him anything that doesn't fit." She'd yawns slightly after that, using her free hand to rub her eyes. After all, it was pretty early in the day for Roll as she woke up about an hour or so ago... in any case, Roll'd wait for Masa to react now, seeing as she did get something unusual today and Masa might be interested in it...

Masa wouldn't respond, really, as he was addressed, letting Roll speak for him instead. One thing he'd do, however, would be pitter patter over to Alex's position and eye him up and down, examining him after he gave Roll the bouquet.

"Hm, I see... no hostility, friendly demeanor yet his perverseness makes him suspicious.. I'll have to keep an eye on him, I'm sure." Shaking his head, Masayoshi would sit down right in front of Alex and signal him with his head to sit down as well, bopping it up and down as if nudging him slightly but without touch. If he understood and complied, Masa would look through his glasses and into his eyes, seeing what his reaction would be... nevertheless, the look in Masayoshi's own eyes wouldn't be hostile or even menacing but rather slightly inquisitive as they examined Alex's expressions.

"You... I hope you know what you're doing, at least." He'd close his eyes give him a lick on his forehead to show that he was alright for now before getting up and moving back to his spot, lying down exactly where he was before.

Roll chuckled slightly at Alex's response, he was right, truthfully so she couldn't really say anything much else about it... though Masa's actions did take her a bit by surprise and made her laugh heartily, looking as the boy stood up again after being licked.

"Hehe, it's the first time I see Masa lick someone before they interact with him first... you're lucky, Alex-san!" She'd put her hand up to her mouth and give him a short but sweet giggle, looking at Masa again and calling him to stand upright before petting him should he do so.

"Well, you don't really have to worry about Masayoshi, he doesn't really attack people unless extremely provoked... he's a very good guard dog, I gotta say!" Leaning down to meet Masa's position, Roll'd hug him and pet him, looking at Alex again afterwards.

"You can pet him if you want, he won't mind, I'm sure~!" Smiling at the taller boy, Roll'd sit on the ground next to Masa, waiting for both their reactions.

Masayoshi yawned as Alex stood up again after that little inspection, though he'd comply to Roll's request and nuzzle her hand as she pet him, closing his eyes in happiness as he did so.

"If you say so, dear, I won't deny it, though I dunno if it's really all that unusual as you say." He'd smirk slightly after thinking this, knowing that Roll understood it fine... still, the surprise he felt as Roll leaned down and hugged him was greater than his cockiness, making him flinch a slight bit as she did, not really expecting her to do so in the first place.

"U-um... well, alright, then..." He'd look a bit embarrassed and an actual blush would appear on his snout that, if Alex was paying attention, would go away as soon as Roll let go, making him clear his throat with a cough as he shook his head.

"Petting? I can't say I'd prefer it but I won't deny it if it's necessary..." Looking at Roll as he tilted his head, Masayoshi closed his eyes afterwards, yawning again afterwards that'd mean he was slightly tired, still, from awakening not too long ago.

"Provoking?" Roll tilted her head as she heard him say this, was it really that bad if it was an accident? Well, she couldn't say it was most pleasant thing in the world but still, he didn't mean it... or at least, that's what she thought.

"Oh, um, I wasn't doing anything TOO too important, I was just taking a stroll here... having lived in Standasen all my life, a change from the usual grimy attitude and dark alleys is always welcome... I like this island a lot, actually, but I can't move out of my home... shame, I'd have loved to live here." Letting her eyes wander around the flower field, Roll stretched before taking out a small piece of paper from her pocket.

"Right, this'll seem weird but I'd be grateful if you took this." She'd then hand the paper to Alex, making sure it was face-up. On it, he'd see her name, "Roll Light" along with a small title below it, reading "Seamstress by Commission". Below everything, along with her address and a few slogans, there'd be her phone number, albeit her work one. Regardless, Roll hoped that Alex would take this.

"Yeah, um... I'm kinda really passionate about my job, I can't meet a person without handing this to them, you see?" Smiling a bit awkwardly, Roll still couldn't hold that detail one, a side effect of her inability to keep a secret, of course.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

As Alex's hand was brought down on Masa, the white dog would flinch slightly at the gentle touch, being a bit embarrassed after it all happened... well, at least the boy wasn't seen as a threat anymore, so Masa'd ease up and relax, letting his body fall down to Roll's side once more as he laid his head on her leg, closing his eyes as if sleeping, though he'd be more than awake, that was for sure.

"Alright, then... I hope he doesn't make any mistakes, at least." With a slight yawn, Masayoshi let himself rest for now so he'd be ready for anything later on. He wouldn't notice Alex smiling at him due to lying down right after the "pet" and closing his eyes, not really paying attention to anything being directed at him in terms of vision, though he'd stay alert and listen for anything...
